  1. http://eod.liquidviewer.com/wgr-od/wgr/20060403_ruff.wma Absolutely insane after the hit. Mr. Tucker took a bad run at Jochen and put him out for another few weeks. Bad News in Sabres land. T_R
  2. I think Vernon Davis is the worst example. If we hadn't went out and got Royal it might still be a possibility. Popular thinking is that the Bills are stocked at TE and he won't be available. Does anyone really think Ngata is ranked that far behind most of the big names? I don't. I've only seen him play 7 times in two years but all 7 times he was a difference maker. No way do I pass on him if he's there. T_R
  3. She wasn't giving me much more than just telling me it was hot and she liked it. I'll get back to you on that. lol. T_R
  4. AHHHH crap... I thought I put this off the wall. Sorry SDS, if you want to get this LAMP out of here please do. T_R
  5. I had my head on her mother's stomach yesterday and I heard her say, 'I'm staying here, it's warm like florida!'. Seriously though, her mother is about 95 lbs when she isn't pregnant and the doctor said if she doesn't come out by Tuesday Morning they are going in after her. So, do me a favor and say a nice little prayer for Kaia Marie today. It would mean alot to us. Thanks, T_R
  6. A 6 4 340 pound defensive tackle is a playmaker. Lee Evans, Willis Mcgahee, Roscoe Parrish are all playmakers. A healthy Takeo is a playmaker, London is a playmaker, Clements is a playmaker. My thing is this if on the board you have vernon davis a 97 and Ngata a 96, you take Ngata because he's a more glaring need. Not that I don't want Davis because believe me he is the guy I would LOVE the Bills to draft, but I just don't think it's the hole we need to fill. If you draft him you are saying that Kevin Everett is officially a waiste of a roster spot/draft pick due to the signing of Royal, having Euhus and then the added spot for Vernon Davis. Now as much as I'd like to throw Coy Wire to the wolves I think the Bills are going to let him and Matt Bowen fight for the opening at safety. As for LB I think you have 3 returning starters and two depth guys already in the fold. You may not think the world of Posey or may not have alot of faith in Takeo coming back 100% but the value and money for linebacker is invested. If next year all of the starters and back ups fail then you address it in 2007. The glaring need is the lines. Forget glamour and fix the core of your team. T_R
  7. My hope for the draft this year, we draft for necessity rather than attention. If you think safety or linebacker is the biggest need on this team you completely missed 2005. We are incredibly unstocked on both the offensive and defensive lines. That's not to say that there aren't other players (Vernon Davis) that will be available with amazing upside in the NFL. I would just rather see the Bills get a player in a position that are we are in more trouble. I thought Ngata was a lock with the first pick. I believe it's conjecture on the part of the Bills but maybe he isn't really there choice in the 1st. All of the talk about him not being the right guy for the positional defense we are going to play is hogwash. 6'4 340 running a 5.1 on the defensive line will work for any team just fine. He may not be Julius Peppers but he fills a huge weakness for the Bills. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE! If they don't take him I'll be suprised, but if they don't my belief is they trade out to someone looking to draft the 3rd quarterback whether it be Cutler or Young. I'm not sure who will be looking to make the jump but I know there will be interest. The Bills need draft picks to restock on a lot of short comings. Buffalo fans aren't expecting a playoff push next year so I think it's safe to say that this is a building year. Now this is all contingent on D'Brick not being there. Again, he may not be the best to come out in 10 years but he's the best to come out the year we really REALLY need offensive line help. He would be an immediate and impressive upgrade to whom ever they have slated in on the Left side. We all can agree on that. I'm not really interested in one player or one position but 3 of the first 5 picks have to be spent in the trenches. T_R
  8. It's worth it. When the Bills eventually do win it all, AND THEY WILL, it will be twice as sweet. Forget everything else about how hard it is you sound like a wussy. Life only gets harder. In 3 years if your biggest complaint is people razzin you about your bills gear, consider yourself a lucky man. T_R
  9. Guess what... If the shoe fits... How many times has that scenario played out in your life as a Buffalo sports fan? Accept the truth and enjoy the ability to laugh at yourself. One more thing, no one controls the future and the philosophy that we 'will suck' is a defeated attitude. How about the RedSox? Or the Patriots? Or the Tampa bay Lightning? Or the White sox? Or the..... Do I really have to? T_R
  10. One tear from Teddy Bruschi has been said to be strong enough to cure Cancer. However, this will never happen for Ted Bruschi has never cried.
