Boomer Esiason was laughing his ass off too and actually said "what was that" after the interview as CBS was going off the air. They all know BB is a douche.
How about giving the Colts some credit, even just a little bit. Every coach I have listened to after a big loss always gives the winning team credit. BB made no mention whatsoever of the Colts being the better team today. He is a classless douchebag.
Belichek is an a-hole, but at least he didn't run off the field without congratulating anyone like that little B word Marcia. Maybe Tommy had to change his tampon.
There would be good if WM had a better supporting cast around him. Can't compare JP to JK yet, or Aaron with Bruce, or Evans with Reed, although I see Evans being just as good if not better. This o-line doesn't come close to that o-line either. It's all a matter of opinion. Apples to Oranges.
How often does Brady throw 3 interceptions in a game? Marty didn't feed the ball to the best player in the league enough. Players screw up, good coaching can usually overcome that, ala Belichek. I think Marty's playoff record speaks for itself.
It sure as hell didn't help. 3 pts is 3 pts and eventually what SD lost by. The odds of making a 48 yd FG in decent weather are much higher than coverting a 4th and 11. Just one of many mistakes by the Chargers.
Blame this loss totally on Marty. Going for it on 4th and 11 instead of kicking a 48 yard FG? Not much wind that day either. They get those 3 and the game at least goes into OT. Nice job Marty.
I was in 134, row 8 and at the time, the winds weren't quite as strong as when Bironas kicked his earlier. I'm still baffled at the 3rd and 1 pass play the series before. Willis gains 9 yds on 2 straight plays. 3rd and 1, let's pass. Run the damn ball!!!!!
I am not sure how to take this. My opinion is that stats don't mean sh*t. Who cares who's rating is what. I do care about W/Ls and the fact that JP is improving, but his rating hasn't gotten us anywhere yet. Records do mean something on the other hand. I feel much better about JP now than I did a few weeks ago, but it has absolutely nothing to do with his rating.
Plummer having the worst rating as a starter in the league and JP having the 12th best is proof positive that personal stats are pretty much garbage. It still is, and always has been a team game. That is something NE fans have no conception of.
Rex Grossman going to playoffs
Eli Manning, probably going
Big Ben, slim chance but could turn it around
Drew's team, going to the playoffs
JP, although improving, not going to the playoffs.
QB rating isn't taking the team to the playoffs.
And Houston is a good team? I didn't discredit the Bills anywhere. I was saying I think the Bills are a better team than Houston and they should have won. Which, by the way, they did. Barely.
He missed both FGs to the right. Anyone else notice how he pushed all 3 XPs through the right side of the uprights also? He needs to lay off the sauce, I think it's making him off balance.
I'm not too impressed with beating Houston. We should have beat them. The 31-0 drubbing of the Pats was the best win in recent memory.
Today ranks as the best game of JPs career so far. I'm more impressed with that.
