  1. Absolutely.  Until stevestojan like that stops I don't want to hear anyone say how we have the best / most knowledgeable fans.

We still sell out our games... even if we know we aren't going to make the playoffs. I have to agree with not having the most knowledgeable fans. In my section we had chicks making out, guys going on beer runs at key moments in the game. Most of the people through Henry was still running the ball in the 4th quarter.

  2. Kobe's a dumbass.  His wife is hot, and he stands to lose so much by doing this crap.  Why wasn't his wife with him?

    Questions I have:

    1. Why didn't they read him his rights?

    2. Why didn't he know his rights.  Why was he answering all those questions without having been read his rights.  He should've said, I'm not talking to you until my lawyer's present.

The girl was clearly starstruck and out for gain, but Kobe's a dumbass for letting it go that far.

At that point I don't think he was being charged with a crime. At the start of the transcripts Kobe didn't know why he was there. I think the police just called him in for some routine questions. The Miranda warning doesn't have to be given until the person admits guilt or is being arrested. In that case, this would be a custodial interview and he would have the right to a layer.

  3. I'm cutting back on college football this weekend.

Ohio State at North Carolina State ABC 3:30 p.m.

I'll be flipping back and forth through these games.

    UAB at Florida State ESPN2 6:30 p.m.

Notre Dame at Michigan State ESPN 7:00 p.m.

Florida at Tennessee CBS 8:00 p.m.

USC at BYU ESPN 10:00 p.m.

I grew up a Noter Dame fan and when i migrated down to Raleigh, i became an NC State fan. This week i'm looking for an BUY upset of USC.

  4. My aunt, who now does freelance graphic design in rochester, started her career in Disney. Before moving to the graphic department there (you can imagine how hard it is to break into graphic design at a place like Disney) she drove the monorail to make ends meet. Anyway, she told me how the "behind the scenes stuff" at Disney is actually all under ground. When you are walking down the streets of magic kingdom, there is basically another entire city underground. Shops, changing rooms, restaurants, etc, for all the employees.

She said the strangest would be to go down there on a break and see the characters with the full costume on, except for the head. She said a good amount were midgets, and you would see them, in a donald duck (for example) suit, smoking a cigerette and bitching, not stop, about the kids. She said if any kid walked around down there, they would have nightmares for the rest of their lives.

I wish she had taken pictures back then...

    Quick... someone call Geraldo Rivera.

  5. Yes, Walker did look pretty good and the O-line had a better day than v. BYU.  Hopefully signs of good things to come!

I think Ty is on the bubble this year and needs to show he can win with this team. It might take a winning season and a return to the top 25 for him to keep his job. They play a very beatable team in Michigan State (7pm ESPN). A win against them might bump the Irish back into the top 25.
