  1. I read the section that Levy wrote about the comeback.  I was only 10 years old at the time and I was watching it at a friends house in Chicago.  When it was 35-3 they turned off the television and told me not to watch anymore.  I guess they might have thought that it was too painful.  The few people who actually stayed for the entire game have something they can say that almost the entire population of the world can't say.  They witnessed the greatest comeback in the NFL of all time.  Although I've seen the highlights, I am jealous of the people who were there.  I would say for any Bills fan who was attending the game, the emotions throughout the game were probably unimagineable.  I'm glad that in the end the majority of the people in Rich Stadium felt pure happiness.  Everytime I watch the highlights of that game, I still get goosebumps.  Wow was that something special.

I have my ticket stub and program from that game . A half of dozen times I threatened to leave and my wife said " well lets stay till after half time" Right after half time the Oilers scored again and my wife said " ,"you are right lets go" As I packed up my bag I was right behind the oilers bench as the miracle began , one touch down two touch downs three touchdowns. I looked at the vistors bench and all I saw was utter suprise and I then looked at Warren Moon who kept looking at the scoreboard and his face almost said "we are going to lose this game I dont beleive it, and I cant stop them "and he was right!!

I have attended many games too numerous to mention including the infamous SB 25 but nothing can describe the roller coaster ride of the Oilers and the excitement of that victory

  2. Did anyone else here Criqui talking about Takeo having friends over for Thanksgiving back when he played for the Bengals and he served fried racoon? He didn't tell them until afterwards either?

I'm sorry but that's my type of humor. Takeo is the man.

So?? Whats the problem , if you havent had it dont knock it . Its too tough fired ,baked like a turkey makes the difference , why it can even be stuffed . Unfortunately there is no white meat on a racoon.

All white men are either gay or wimpy , the ones uner sixty that is ,just watch your tv ads ,fat sloppy white males dancing around in ads like the sugar plum fairey

  3. Could stand and cheer at a pep rally for the signing of Drew Bledsoe. An now be totally against him.  Sorry to see this from you all.

I know that we are still in the depression from all those playoff appearances from the Jim Kelly days.

It will get better just wait and see. I know alot of you have no patience.

Come on you cant say we didnt support him where the problem is , he did not return the favor.

No more excuses he has had enough time. I think Drew is a class act ,but class acts dont always some in first.

  4. Life time Ban for:

1.The fan(s) that threw things at the players and on the floor

    2. The fans that went on the floor.

3 The players that went into the stands .

And of course criminal charges and lawsuits .

Oh and due to the fact it was Detroits home game no more games for them this year.

    Case closed.

You can go to any place in the 'hood' and see the same thing for free ,why you might even catch a shooting or two.

Who ever said that if these guys werent playing basketball they would be in jail was right on the money. Think about the money these guys get the next time you buy a pair of those 120 dollar Nikes :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

  5. I don't know exactly when football became a "family" game. Who exactly are those Coors Football commercials geared towards? Who gives a darn about some old used to be half hot broad in a towel? Why are kids up at 9pm watching TV anyways? They should either be in bed or doing their homework. This crap is getting out of hand. No boobs, no violence, no women in towels, no swearing on TV. How un-American is that?

Yea but ninety percent of these panzy football players are gay,so that makes it American :D

  6. I bike 30 miles everyday.  Earlier this year I was chased for a long distance by a bigass dog.  I know exactly the house it came from.  I called the police and the officer said he thought he knew the residence and that he would speak to them.  Today I was riding home and that same dog went after me.  It jumped at me from the yard- I had to swerve into the road to avoid it and I almost got hit by a car.  I pedalled my ass off and that thing chased me for aproximately a half mile.  What options do I have?  I just called the police again- they are gonna call me back.  I am furious at this owner.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

"a 44 magnum the most powerful hand gun made , why it could blow his head clean off" does he feel lucky ,well does he ? :D

  7. 95% of the posts today are just negative nonsense with no football facts to back them up.  So should we start a Negative Nancy forum where everyone can complain and say "Drew Sucks, he just sucks, he really sucks" or should we make a football forum where we talk football, but I thought that's what TSW was supposed to be...

When they start playing football we will start talking football

  8. I see how some are quoting Losman with his leg. Well what I am listening to right now is him saying he favored the leg and shouldn't have. He expected it to hurt BUT IT DIDN'T!

Let me post this again for the clowns that want to mis quote him... THE LEG DIDN'T HURT!  He says 'I just gotta get it outa my head (the leg) and just gotta play football the way I know how'

so the leg is a MENTAL issue and HE knows it.  He also says they said Shane Mathews was going in then all of a sudden they turn to him and tell him to suit up and get out there.

Anyone else notice even on the field he wasn't happy with himself? Also I noticed on a couple of plays he was talking to the OL men.  The guy is pissed and says it was a learning exp and doesn't want fans thinking that is how JP losman plays because it isn't.

So, the leg is good from a physical standpoint, he is just favoring it mentally and knows he shouldn't.  He was thrown in with ZERO preperation esp with the coaches saying they were going with Mathews.

if after all of that info you still bash Losman, you have problems. Give the kid a full week of reps and let's see what happens.

BTW...I wonder....if they were going to go with mathews then all of a sudden throw JP in there....who made the call?  Maybe big daddy Ralph?  :P
