I believe you are correct. No state was going to forefit federal aid though so in reality the Feds were still in control with legalized blackmail going on there basically. -

I'm not really a fan of theirs, but they have individual songs that I like. They put on a pretty good show. -

Yes Halford is back in the band. I saw them at OZZFEST last year. -

I agree with you on all counts actually, but I don't believe it makes it right. The war on "drugs" has caused more violence, murder, and mayhem than many wars and what have we gained from it? Higher taxes, overflowing prisons, shakedowns for 30 dollar bags of herb. At least I can still go get drunk and kill someones loved one on the road though. -

Hey Ron isn't suspended anymore I also feel this way about the gay marraige issue. States should decide how to handle that issue and it shouldn't be controlled by the federal government. If we are going to allow everything to be under the sole juridiction of the federal government, the need for state governments is lost. -

Now now, no need for hostility. I just don't see why the federal government should be in control of one issue but not another. Should states not be given the right as individual entities to allow or disallow something like marijuana use? -

Interstate highway speeds. Why is that not under the jurisdiction of the federal government? -

So it takes a millitary stint to tell someone they should be sucking off a sheep without providing anything relevant to what we are speaking about? I love your assumptions in the latter part of that post as well. -

I personally believe it is the right of the states to dictate their own laws. There are plenty of examples of this and this issue should be the same. -

When I refer to the "moral majority" I'm referring to a general group pf people that take no interest in what the people of America want. The supreme court is not taking the best interest of sick and terminally ill people into their thought process because their tainted view of marijuana won't allow them to do so. Marijuana is not a drug and to hear them compare it to heroin tells me all I need to know. -

HAHA I love seeing a guy from Pennsyltucky try to insinuate that I'm some sort of hillbilly with no education. It's laughable at best and stupidity at worst. Why don't you venture outside of Pennsyltucky once in a while and see the world J-Bone. Gain some perspective. -
Charging Buffalo = Raging Cockroach ?
BF_in_Indiana replied to cåblelady's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only people that are for changing the logo to the standing buffalo are those who never liked change and are afraid of change. They are also the same people who don't like the new uniforms and the navy blue. It's 2005, not 1965, get over it. -

Ah.........another victory for the moral majority. I wonder how many of these people in the supreme court know someone with MS who only feels good if he's smoking marijuana. I do. The guy can barely walk and is in pain all the time and smokes weed to feel better. It works for him and I know it works for others with horrible diseases. Who the hell are these people to tell someone they can't ease their pain? -

A top notch pro shouldn't need television to get tells on their opponent. I tend to focus on the hands and body language to pick up tells. The eyes don't really tell the story most of the time. -

I watch poker on television for educational reasons. I would rather see it as it happens and watch all the button raises, blind steals, and subtle things that go on. I hate the all in fest coverage of the events other than the main event at the WSOP. I love watching WPT though because they show a lot more than the WSOP coverage does. -
Kellen Winslow Sr. - Blaming The Media Again
BF_in_Indiana replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually I just saw the Winslow Sr. interview on ESPN and I can honestly say that I don't think he was wrong in what he said. All he said was that his 21 year old son made a mistake and that the media has turned it into a circus. He's right on both counts. Whether he's got an axe to grind or not, he's being honest in this case. -

Actually the last two years he is playing much better in tournaments than Johnny is. Moneymaker is no "amateur" persay anymore. He has cashed at one or two other WSOP events and he got second on WPT event since his win in '03. I never said he was better, just that I thought he'd do better in '04 than Chan. He showed up with a friggin hangover and those hopes were dashed. -

I don't see how they could wear them against San Diego. The Chargers will be wearing their powder blue jerseys and we do not have white jerseys in this style (at least at the moment).
