He seems to thrive when plays break down...
He's going to be thriving on Sunday!
-
The thing with Justin Rogers was that he was right with the guy on almost every play- most notably the Santonio Holmes TD- but he didn't figure out that you have to turn around.
Hey, if he'd done that then he would've missed out on a spectacular catch and run.
-
I promise you, if Leinart goes out on Thursday night and lights up the grocery squad...
There is little risk of this happening. Leinart's had his chances and if he was going to light up anyone he would have done so by now.
They signed him because he was available and he may be available again very soon.

I see your Corey Moore and raise you an Eddie Robinson.
I still remember Eddie Robinson getting juked out of his shoes by Chad Pennington in the red zone. I miss the tastefully-named Gregg Williams who had the audacity to tear down the 3rd-ranked defense in order to rebuild it in the image of the 1st-ranked defense as if the difference between them wasn't due entirely to chance.
-
I can see it happening but I'd much rather hope that EJ tears it up at camp and there's no way Marrone can justify not starting him for week 1 against the Pats.
If Kolb isn't the weakest link in the offense, why rush Manuel? Was Aaron Rogers rushed into the Packer's lineup? I guess the question is, is Kolb equivalent to an aging Favre?
Has anyone actually seen Kolb play - He is about as anti-clutch as they come and he gets sacked all the time. Fitz was anti-clutch granted, but at least he didn't get sacked all the time.
You may not be accounting for the fact that the Cardinal's O-line was a sieve. Kolb played better in Philly behind a competent O-line.

Wait, she called off the engagement and she expects to keep the ring? LOL!
The sad part is he needs to sue her to get it back. He's wasted enough on that ho.
The Bills should mount a HUD in Mario's helmet that overlays her face on the opposing quarterback's.
-
So he buys her a $750,000 ring, she uses his plastic (that he gave her) for another $100,000, and he spends yet another $230,000 on her for "luxury items" then dumps him.
Well you know what they say about a fool and his money.
Or maybe she just felt she could not compete with all the hot wing-fed Buffalo women
She probably just decided to cash out now; he won't be getting another signing bonus anytime soon.

Agreed, I loved this kid out of TCU but his production in Indy has not been great. With that being said, Shep never worked out here & I think Hughes has more potential to make an impact on Pettine's defense.
Isn't Pettine the guy who managed to get some production out of Aaron Maybin?

Kenny Vaccaro or EJ Manuel, and I'd be happy with either. I do have a strong inclination that Geno Smith slides to us @ 8 though.
Why, can Smith play tight end?
4) Nothing is more valuable to a young QB than a great receiving TE who can bail him out.
I think an old QB values that, too. I hope you're right.

The derogatory term that Washington uses has nothing to do with bravery or being a warrior.
When someone roots for a team and wears clothing emblazoned with its name and/or logo they are explicitly affiliating themselves with it and expressing tacit approval for what they believe that name and/or logo connotes. I think that we can all agree that no one wants negative connotations to be applied to them. Do you think that the people who rooted for the "Birmingham Black Barons" or "Washington Black Senators" did so with racist intentions? During the games that those teams played, how many KKK members do you think were in the stands wearing their jerseys, cheering them on and waving their banners in the air?
It's bad business for a sports team to choose a name that bears negative connotations for the majority of its prospective fans. The name "redskin" has everything to do with bravery and being a warrior for the fans of that team and the belief that they buy tickets and merchandise with the intention of denigrating Native Americans is ludicrous.
-
t's difficult for me to understand why some Native American groups would prefer to erase all references to their fighting prowess and warrior heritage.
Thank you for articulating my point better than I did.
-
What you say is very revisionist. It isn't like they thought up the name Redskins yesterday. The nickname was given when it was normal practice to use derogatory names openly.
The name is applied to the team, isn't it? Do you think that its owner would have just as readily named it the "Washington Wankers"?

Levitre is 6'2". Buddy likes his offensive linemen in the 6'6" range.
Buddy also wanted to experiment with Manute Bol at QB until he learned of his death.
-
Some think it's always okay to denigrate and/or marginalize another people's culture, history, and heritage as long as it's not theirs.
It makes no sense to give a derogatory name to a team that's intended to represent a major metropolitan area and the people who live in it and, therefore, the name "redskins" actually denotes respect for Native Americans in this context.
-
Fwiw, I don't think we will resign him before the FA period starts. I feel he will test the market and who knows what happens then.
I agree; Levitre's agent would be nuts not to test the market and OBD knows this.
It depends. Does the SF offer come with topless blondes that will come over and fold your laundry?
It does but they're all men.

I will be watching the Superbowl today with some anger that the Bills took Williams when they could drafted had Kaepernick.
The Bills never had a chance because
When he was in 4th grade, Kaepernick wrote himself a letter, predicting that he would be 6 feet 4 inches and would "then go to the pros and play on the Niners or Packers even if they aren't good in seven years." -
The only 2 teams that should be even considered to move are the Chargers and Jags.
Maybe the Rams will move to L.A. and the Jags will move to St. Louis?

308 lbs? So we're gonna go with the mobile QB model this year, huh?
"
When I was drinking 'drank,' I wasn't thinking about what it could be doing to my health. I'm 180 pounds and, when I was on 'drank,' I was 240. It (has) so much sugar in it that it blows you up, and it makes you eat a lot, and then you got the soda." -- Al D

Rivers has 6 kids. He's probably exhausted by the time he gets to the stadium
Exhausted by what, trying for lucky 7?

[A] washed up, 27 year old, injury prone, steroid juice-head that has not been productive in 5 years.
That sounds like the lead character in a feel-good sports movie to me.

I'll gladly ship Freddie to GB for a 2nd or 3rd, but a RB over 30 usually has very little trade value.
GB isn't the team to trade with; AZ is really thin at RB right now and still has hope for this season.
-
The ONLY reason the O line looks half way decent is because Fitz can get rid of the ball so quickly.
That's the one thing that Rob Johnson, Drew Bledsoe, J.P. Losman and Trent Edwards couldn't do.
-
1. Somehow, somebody rips into the softness of this team and somehow they get tough. Kyle William might be a good guy to do it. I think there is talent on this team and if guys play hard and tough, I think the results would be a lot different.
Management needs to send a message and that means somebody has to be cut. Since the defense is the worst performing unit that player will be Ruvell Martin.
Should the Bills Lock in Thad Lewis?
