I always wondered how my classmates were able to party so much. Basically do nothing. It never occurred to me that they were incurring crippling debt. I graduated debt free.

Graduating debt free puts you in the 1%.  Same as my daughters.  While their friends took fancy vacations in their formative years our

family's vacations were primarily visiting other family members.  About 5 years after they graduated, they both thanked me and their mom

for arranging to have them graduate college with no debt.

and yes, I keep up with college friends on a regular basis.

  2. Justin Moore of Villanova out with a torn Achilles tendon.

He's a junior and could return for next season after successful

surgery and rehab.  Nova will have a tough time without him playing.

  3. When the team you root for gets beaten in the NCAA's,

    Do  you lose all interest.?

Root FOR  the  team that beat them?

Root AGAINST the team that beat them ?

Hope that your bracket still can win, since everyone else's bracket is broken also?

It was pretty cool to see the interaction between him and the kid from Tennessee last night.

Yes, that interaction was top shelf.

Changing gears.  The commercials with Spike Lee, Samuel L Jackson and Charles Barkley  are definitely top

shelf and better than ANY of the Super Bowl commercials.

  5. We lived in Ashtabula for 10 years and the number of bad driving adventures is a large number.

Christmas '83 we were planning to go to Lewiston to see mother-in-law.

When I woke up  the snow was not coming down, it was coming sideways.
Needless to say, we did not make it to WNY.

Our house looked like the Siberian house in Dr. Zhivago.

I shoveled a LOT of snow in those ten years.

Just scrolling through responses..... is my fandom the youngest on this board? Like the next most recent fans are guys from the late 80s / early 90s run. I will have supported the Bills TWENTY years this August, after coincidently watching a pre-season game on a trip to America when I was 18... and I am the most recent new fan?

Some of you guys are a) and b) loyal 😛

Young Bills fan. At the 59 minute and 47 second mark of the playoff game vs KC

  7. Bills fan since 1962.  Dad shared season tickets with co-workers So I attended some games at the Rockpile.

Earliest memory was the '64 championship game in Buffalo.  It was Blacked out, so dad and friend took a

TV to the NY..Penn border and we watched the game telecast on the Erie PA station using the car battery .

Favorite memories.  Meeting Jack Kemp at my fiance's college graduation.  He was the commencement speaker

AND hearing the news that Kevin Everett was going to be OK.  The Ralph was silent when Kevin got hurt in the home opener.

Favorite player?  Too many to list.  We should cherish this time with Josh as he is a once in a lifetime player.

TBD..Joined in 1999 and remember the board crash after the MCM playoff game.

Name. I graduated from Lewiston Porter in 1971, as did my much better half.

And i feel like with the NFL hand in the pot with legal gambling it’s only gonna get worse.

I love the Bills because hometown habits die hard. They are all I really watch. Bills are more of a social event to me, to get together with friends and family.

I am not a fan of the gambling connection.

I am all in favor of  full time referees.

  9. Geesh  2.5 pages  before any mention of  Bill's themed breakfast delicacies.

I still have one box of Flutie Flakes stored away.

    My top five.  (Chronological order)

    Sugar Smacks

    Corn Pops

    Coco Wheats

    CrispX

    Special K (any flavor)

** Grape Nuts mixed with any of these**

This was exciting as all get out.  Congrats to the Kiwis and this young lady.

I watched this live as the rest of the family went to bed.  This event is my daughters favorite.  ( The daughter who hiked the Appalachian Trail)

The next morning SIL turned on Peacock to watch this and I  watched in silence , not wanting to spoil the outcome.

The celebration  started by the Silver and bronze medalists was great.  Even greater when all 12 participants joined in.

Can confirm it's a great place to watch a game.  I've only been once, in 1995 for a pre-season game between the Bills and Chiefs -- I was driving across country and visiting my grandfather in KC, realized the Bills were playing that night, and went.  The place was packed (for a pre-season game!) and it was pretty great all around.  Except for the heavyset lady in the parking lot who saw my Bills t-shirt and gave me the double bird.  I was like yeah, sorry we just kept you out of the Super Bowl twice.  I'd say I hope she's happy now, but I wouldn't bet on her still being around.

Mrs. Lew and I were at that game also.  The fans were nice, except for the 4 teenage girls who gave us half the peace sign.
