I don’t remember a time in the regular season where OT was “play until someone wins”?
Looking through the old standings, there were ties in the 80's, 90's and 2000's. When OT was first approved, I am pretty sure, it was 1 OT period, and then a tie when that period ended. How could that be if they "played until someone wins"?
That is what I was questioning.Gotcha. In that case, you are right, it was a time-limited sudden death as opposed to a play 'til someone wins scenario. Sorry!

This was never a thing...except come playoff time.
Umm...no.
Sudden death was a thing until 2012 in the regular season.
Fun fact, Overtime wasn't in the NFL rule book until 1974.
I say...combine the current system and the college format! It'll be just like the NHL - a few minutes of regular play then a "shootout!"
(tongue embedded firmly in cheek!)

there is nothing political about human injustice.
you say you won't cheer or boo but you are exactly the problem thinking this is a political issue.
And you are incredibly naive if you truly believe this isn't being fueled by politics.

I find the app drains the battery....even when it's not being used! Seriously. With it installed it's like my battery has a slow leak. Delete it and battery life goes back to normal.

I saw that too and loved it. I did have to explain to my wife what that was all about.
I had to explain to mine too. Did you just get a blank look as well??

I remember this season well.
Can you remind games of last season finished like wins in 4th qtr?
+ Charles Clay drop in end zone could be come back of last seconds.
Dawson Knox makes that catch too.

Yeah. I didn't think so at the time, but the replay shows Yeldon stopped running and watched the ball go by him and right to the defender.

To piggyback on these, not only do I agree, but I wonder if we are seeing further development work happening in games - they are "practicing" the short game more to get it solid. Hopefully we see a few curves thrown in next week, I feel like McD, Daboll, and Co. have a few tricks up their sleeves that they are saving.

I like Buffalo Beat (formerly Bills Beat) podcast by Joe Buscaglia and Matthew Fairburn from the Athletic. It's pretty entertaining they try to keep it pretty even keel (not too much homerism).
They put out two a week during the season - one within a day after a game and one a few days before the next game as a preview.
And I agree - Radio.com app is garbage. It wound up draining my battery even when it was not in use (or in the backround). Once I deleted it, battery usage returned to normal. Now if I want to listen to any stations on it, I do it through a web browser.

Great to hear he was out there. In all seriousness though, one more wrong hit to the head and he's done. Let's hope it doesn't happen and he plays a full 19.
19?!?!
What, no Pro Bowl?!?! ?

I have insider information that Sean like apple turnovers, Beane likes cherry, but keeps eating the apple ones at breakfast just to annoy Sean.

Not only eras for Ferguson, but he had arguably one of the all time best running backs to hand off too, so of course the passing game would take a hit. He also played on some of the worst teams in that era as well.

Imagine if JW and MS had a show together?
I wonder if their heads could fit in the same studio....

Actually Kaep got paid an enormous sum of money and didn't even have to play.
Actually given his last few years playing wise he made much more in endorsements than he would have on his next contract.

If your post lasts for more than 4 hours you should consult a physician. (And an editor!!!)

I have it on good authority from a very reliable and inside source that Tre White was just seen at the Buffalo airport with Bill Cowher.
Cowher was driving a Taurus, it's on like a mofo!
