The one strategy that I have always subscribed to is getting day 1/2 talent in day 3 because of poor medicals, off the field concerns, etc.
We have seen this pay off for teams in the past.
Mathieu
Hill
Biadasz
Trey Smith
Paye
JOK
Myles Jack
Mixon
Those guys all fell due to medicals or off the field stuff. And they all wildly outperformed their draft position.
So who are the red flag guys who have great talent, and a not so great background?
I think these kind of players are certainly the exception and not the rule. For every Myles Jack, many likely fell for a good reason.

Micah may be unpopular, but that's a thin story.

Hoping that we can get two or even three quality starters out of this years draft.
Perhaps Kincaid and Torrence have opened McD's eyes to the fact that rookies can play in this league.
McD has a solid history of playing rookies who earn it. Including some who didn't (hey, Cody Ford)
Milano, Edmunds, Oliver, Rousseau, White, Allen, Benford, Araiza would have been a starter, Spencer Brown, Gabe Davis, Knox, etc.

Ok. His driver is driving while using his cell phone. Still he's a nincompoop.
The need that this attention hoor decided he must go out and film himself for views is pathetic.
Stay home because iTs DaNgeRoUs... And use the cameras all over the area to exhibit the issue.
Sorry, I don't love your boyfriend/son/brother Mark as much as you do.
You are pathetic.

There is no L to take. He's on his phone live streaming while driving during a travel ban. What tone deaf idiot does that?
This is 2024. You don't need that much attention - cameras can show conditions everywhere.
Good Lord. The County Executive is NOT driving. Not only is it clear he's in the passenger seat, he has a full-time driver AND he's not subjected to the driving ban. It's hard to tell if you are willfully ignorant of how elected officials do their jobs or just enjoy griping about the stupidest crap.

Looks nasty. Driving ban. Executive goes to drive in it. What an #######.
I mean, it's literally his job to see how it's going.
Alternative gripe: "What does he know? He's holed up in his warm office while the real workers brave these conditions!!!!!"

Martin has been excellent. Let's hope it lasts another four weeks. This week will be a huge challenge.

Addiction is no joke. What is funny is that she (who must need constant attention) decides to do this Now... he's been clean for 1/4 of a year and willing to submit to drug tests. Her move is more reactive than proactive, the timing is very odd and makes no sense. Why now? Why not years ago if she wanted to do this? He has stated that he started using drugs at 11 years old. That's the lol part of it.
You can't be serious. What the !@#$ do you know about their family situation? What you chalk up to attention seeking could be the hardest decision Cher's ever made. It's pathetic how some people let their dislike of someone color their judgement of someone's actions.

However, if some of these reports out there are true and Josh is battling an injury that needs rest, would it make more sense to give Josh, and maybe some others, the week off? I'm sure Hyde's neck could use a break too.
I'm sure this will get me flamed, but if playing on the road for the playoffs means that Josh is even 20% healthier, is that worth it?
I'm not saying I would. Maybe play him for a bit and see how he feels. But I care more about a healthier Josh because we don't win without him. (Minus the Dallas game)
I don't think the Bills run all over the Cowboys without Allen. He's the threat the Cowboys couldn't ignore.

It's OK, he plays in Buffalo so he's a turd just ask Barnsmell.
Relax, fans can say other LBs likely deserve the nod over Bernard and that doesn't mean "he's a turd." Chill out.

Miami will sign Tua as they have no other choice. I don't think Tua is a "great" QB but he's "pretty good" and there aren't many of those.

Bernard’s out there breaking records and definitely deserves all pro if I’m being honest. He’s been all over the field making plays the entire season. The tandem of Milano & TB is going to be lethal next year.
I'm not sure many believe Bernard "definitely deserves all pro" but If he sneaks into the Second Team it wouldn't be a complete shock.

Yes, and I'm not totally sold.

Agree with this. Maybe Milano or DaQuan of they didn't get hurt.
Torrence for the all rookie team tho
Agree, Milano and DeQuan were on track for an All-Pro year, but alas . . .
I have no idea where Torrence ranks with other rookie guards (or linemen, if that's how they do it), but recognition seems like a good bet.

Taron is the best at his position. However, take Barnwell out of the equation, and other than Ed Oliver, I don't think any other Bills deserve All-Pro consideration. Which is fine as long as the team wins.

Opposing teams are still double teaming him, so he is making an impact regardless of his stats. Hopefully playoff Von comes up when we need him most.
Ha, ha. What? There is no reason to double-team Miller; a running back could easily wash him out of the play. If Miller was double-teamed no one would be complaining

What's the point of this team's philosophy?

Miami is a bombs-away offense and gets continually shut down against playoff-caliber defenses.
