  1. It's not clear to me why (if the testimony at the time was that the girl was consentual and initiated) the jury didn't acquit.

There is something not said in the ESPN article.

Basically - this is a bit of a tearaway kid who smoked dope and drank and shagged girls at the age of 17 (and younger presumably) whom we are being asked to look favourably on because someday he might have had a chance to play pro football, or at the least Division 1 College football?

I don't agree that on the balance of the ESPN article he should be doing time, but all I am saying is that something is off with the stance they take. Just because he plays football doesn't mean there is no fire where there is smoke.

Have to agree this is something more to this story....how would the DA know he was getting a hummer? Something else is going on here.

  2. Brady called Manning after the Baltimore win. They golf together. On the field before the game, they chatted for 5 minutes. I'm glad to see Brady lose, but he's not a total jack-@ss. He knows they will both be Hall of Fame inductees.

It is interesting that we annoit Brady as a HOF QB...not that I would disagree, but here was a question I heard debated after the 3rd Pats SB. "If Brady was to retire today (day after he won the 3rd SB) would he be a first ballot HOF? The one guy who said it would be hard to vote him said that being a SB MVP (albeit a two-time winner) is not enough to get you into the HOF. That the HOF is for a body of work that at this time Brady has not accomplished. So I ask, 2 yrs later, does Brady have the numbers for Canton?

  3. At halftime the Colts adjusted and Bill almighty couldn't scheme his way out of the BIGGEST COMEBACK IN NFC CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY!!! You got schooled by Peyton Manning

So much for your false prophet! Suck it Patsie fans, just suck it.

I think for the first time ever, the Pats got called for penalities that could have been non calls. It was nice to see the roughing the passer call and PI calls when they were probably ticky tacky...but for so long those calls went the Pats way. Last night they went the Colts way...YEAH!

  4. None of that erases the fact that;

Patriots - 3 Super Bowl trophies

Bills - Wide Right followed by 3 consecutive thumpings.

    Enjoy what little you have.

Cant wait to see all the love for J.P Losman next season.

I'm going to sit back and re-read that last sentence while giggling like a little girl.....

Makes you realize how special it was for the Bills to make it to 4 CONSECTUTIVE Super Bowls.

  5. Hrmph. And here I keep hearing that Gaffney is a scrub that Brady makes look halfway decent.

It was a nice catch...the issue about the call, and it is not challengable, would he have stayed in bounds if not hit....that is hard the judgement part. Not sure....

  6. The Patriots won't tie-up the money it will take to franchise, or even transition tag Samuel. So he'll be gone. He even mentioned how he and his agent approached the Pats for an extension and what they offered was an insult.

Hopefully as has been suggested, HE'LL be the #1 target of everyone.

Why would anyone overpay for one good season?
