  1.

The game was more lopsided than the score - WTF was up with the officiating?

    * Fred Jackson had Sheppard all over him during the incompletion that would have been a TD

(or a 1st). How was that not PI or defensive holding?

Absolutely and announcers did not seem to notice.

On the other hand I've seen it mentioned nowhere today that EJ had a TD pass to Fred that didn't come to fruition because Sheppard got away with defensive holding.

Matt did but it is a long thread started by a great post by Bill in NYC. Thanks Bill.

  2. I hope to god some dope in some office suggested this and other dopes agreed with it. They would get exactly what they deserve if the Bills embasass both of those teams.

I did not know "8and8Forever" worked in the front office.

Now he got burned on one side and needs to turn over to make the other side match for Washington game.

Hopefully the front office has learned that they can not let the janitor pick the matchups of the preseason especially when teams not front office schedules preseason games.

  3. FYI, folks, Minnesota at Bills to be shown on NFL Network this Sunday at 10 am

    That's Sunday, August 18th, 10 am.

    Go Bills!

    Thanks Joisy.

2 days after the game was actually played is flat out disrespectful. They replay games that were live games once and some twice before they have the Bills game on Sunday.

It is being replayed on Sunday so *I* can watch it when I get off work. Some work nights you know?

  4. Plax prob wasn't even going to make their team anyway so the injury is really a non issue

Brad Smith has about as much trade value as I do

You have a lot of trade value - it would be a lot of value to our team to unburden it from you.

I'd give up a lot to trade you to Patriots* or Miami; you would not even need to change your posting style.

My consensus is Brad Smith ends up back on the Jets after he is cut before the season starts

My consensus is that Brad Smith will not be traded for Jonathan Dwyer. That's about it.

Nice that you came in consensus with yourself.

  5. Rumor has it that OC Hackett will be sitting in the box with the Stadium Wall Shout Box opened up on his laptop looking for suggestions from our membership....keep your suggestions to a maximum of two words. Some suggestions include: "Go Deep!" "There's Stevie" "He's open!" "CJ screen!" "Pass the $%#&in ball (4 words)

Don't forget - wear bag :bag: - if you listen to pundits or fans.

  6. I do think adding bye weeks is part of the solution for it adds weeks and gives players time to recover without more games which can lead to more injuries but think preseason is a different issue. For Bills fans preseason is a low cost game but for other teams it is not always the case since the other teams have less tickets to sell. Look at Green Bay who sells out preseason and stadiums are full.

  7. They also may be looking how well Glenn plays on inside when they use the formation with an extra tackle on the outside using Hairston when he gets back or Welsh or maybe even Sanders. Glenn played as guard part of the time in college and this will let the coaching staff see how he functions with another blocker on other side as a pro.

I'd be a lot more confident on the assistant coaches if Marrone had same attitude about competition and interviewed some of the previous coaches before dismissing them summarily.

  8. I do not thnk a lot about the writer since his title says it all: 'Fantasy (that I am an) Analyst" but here they are.

    (there is a video too)

Buffalo Bills at Washington Redskins -- Saturday, Aug. 24, 4:30 p.m.

This game will decide if Kevin Kolb -- as long as he doesn't slip on anything threatening like a floor mat or a shark between now and then -- or EJ Manuel wins the Bills starting quarterback gig. It's hard to believe that a quarterback taken in the first round of the NFL draft nowadays might start the season on the bench, but if Manuel doesn't light the world on fire, it could happen. And if it does, coach Doug Marrone will win less games on the 2013 NFL schedule than he would have with Syracuse's 2013 ACC schedule (where he probably would win about seven, and that's being generous).

He probably does not think much of Marrone since he did not get any fantasy points from him last year. Maybe there will be a follow up article as long as the writer does not slip and fall on a disgarding potato chip bag.

  9. That's certainly not fact. Parker legally has a duty to serve carrington to the fullest, not use him as a pawn.

That is BS. He refused to negotiate for one player while working on another player's deal. It happened with Sam Adams and Pat Williams.

  10. ... if you have ever heard of this engineer. http://www.latimes.c...48173.htmlstory. His impact on your lives can not be calculated.

I was aware of the engineer having worked at Hughes before and seen his picture on wall.

I had wondered if they were related.

My little patent for Hughes was not so glamorous but has gotten more than 30 companies to license it and has been recognized in ANSI conferences. Not bad for a temporary system administrator hired for a few weeks.
