Obviously not. The team that beats you every week 2-0 has a great defense. Now you are starting to get it.

Defense dos not win games. Scoring more points than the otther team is the more telling statistic. 100% accurate predictingi the winner. It's always the team that scores more points.

I'm already camped out in my favorite chair, the leather one in the corner of the room. The seat of the chair is sunken in where my fat ass has made a permanent crator. (my family makes fun of that every chance they get) I have NFL Ticket so I can watch all the Bills games. The best investment I ever made. I have my laptop in front of me as browsing TBD. I have three tvs in front of me. On the center tv, the Sony 34" HD will be the Bills game. On either side of the Sony are 12" tvs that will have NFL games that impact my fantasy team. I play fantasty football so I can potentially have something to feel good about if the Bills lose. Unfortunately, when the Bills lose, nothing can make me feel good. I used to watch all the games with my four sons but now they are grown up and either living out of town or working so I mostly watch the games by myself now. There's nothing like watching the Bills with your sons, celebrating the victories and lamenting the losses. I always get a phone call from them about 5 minutes before kickoff to talk about the game and the conversation always ends with that familiar phrase..."Go Bills"

That was great post. If you ever want to drive to Binghamton to watch a game with me again, I still have that TV tuner for my laptop. I'll bring the snacks too. How about tomorrow?

This is exactly my point. Just because we are statistically the number one pass defense in the league does not mean that is our strength. The strength our our D is based upon creating turnovers. Turnovers occur when you play an attacking style of football. When teams want to complete a pass against us they do. They just haven't needed to. We need to be taking more chances on D. Do you think our offense is going to score 20 points? No.

and time of possession for the opposing offense. We need to blitz more. Who cares how poor our run defense is? Who cares whether we have the number one ranked defense or the number 32? The only thing that counts is the final score. Our objective should be to win the game, not become the best defense of all time. Squish the Fish!!!!!!

Well that's just brilliant.

We had a good run last year, but all the breaks were going our way. That has a way of masking poor coaching. Our last three losses have been close games that we could have won, but did not because of two things. No breaks, one example being the McGee kickoff return and poor coaching, example, punting down by two scores with 5 minutes to go.

I can understand struggling with a near rookie qb for the early part of the season, but based on what I have seen from our coaching staff after 4 games, I am not too optimistic about the rest of the season. They have packed in the season already.

That was the icing on the cake. They needed two scores to win the game. You punt when you have a good defense AND Jim Kelly at qb. DUMB.

Mike Nolan on "coach cam" NFL Network said that he is trying to trade Winborn to accomodate Winborn's wishes to be a starter somewhere. Nolan says that Julian Peterson is his starter, with Winborn the back-up.

Reflecting on the Hunter Kelly passing over the past few days has saddened me and made me reflect. Listening to Kelly's tribute to Hunter at his HOF induction made those four Super Bowl losses seem pretty insignificant. I have been a die hard Bills fan for over forty years and have let it be known to all that the one thing that would make my life complete would be a Bills Super Bowl victory. I take that all back for I have already won my four Super Bowls. Their names are Joseph, John, Stephen, and Robert; my four sons. God Bless Hunter Kelly and the Kelly family.
