  1. "We like the guys that we have and we're going with that"

but in all seriousness he fits the 4-3, is better than the players at the position that buffalo currently has. He is young, is available for trade. Unless the chiefs wanted something ridiculous for him there is no reason for the bills not to look into it

  2. Its just a shame how everyone in the NY metropolotian area is going nuts over Jeter for setting a club record. A record as you pointed out no one knew who owned this record a year ago. BUT Marty Brodeur sets NHL records that might never be broken and no one cares. Brodeur is Jeter except with League wide records yet no one cares.

Sadly it comes down to baseball being a far more popular sport than hockey. Otherwise I agree with you. Can't wait for the devils season to kick off this year as well

  3. Richard Seymour- 6'6 310Lbs

    Marcus Stroud- 6'6 310lbs

    listed weights from the NFL

someone tell me again how seymour is "too small"?!? Considering he played in a system where they regularly shuffled him inside in 4-3 looks, on a team where he started out as a 4-3 dt, and according to NFL.com is the exact same size as Stroud... Now I'm not saying the Bills would trade for Seymour, obviously we probably won't. Although it sure as hell would be fantastic. I'm just trying to figure out why people keep saying he's too small to play dt in a 4-3. He would be the best thing thats happened to our defense since we had pat williams and ted washington.

  4. Todd Haley isnt really the best example. Most of the people that have played for him pretty much hate his guts. There was something awhile back where cards players had a bet about what chief player would be the first one to punch him and how long into the season it would take. During his time in Dallas TO completely tuned him out and he was pretty hated there as well. He tries to be old school Bill Parcells without the merit to back it up.

  5. Jevon Kearse somewhat but it's too soon to tell but you gotta like that speed and long arms.

I was thinking that as well, and if maybin can be anything like the freak in his first couple of years. We're in good hands with our pass rush.

  6. Smith is looney, and a clubhouse disruption.

All I know about him really is he punched Quinn last year, and his departure from Cleveland was a bit of a message by Mangini. Although I tend to take that with a grain of salt as Mangini has a habit of having players not like him. Im not all that familiar with Smith's time in Cincy, so I'm gonna have to take your word on this.

  7. Haven't gone through the whole list yet, but DT Terdell Sands is intriguing a monstorous guy at 6'7 340 and will be 30 in October. It won't happen but I'd like Buffalo to look at recently cut by the pats and former bucs draft pick tight end Alex Smith. I suspect the eagles will persue Alex Smith pretty heavily though. DT Shaun Smith, I dunno why the lions cut him but he's pretty young, and another big bodied guy who's pretty solid against the run. Also The giants cutting Maurice Evans, I think would be a solid pickup. The giants are pretty loaded along the dline, but I'll be damned if the Bills couldn't use some dline depth.

  8. Started at about 17, I turn 26 in Dec. I used to smoke quite a bit, but now only really smoke when I drink, otherwise I never really feel the urge to light one up. I dont think I can ever really give it up entirely, cause I enjoy having the option of having a smoke if it's there.

  9. Are you kidding? Assuming Marshall would play here for that salary, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

A true #1 WR in exchange for a #3 WR (at best), a punt returner, and a draft pick that is 50/50 to be a complete bust? That's how you make a winning team.

p.s. but Denver would laugh at that offer.

eh going by what denver has done this offseason. Fire their hc that won them 2 superbowls, get rid of Jay Cutler for Kyle Orton, trade their next years 1st rd pick to seattle to draft a midget cornerback. Move to a 3-4 defense when the talent they have is best suited for a 4-3. Than draft another 4-3 end in Robert Ayers. Than looking to move Brandon Marshall. Making a trade like this wouldn't surprise me one bit. The Bills wouldn't do it more than likely, but Denver that's debatable.

  10. I really liked Corey Williams when he played for Green Bay but I was less impressed when I watched Cleveland - Injuries or the system?

Syststem. Williams is not a 3-4 defensive end. Another example of wanting to play a system so bad you just put people in the wrong places. Cleveland probably would be much better served in a 4-3 with Williams/Rogers as their 2 dt's, but if they want to trade him well when he rips it up again as a 4-3 dt elsewhere they'll have to deal with it.

  11. Wow. That article is far too optimistic about Leonard in the offense. Leonard isn't their backup RB, Bernard Scott is. He's also not their FB, either. Leonard is not explosive enough to be a 3rd down back, and doesn't have the blocking ability to be strictly a FB. He is a situational player at best (maybe 3rd and short, goaline). That article makes it sound like he's some sort of weapon.

Pretty much sums up Leonard in a nutshell. Although Im not sure he could be a short yardage back. He runs too high and isn't explosive thru the hole.

  12. people need to let go of the past. Jim Kelly can not be everyones answer to the bills problems. Potential Owner/position coach/cheerleader/mentor etc etc etc. Until the Bills get a competant front office it doesnt matter what ex player or friend is added to Ralph's circle of trust. We'll be stuck with the same level of mediocre talent of a roster we currently have.
