  1. Getting either AZ receiver would be great, but they will never let them go. What about Jerry Rice? He would be a great No. 3
  2. Be realistic about the number three receiver. How about Bobby Shaw, he was the best receiver two years ago (besides Moulds obviously) but really played well when EM was hurt. Or how about trying Price (useless in Altlanta) or Curtis Conway (useless everywhere). Or about one of those fast little white guys?
  3. Very obvioulsy staged. By bad actors, like a dramatization from a Ora Gel commercial--or a Keanu Reeves movie.
  4. R. Rich, you have got it all right. You are miraculous, how do you do it? I have never heard anyone state the obvious the way you do it. Please save us, save us all!! What's with the love fest?
  5. Obviously neither QB will be back in Buffalo, the question was, who would you rather have between the two. "Neither" is a boring easy escape. I think you would pick Flutie over RJ, right. I have a hard time understanding why so many people would respond to a thread about Flutie saying,"your not allowed to ask such questions because it won't happen." It's just a question, I promise you won't be held accountable for your answer. BTW the argument thaqt Flutie lost that Miami game because of numerous tunrovers is better than saying he lost the game on the last play of the game. He drove them down to the five yard line with less than a minute on the clock, and ran for dear life trying to find someone open, that sack/fumble was a last gasp of a great drive.
  6. I think R. Rich should be our kicker!!
  7. Fiedler? Does anyone remember him playing in Buffalo in the winter? He is awful. Garcia would be a better fit, but he thinks he is a starter and would never come into Buffalo knowing the rookie had the upper hand on getting the starting job. I still don't see what the rush is to get Losman on the field. He is not ready, and Drew is not done. Stay the course.
  8. Oh that's right. No what if questions. I forgot the rules to this all important chat room. Maybe you should all hop on the "what about Fiedler" thread and spew some venom there.
  9. Exactly, when it was fun to watch the Bills. You always thought that we could win every game. Now you feel, we could be sacked for a fifteen yard loss, or a fumble at any minute. I was behind DB, but maybe it is time for another new era. Seems like there is a new era every two years in Buffalo-where great defenses go to die.
  10. It's just math. If Moulds didn't showboat we would have had seven more points. Unless you are one of those highly metaphysical types who thinks that everything would have been different if MOulds had held onto the ball. But with that logic, we can't really talk about the past at all. Seems jkind of boring. Besides, what do you ND fans talk about if not the past? Sorry, back to the well too quick, huh?
  11. Thank you. Of course I am an Orangemen fan so I really have nothing to say.
  12. In my defense, I would remind everyone that I am only suggesting Flutie as the back up, not the starter. Who better to provide a brief spark off the bench. Really. Look how ticked off his mere mention has made all of you. Everyone seems so bnitter. Did you guys vote for Kerry?
  13. At least the Irish are still a powerhouse!
  14. Not starting the QB that got them to the playoffs. That undoubtedly was the biggest %^&* up of the game. No last minute shoeless comeback necessary if you stuck with your nine win QB.
  15. So I guess you are all in agreement that if you had to choose between Flutie and RJ, you would choose RJ to QB the Bills next season? And yes, I was at the Oilers game, and at the Bills v. the number one defense Ravens game wehre the Bills and Flutie won, and I was also at the Bills v. Chargers (in San Diego and in Buffalo) and I was at the Bills Redskins and sadly at the Pittsburgh game this year. And when the Bills finally win it all, I will be there too.
  16. The fumble at the end of the Miami game came at the end of a scramble, when no one was open, look back at that game and you'll see that the biggest !@#$ up was Moulds celebrating on the twenty and getting stripped of the ball. No, serioulsy.
  17. Interesting, he made fans of him, not of the team. Wow, imagine a quarterback with some appeal. And how do you think people became fans of him? Maybe because he was fun to watch and made the impossible possible (like going for it in Baltimore on four and fifteen, and scrambling for an eighteen yard gain.) All of the other Bills QB's since Kelly were all about the fans loving the team, until the middle of November when we had been eliminated. By the way, I have not heard Rich Stadium as loud as when Flutie completed that pass, until Rob Johnson came in in relief for the skins and he got sacked. RJ- the QB all Bills fans hate. Flutie, the QB Bills fans secretly know would have won that Titans game.
  18. It's amazing how many people hate Flutie on this site. At the Chargers game in Buffalo two seasons ago, Flutie came in to relieve and the crowd went nuts, chanting Flutie, the snow was falling and the Chargers had done nothing all day. First snap the Flute completed a forty plus yarder right down the middle of the field. The Bills fans were going crazy, you would have thought we won the Super Bowl...(whatever that sounds like.)
  19. BLEDSOE MUST STAY! Let's face it no one wants the Bills to take another giant step backwards. Bledsoe looked great when the offensive game plan had him taking some deep shots, the payoff was well worth the occassional interception, and got Lee Evans involved (see the Seattle game.) With a slightly less conservative game plan (see the Pittsburgh game) and better protection Bledsoe is still the man. Dose anyone really doubt that Bledsoe was incapable of leading the Patriots like brady? If I had that kind of time in the pocket, I could play well enough not to lose in New england as well.
  20. I was at the game, and remained for the entire thing. The best part: right behind me and my friends were Oilers fans. Real jerks who were relentless. Once the Bills had come back we turned around, and they had snuck out in shame. What a great game.
  21. Ahh, with the return of the Flutie fans come the rearing of the ugly heads of the fair weather fans. I bet your the same guy who said "if the Oilers score one more point, I turning off the tv." I would have said that you would have left the stadium, but I doubt you were there that day.
  22. Josh Reed. You are a receiver, not a corner back, catch the ball, do not knock it down.
  23. Hurl, last time the Bills made it to the playoffs, under Flutie, two times in fact. first time, if it wasn't for Moulds fumbling while showboating after an eighty yard catch they would have been in the AFC championship game, and second time, Flutie led them to the playoffs where he was replaced by RJ to suffer the most humiliating defeat (until this years Pittsburgh game) Face it Flutie is the only winner to helm the Bills since Kelly.
