Sabres win the Cup and they will say it is the first championship for the city since the Bills won the 1965 AFL championship.

Make sure you put a Dolphins helmet on me.

If Ralph likes him, going to Detroit will move LFB closer to where Ralph lives....bye bye London
-
maybe..let's see how the two of them play. I'm not so sure as to say your pudding will be spoiled. The comparison is pretty good by the way. Tennessee had a number of good quarterbacks who were less than successful in the pros before Manning. Your saying that because the other Tennessee receivers (many of whom are still playing and starting in the pros) predict the success of Meacham is pretty much on point.
I would take Meachem too...but then again I am a UT fan. Meachem is an excellent possession receiver that can compliment Evans. Why would we want another deep threat? I rather we have Evans, Price and Meachem....

I cannot tell if people are pissed because the Bills fired Wade, jealous that Dallas got him or think he just is a lucky guy. My take is that had we had Wade through the TD years, this team would have done a whole lot better!

Remember Ralph was one of the first to SELL naming rights....Rich Stadium. He was Kraft before Kraft had any cheese

Did you guys discuss linemen?
We did talk about it...but we realized that all the good linemen are older (8-10 yrs in the league). All the names of DL, OL and LBs were guys already selected to the Pro Bowl.

The real question is....if you were starting an expansion team and can take 22 players (11 offense, 11 defense) which QB would you take to start your franchise in 2007. This comes from a discussion at a party here in the DC area where a Deadskin fan was all happy about the future of the Deadskins QB Jason Campbell. I said Campbell is like Losman...solid at this point in their careers but you would not start a franchise with them.
Let me give you some really interesting answers
RB - Reggie Bush (I would take LT myself)
WR - Chad Johnson (not a bad choice...probably some better, I would take Wayne).
QB - Tom Brady (this is where the question comes from). I think that Peyton did more with less this year.
-
If I want superbowls, I will still take Brady.....
Of course, if you want any those QBs, you would want their OL too.....
I was wondering the same thing last night. Is Manning that elusive or is the OL of the Colts that good. The RT was a rookie who was filling in for the starter. But hey, the Bears OL is pretty good, and well Grossman looked awful.

Peyton Manning
Marsha Brady
Drew Brees
Big Ben
Michael Vick
Personally after the SB last night, I think I would take Peyton over any of them.
-
Maybe he will ask Jimmy Johnson....he did screwed TT when he left Okla St after recruiting him...actually I would hope TT would ask Ballard...or Hull to present him...they did block for him.
-
Given the situation...he performed well...I was proud of him.
-
Is he HOF worthy? I think so!
-
True, but what general manager in his right mind would agree to trade away Tom Brady?
Tom Donahoe...if he took over the Pats...he would trade him and bring in his own QB...maybe Marcus Vick.

Johnson say coach ignored his condition
Former New England Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson said coach Bill Belichick subjected him to hard hits in practice while he was recovering from a concussion — against the advice of the team's top trainer.
My My...how can this be the case in Oz?

Do not confuse the amount the show withholds and the tax rate. The show withholds 50% and pays that to the government on your behalf. You then receive a 1099 at the end of the year showing the total amount paid and the amount withheld. Depending on your circumstances, you file a tax report and pay the taxes accordingly. Believe it or not the IRS does this to protect you against not having the cash to pay your tax bill. Why would that be the case? Let's just say you invest your winninings in a house...won 212K and you put that into a downpayment on your house...when the tax bill comes, you have no cash..just a house. So they IRS says...take 100K and give it to us to hold...if you are due a refund we will gladly pay it to you....without ANY interest...

This just in: Pro football players are normal people.
NO....Normal people hold grudges.....Jimbo needs to stand on principle and hold a grudge...

The real question is do you have a system that you find guys who can play it....or do you take the guys you have an build a system around their strengths? I think Greggos biggest weakness is he has a system and forces players to play it.....I like Wade Phillips who takes the players he has and develops a system for them!

Ironically the most valuable trophy given out in sports is.....the Preakness Cup. So horse racing is the most revered sport. Hockey can never be popular in this country because they cannot find a TV deal to give it the exposure it needs.

Their well is dry.....even the most loyal Pats fan had to see that they are no longer the NFL darlings. The story line in the soap opera has changed. No longer is it the unheralded QB who takes over. Unfortunately for the Bills, it looks like the story line is coaching....either young or minority.

He is an average to slightly above average MLB. He is not in Pro Bowl territory. Actually, I think Schobel makes the Pro Bowl because of his sack numbers. Not sure he is in the top 5 DEs in the league. Numbers are half the game. Reputation is another 1/4 of the game, and team record is the final quarter of the game. Bart Scott is there because Baltimore is a good team. If the Bills were in the playoffs, I think Fletch would have gotten a sniff.

it's a business for god's sake...the NFL is hardly a honorable business...it is cut-throat and the Bills should be cut-throat. We cannot compete if we develop talent and let them walk away without compensation. Particularly, if we do things "on the cheap" as Ralph is prone to do. Clubs lie to players and players lie to clubs. Join the friggin' real world and play the game. Franchise clements. If another club wants to pay him big bucks, god bless. We get draft choices at least. The NFL has the franchise tag to give the clubs more power in negotiations with players, and to keep the playing field equal between teams...USE it for god's sake.
Because the Bills have class...and Marv has class. If you like to screw honor..then you hire TD...want a classy organization...you pick the Bills under Marv and Ralph. I am not saying I am against the tag...but if we promised NC we would not use it...they we do not use it.

I'm sure they do. Most don't get caught on tape, however.
>_>
Could be that THAT had more to do with this case than anything else? NAH.
Why the F is he taping his hummers...for an academic kid, he failed a basic rule of life...leave no evidence!

I am defining bust as not Pro Bowl caliber play....they might stick around in the league...but none of them will be Pro Bowl caliber.