  11. I think the premise of the original post was based on it being a 3rd rounder and the author just made a mistake. If I'm correct the idea doesn't seem to bad. Yet, if the Bills get anything for a player they should have probabily cut I'll chalk it up as a victory for Marv. Ideas on a message board that everyone doesn't agree with...wow...let's stop the idiocy. Immediately T_R
  12. Me too, I read his post and thought he was fooling around. Now I'm not so sure. I hope he was
  13. Priceless. Absolutely Priceless. T_R
  14. I'm not so sure of that Nick. I love E. Moulds as a Buffalo Bill but he isn't the same guy he used to be. He didn't want the pay cut, he didn't want to play when the balls weren't all thrown to him and he apparently didn't want to be in Buffalo. If we can get something of value for him then I think it might work out for all parties. If it's a 7th rounder then I'm with you. His production is slipping. He's 32. He's developed an attitude about being here. So... Don't let the door hit ya on the way out. Look on the bright side, atleast fans from Buffalo won't have to watch him and Jimmy Brinson anymore with that atrocious program 'The Eric Moulds Show'. T_R
  15. http://www.click2houston.com/randysblog/index.html Hi folks. Local 2 sports has been in contact with people close to the Eric Moulds negotiations with the Eagles. Late Wednesday afternoon The "WIP" sports radio station in Philly is reporting that Moulds and his agent have come to terms with the Texans on a contract extension. Now both the Texans and Bills are working out details on a trade that will get him to Houston. More tonight on KPRC Local 2 Sports at 10
  16. Man, I've only had a chance to read a few of your posts but you are prick huh? You are on a message board. If you don't expect meaningless junk here you are an idiot. T_R
  17. As much as I'd like to beat him I see the idea of writing him off and moving on. Although 450 dollars isn't a ton of money, I'm an expecting father and losing any money right now sucks. Yet, with all the changes just around the corner (and I mean just around the corner. Due date was last Tuesday.) I'll cut my losses and move on. My brother does have his priorities messed up, I agree. I have other things to worry about and the money shouldn't motivate me to get into a fight. This kid sucks and he's been warned that if he comes anywhere near me I will bloody him. I really hate walking away knowing that someone got the best of me. I guess I'll just hope he comes near me and I get to punch his face. Thanks for the feed back guys. Vive la Russ! T_R
  18. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/col...r_kc&id=2387114 The only player to have generated significant interest around the league despite not being a free agent is Eric Moulds. Moulds has a $10.85 million cap number for the 2006 season, and the Bills have given him permission to seek a trade. As many as seven teams reportedly are interested in him. One of the reasons Moulds wants to be traded is his unhappiness with the way he was used during the 2005 season. Moulds did catch 81 passes last year, ranking him 15th in the league in that category. However, he gained only 816 yards, 33rd in the league, and the 10.1 yards per reception ranked him 74th in the AFC. These numbers are down from his 2004 totals of 88 catches, 1,043 yards and 11.9 yards per reception. The reduction in production would seem to suggest that Moulds has a legitimate complaint. I decided to conduct a metric analysis to see how his 2005 numbers compared with those of previous seasons. First, here are his receiving metrics from the 2005 season: Eric Moulds- 2005 Depth Attempts Comp Yards TD INT Pen Yds/Att Short 91 68 545 2 1 9 6.1 Medium 20 10 167 0 1 4 8.6 Deep 17 3 104 2 1 20 7.3 Total 128 81 816 4 3 33 6.6 Now take a look at Moulds' 2004 metrics: Eric Moulds- 2004 Depth Att Comp Yds TD INT Pen Yds/Att Short 100 68 644 1 1 5 6.5 Medium 24 14 208 2 2 -5 8.5 Deep 24 6 191 2 3 28 9.1 Total 148 88 1043 5 6 28 7.2 These numbers are largely identical, particularly if we keep in mind that Moulds played in only 15 games in 2005 because of his suspension for violating team policy. It might look as though the Bills were using Moulds more as a short pass receiver in 2005, but his role was almost identical in 2004. Last season, Moulds averaged 6.1 short pass attempts per game, compared with 6.3 in 2004. Moulds actually helped himself in this category by improving his short pass completion percentage by nearly 7percent from 2004 to 2005. Moulds wants people to believe his vertical pass attempts were reduced last year, and he is technically correct. It was reduced from 48 medium/deep pass attempts in 2004 to 37 in 2005, but you have to factor in the difference in