  1. I volunteer to make the ultimate sacrifice for the team. I'll sign for the league minum $230,000 a year, and walk around with a clipboard. If need be I'll come in for 2 plays to hand off to a RB. Don't worry about my arm strength. I can throw just as far as any other QB with 2.5 seconds of pocket time. By signing me, you won't have to waste $760,000 on a veteran QB that will never play a down.

  2. What good is a speedy receiver if your QB only has 2.5 seconds to throw the ball. From watching last nights game, it appears Shaw is pushing for that #2 receiver slot. Below are the receiving stats from last nights game.

RECEIVING NO YDS AVG LG TD

    Bobby Shaw 3 36 12.0 17 0

    Ryan Neufeld 3 24 8.0 9 0

    Eric Moulds 2 33 16.5 24 0

    Drew Haddad 2 33 16.5 21 0

    Jonathan Smith 2 29 14.5 25 1

    Jerel Myers 1 17 17.0 17 0

    Sam Aiken 1 11 11.0 11 0

    Willis McGahee 1 9 9.0 9 0

    Mark Campbell 1 8 8.0 8 0

    Ken Simonton 1 2 2.0 2 0

    Joe Burns 1 1 1.0 1 0

  3. I shattered my right ankle on a parachute jump. I continued to jump for a few years after that injury, but I got nothing for it when I left active duty. I currently hold my medical insurance through the VA. In the area I am in now, I've never had a problem going to a clinic. I've gone to the VA hospital once and that was incident free. However, I've heard many horror stories about the VA hospitals from my other friends through out the country.

  4. i wonder if you could talk police officers out of it

"excuse me officer, could you make that ticket out so it goes to the town instead of the state *wink* multiple parking tickets *wink*"

Hello sir, I see you were going 85 in a 35mph zone. If you make a donation to the sheriffs association, I might be able to give you a warning for this.

  5. It's ok... it's just a preseason game. I bet the NE fans were saying the same thing after their week one thrashing a year ago. Let's focus on the positive. I saw an improvement in Drew this week. Tonight it looked like he counted to 4 and then threw it to a TE. If he can keep hitting those short passes to the tight ends, then the running game will open up.

  6. Marty, look out!

The CUBS win the World Series?? OVER MIAMI? hehe

Moller has been working on the skycar for a while now. I read a few years ago that they had no problem finding investors for it. To quote their website "the M400 Skycar can cruise comfortably at 350+ MPH and achieve up to 28 miles per gallon. "

  7. Arrogant " Street " ball doesn't win the Gold. Team basketball does. Next time, maybe they'll pick an actual team , instead of wasting several slots on " I'm too Cool " type of Players.

What... you mean you're not allowed to take 15 steps in the Olympics. It's a conspiracy against USA basketball!

  8. Just got done watching my spanking new DVD of the Miracle Comeback (Thanks Fez). I sincerely miss the joy that this team used to give me (especially #56).

I would also like to thank Fez for the DVD. I just got done watching the comeback game myself. What really caught me offguard was how the announcers kept saying how great of an coordinator Gilbride was. But the quote of the game came from Boomer in the postgame show. Bob Costas asked Boomer if he ever had any doubt Reich would come back. Boomer was like, "damn right I knew he would come back!".
