I am probably going to be in Buffalo this weekend. I have a four day weekend and my wife and daughter have off but we may go to Canada instead. My wife is driving so it is her call. If she is mood to rest, I'll probably go.

I will but I may not keep it. I had another lock up. Alt-Ctrl-Del did not work and now twice I needed to power off by taking out battery. Any idea how to resolve such a problem? I had same problem with another machine and it just went away.

I bought a Toshiba A75-S209 Tuesday for $899 at Comp USA. Had a lockup already but it could be random not a sign of a problem. Don't see my model listed on Comp USA site so salesman/manager might not have been lying when he said it was the last of the model they had in stock before the new model (same processor, slightly higher speed and 80 GB rather than 60 GB drive) compared to Toshiba A75-S211 which is significantly more expensive.

And if you want signatures and avatars but some are sooo offensive get a REAL browser which allows you to block images and give you a control bar like FireFox. Occasionally I turn on signatures/avatars and when I do after a bit I just start blocking the images I see over and over and over.

Bills ought to sue for "theft of services" since they paid him an entire year to not perform.
I do not think he will survive playing all year playing every game. He came knicked up and got knicked again.

Once again I have a countdown to opener for those who need it.
I do not have a standalone one this year, it is at the top of my website, but could create one or pass on code to someone who wants one on their local drive.

For those who have not heard, Netscape 8 browser is out; it has many of the Firefox features. I downloaded it and installed it with little effort and it surprises me for some reason my Netscape 7 browser broke (I was messing around with register) and I never could get Netscape 7 to work again even with downloading and reloading it again. It effortlessly imported my settings including passwords from Firefox. It has two settings on install which I changed to opposite - use IE for trusted sites (I only use IE is I *MUST* and I will do try everything I can to avoid IE) and allow "usage statistics". I also turned off the download/plugin for desktop weather.

Why do I have Netscape downloaded when I mostly use Firefox? Yet another alternate to sites which poorly react to Firefox and to try before using IE. Plus it allows me to log into multiple accounts on same server (i.e. yahoo) without logging in and out.
Some additional notes:
1. Netscape by default trusts itself; I changed that so *I* decide if it is trustworthy
2. Not all passwords were saved

$80 for a year == $20 every three months for 4 times without option to cancel; Unless I planned on spending more some months early and not later I see no advantage. But still looking at Virgin though.

I am not anybody. I actually looked at link Fezmid stickyed before I posted my question. The ones frequently advertised on deals (i.e. Dell, HP/Compaq) have no interest to me due to prior experience. I did not see any deals for any laptops I want to buy on techbargains. On dealcatcher.pricegrabber.com I saw IBM laptops but nothing special. I found AV3500 Tablet PC from another link in that post but I found better prices than any of the links, all of which are sponsored (paid for), on the sites except TigersDirect.
I am looking at a Phillips 30" refurbished HDTV deal now while I scanning for laptops. Has anyone worked with a Averatec machine?

the best time look for a deal like i got is in a couple months (if you can wait that long). the new models will start rolling out so the price on "last years" model will drop a little. Then look for Best Buy, CompUSA, etc as well as the manufactuers to start offering rebates to clear out their older stock
i got my laptop for $899 + tax with a $200 mail in CompUSA and a $200 mail in Toshiba
I need to get one in time for my trip overseas.
I leave in mid June but I need time to test it out and load software, patches, etc.
I have looked at CompUSA but nothing so far.

IMO Reed belongs in the Hall but only after a long period like Lofton and only after review of other receivers.
And yes I do think his attitude has something to do with it.

I manage to get through onlone and buy 10 tickets. Entered my credit card and everything. Get to the end and it freakin crashes!! Now I have no idea if I bought anything!!!
Last year they let you fax in orders ahead of time. This was supposed to be an "improved" system! Nice going, TD!

This is the side of the President job Donahoe does the worst in my opion. Ticketing including ticket office should have been fixed when he got the job but I think they are too concerned about keeping staff.

haven't been to CA, but i had coverage in VA (hampton roads) and Buffalo (airport)
Well it is like bills - you just regularily pay and you are ok; I can handle it.
According to their website Buffalo, CA and Denver (three places I go to) are solid but my house in Alexandria is iffy. I am not too concerned at home since I rarely will use a cell phone when home but I will need to just find a location I can check messsages. Is there any way to check messages from a land line phone?

At $.25 a minute I can talk for 80 minutes per 3 months (minimum amount per 3 months to buy $20). I do not care about video (can not have it), games (I'll buy a handheld), wallpaper, ringtones, Screensavers, etc. Text messages I can use since they do not cost anything to receive. I can probably go with the $39 model since I will hardly be using.
Seems ok unless they have a lot of fees such as inactivity fees and coverage area works for VA, Buffalo and CA. I'll probably check it out for more details.

The second set of tickets have been purchased for the Bills / Saints game.
Tickets will be in section 645 rows 27, 28, and 29 (seats 1-10). I will send out payment information later today/night.

The total Bills group from TBD will be over 110 people.
Tickets will be mailed to me in June and I will mail them out as soon as I get them.
I talked to several other Bills Backers groups and Eric did very well to get tickets this cheap. Many have been trying for a while and ran into roadblocks. Congratulations on a fine job.

Are you renting a bus or camper for event? Seems a shame to have that many people drive.

I am travelling to LA on occasion and sometimes the hotel is inconvienent - messages are lost and often confused by night managert; I'd be interested in a cell phone available on weekly basis for when I travel. I am not so concerned about cost per call but getting calls/messages; if there were messages I'd probably be calling in to get them via work phone.

It seems to be a trend among rosenhaus' clientale to have a great season and then a take a hard-line negotiation on reworking their current contract.
Don't get me wrong. I would love to see mcgahee have a breakout season and lead the NFL in rushing. But i would also be lying to you if wasn't weary of what a great season may mean. Mcgahee has a 200-yard game and I';m dazzled and excited as a fan. He has 120-yard game a week later, and he's having a brilliant season. I'm happy but in the back of my mind is worry about what greed will do.
Maybe this is a silly thing to worry about, but with all this TO stuff (and javon walker) it seems like this could happen with mcgahee as well.
I do not think it is a silly worry at all. If we do not make playoffs I am thinking if he gets injured enough to miss end of season it will hurt his market value and that will be good for Bills. I also think the Bills ought to use another back in relief to prevent him from reaching any incentives when games are not in question. He was paid for two years to play for one year and I would not be surprised if Rosenass demanded that he be paid more next year. I certainly will be voting AGAINST him in probowl bid.
