  2. I know. I'm merely pointing out that Norv Turner took over an excellent team from one of the better coaches in league history. Its difficult to determine who is ultimately responsible for the Chargers' success this decade, but certainly, Schottenheimer and a solid front office team both have a major hand in it.

The chargers success this decade may have a little something more to do with the luxury of having had not 1 but 2 franchise quarterbacks. I mean the team got rid of a franchise quarterback and replaced him with a franchise quarterback. How many teams can say this?

  3. No thank you - Pats cast offs have not proven successful elsewhere - If Bellicheat lets them go generally they are past their prime.

The Patriots really haven't had "cast offs". Most of their players were either acquired through free agency, and their lines built thru the draft. It will be interesting to see in the coming years, what Seymour will do, or if they lose Wilfork. What kind of contributions those guys will make with other teams. Milloy and Law were both older defensive backs. Deion Branch although he got traded for what could be considered "a lot" was never really anything to write home about. He had a solid first 2 seasons with Seattle. Seymour has had a decent year with the Raiders. Bledsoe had a few years left in him, and brought us our only winning season this decade. He also mentored Tony Romo in Dallas. Matt Light would be an upgrade for us, but then again so would anyone who could stay healthy for more than 4 games.

  4. Comparing JP to Aaron Rodgers, <_< . We might as well bring in Rex Grossman while we're at it, because in all seriousness or Kyle Boller cause these are the 2 qb's most like JP.

    Rex Grossman-

    Career 37 69.5 524 971 54.0 6197 167.5 6.4 33 36 sacked 58 times with 428 yards lost and 19 fumbles 10 lost

sacked once every 16 pass attempts threw a pick once every 27 passes a td every 29 pass attempts.

    JP Losman-

    Career 42 75.6 558 941 59.3 6211 147.9 6.6 33 34 sacked 103 times for 751 yards lost and 32 fumbles 17 lost

sacked once every 9 pass attempts threw a pick once every 28 passes a td once every 29 pass attempts.

And for the suppouse "gun slinger" mentality that was the myth of JP Losman had a pathetic sub 150 yards passing per game. Both Grossman and Losman each had 1 year where they showed "potential" mixed in with the same pathetic play that plagued both their careers. JP Losman couldn't touch Aaron Rodgers talent on his best day

  5. Do NOT vote him into the Pro Bowl. Another Eugene Parker client got a swelled head after being voted to his first.

Yeah who needs silly things like Lt's. What we need is inferior players to replace guys who do their job then wish to be compensated, seeing as we as fans don't pay NFL players, we should complain more about good players who you can build around, and then fill a team with scrubs and Tinker Bells. Sounds like a plan to go with.

  6. They're a finesse team who's had a string of bad luck. Whether it be injuries and inconsistency. Schaub unable to stay healthy until this season. Slaton and his bout of fumbleitis. Kris Brown missing fg's. Honestly I think in tonights game it was more a bad misuse of time outs that cost the texans the game than anything else. They played good enough to win. Although I think they should've used some time outs sooner, or at the very least ran another play with 8 seconds left. A quick pass to gain another 5-7 yards and then used their last time out. They're 2 missed fg's away from sitting at 7-3 right now. They have the talent to win, and I don't think Kubiak is a bad coach. At least not to the point where there should be an overhaul.