games. Once you factor that in, it only amounts to a .5 difference in attempts per game. The reason Moulds doesn't catch many deep passes is he simply doesn't get open deep. One of the things I measure on every pass play is the degree to which the receiver was open. I track the number of steps a receiver was open by and whether the defender had what I term good coverage or tight coverage. Calculating the number of steps is fairly basic. I simply look for the separation between the receiver and defender when the pass is thrown. Determining the quality of the coverage is more subjective. When a defender has good coverage, it will take a perfect pass by the quarterback to beat him. When a defender has tight coverage, even a perfect pass likely will not beat him. During the 2004 season, Moulds ranked 85th out of 87 qualifying receivers in tight-good coverage percentage on deep passes. Moulds had tight or good coverage against him on 62.5 percent of his deep pass attempts that season, meaning it was highly unlikely the pass was going to be completed because he simply wasn't open. His deep pass coverage metrics weren't much better in 2005. Moulds had tight or good coverage against him on nine of his 17 deep pass attempts, which equates to 53 percent of his deep passes. Moulds still can be a significant player for the right team, provided he can accept the role his current skill set dictates he should fill. The Bills certainly still could use him as a possession receiver. The Texans are rumored to be very interested in Moulds, and they certainly could use a strong No. 2 receiver to complement Andre Johnson. The Eagles, Chiefs, 49ers, Broncos and Seahawks also certainly could use a reliable possession receiver. The ball is in Moulds' court. If he markets himself as a possession receiver, he will have plenty of options. If he insists on being paid as a vertical threat, most teams are going to lose interest. 19. I'd agree if I thought that the Bills really wanted to cut Eric. Marv tried his ass off to keep him at an acceptable price and he wouldn't bend. So, now they are well under the cap with him and it wouldn't suprise me if, with out a decent offer, they still try to keep him. Eric saying he won't play is a farse. If the money is good expect Eric to be a very happy member of the Buffalo Bills. T_R
  20. Everything you just said. Oh yeah and I've heard of him!
  21. It's a cuban neck tie and I just happen to be cuban....
  22. That's what I'm saying GoB. I'm not one to go around threatening people or starting fights. I'm just tired of this kid and his attitude and if I don't beat the sh-- out of him he's going to have a. my money and b. no bruises to prove he has my money. That in itself is just wrong.
  23. The money was stolen, even my brother can admit to that. He's just not into fighting as it ruins lives and as he says 'If we were meant to fight we'd of been born with horns on our heads'. He thinks we should talk about a fair value for me to recoup financially. He knows I'm right he just doesn't like fighting. Not a drug deal. We bought some stock for Christmas to sell. I just wasn't given the correct figures at the end of the season. LaBillzfan, if any human being on this board thinks they are always right they are idiots. Perspective can be examined from many different angles and sometimes with heated frustration we all think irrationally. But yeah, sometimes I can be really stupid. T_R
  24. Well, one of your brothers isn't ghandi then. Mine is. He is 5 7 and 140 lbs and thinks fighting should NEVER happen. He's the type to condemn fighting in hockey. Most of the time we respectfully disagree, and he is my best friend. He isn't threatening me like he's going to jump in. He's giving me the song and dance about how it's wrong. T_R
  25. He's 26. He stole the money from me from a business endeavor that he worked on. He told me the gross of what we earned was 450 dollars lower than it was. Today I talked to the other parties involved and got the truth. The other person in charge of finance lives in Minnesota and I just had the chance to speak with him. Yes, he is afraid of me. Not like I'm bragging or a tough guy, he just knows I'd ruin him. It's almost happened a few times and I've rag dolled him in the past. Bringing it to this board is alway helpful. Usually I bring personal issues that are undecided here because people make me see the stupidity that I get myself involved in and I usually take the high road. I'm still not sure I want to as of right now. His mom left his father for a black guy and now is making babies. I can't go there because I'm not that cruel. !@#$ing his mother would be secondary to the amount of verbal abuse I could give him for the aforementioned. Herpes? Man that's cold... T_R
