And Lee Evans really is not much of a threat unless you have time to throw to him down field, and since we DO NOT have that time, and have not all year, it's kind of absurd to pretend like we are just failing to get this guy involved in the offense. Lee Evans is a one trick pony. If you can't protect the QB long enough to throw it deep to him, he is a virtually non-existent threat. Thus he is having one of the worst seasons I can ever remember for such a highly touted player.
Didn't he have a slant that he took in for a score? Maybe a little more of that would help utilize him

considering about 2/3 of your posts are about one topic, I'd say,
Ya,
You do
you sure about that 2/3 Sherlock

You have an agenda, so anything further you say regarding this topic lacks merit.
The fact of the matter is that our line sucks and so does our "pop warner" offensive game plan, and most starting QB's in this league would fail on this team.
We have one QB in Trent that has lost all confidence in the O-line and himself that he has regressed terribly and isn't able to scan the field the way he once was able to. The other QB Fitz has a better feel for the rush but really doesn't have the time to make plays and is having a hard time finding anything that resembles a rhytm.
Unless we get some superstar QB we will continue to having these results, or the more likely scenario for a better offense, get some Offensive Tackles that can pass protect and an experienced, proven and successful offensive coordinator that can put our QB's in a position to succeed.
I do?

I think Trent missed the game, he was home watching Ryan Leaf highlitesThe reason for the post I remembered that Trent is a Drew Brees fan, I hope he was watching the game and learned some things about throwing the ball with a little faith that the WR's will make a play.....simply a joy to watch Brees play, think he is just as good as Manning and maybe a better leader of his team.

No one was adequate in any preseaon game, how could this guy possible be worse,Uhhh yes he can. He wasn't even adequate in the 4th qtr of preseason games.he could crap himself on the field and it wouldn't be worse

I don't get the Bills on tv. But I do see the highlight videos etc.
redundant

Depends when the big guy upstairs calls you home
-
He by far our best QB.
define far

Ralph hiring an older guy could be possible but also an older guy who is already a GM..or has GM experience would mean more $$$ which we all agree Ralph does not like to spend....
Another possibility may be inhouse..and is older..but likely not demand top pay......Buddy Nix who came over from San Diego last year
He could get Matt Millen at a discount price, he was very successful

Parrish.

If our dreams did come true, the real question would be who's #2 T.E. or Fitzy? The Chroisen One can cause he spreads the ball around and makes our dreams come true...
-
That explains itseriously? -
Lets all ignore the fact that Trent was running the no-huddle abortion...
and the correlation of the no-huddle and sacks is?
-
Obviously the O-line steps it up for FitzyFitz sacked 4 times in 3 games.T.E. sacked 19 times
-
If Trent was playing for the Saints and Brees was on the Bills what would happen?I disagree completely, Trent Edwards play is the result of a horrid offensive line, bad coaching and a crappy offensive system. -
We could be 0-8. That's how.
Hamdan playing could take a 3-5 record and make it 0-8, now thats some kind of suckness
-
The first two Qb's have taken turns sucking big time this year and people won't shut up about themat this point i wish they'd play him, so when he sucks you guys would shut up about him. i mean, this has to be a new low...fans clamoring for the 3RD EFFING STRINGER.the only person who can make the bills better is ralph wilson. and he refuses to.
What makes you think that the third stringer talk will stop if he sucks?
-
You must be enjoying this misery we are going through on sundays, you are asking for even more playing Hamden.
Seriously, How could we have more misery than what we've seen so far?
-
You let Edwards start the next 7 games or so see what he has down the stretch. Basically give the new Coaching staff 7 or so more games of film on Edwards to see if he is the answer or not.
Because 30 isn't enough?
-
I don't know, they may look for the same things in a QB, I mean I know that right now he isn't showing much but Holmgren may prefer a QB of that style to develop. Wait what's wrong with me, I just realized I am one of those "TE needs more development guys." Ugh, going to cry in a closet now.
Wasn't one of Walsh's beliefs is that you know if a QB is good after 30 starts?, well Trents at 30 and,,,
-
This is one of the reasons I like Holmgren here. He was a QB coach under Bill Walsh, who loves TE so there may lay some similarities between Holmgren and Walsh which could help TE (That is assuming he's still here next year). Just a reminder, Holmgren coached Montana, Young, Favre, and Hasselbeck. You know that as soon as he started here QB would be priority number 1.
So ol Bill loved Trent and Holgren coached with ol Bill so Holgren would love Trent?
-
And if he plays like he did in the other 27 games of his career?Kyle Orton in Denver.IF Edwards could play like he did vrs Miami/Oak/SD in years past every other week we would be fine at QB. Maybe Gruden can get that out of him...
-
bringing in holmgren is like bringing in chuck knox 25 years ago. ralph has done this and hopefully will do it once more.
Ralph doesn't remember

My guess is the Redskins is his team of choice. Though Buffalo fits his fortay of bringing a team back out of the shadows an into the sun.
more like total darkness
Who should be at QB?

Its articles like that, that put the fear of god into our opponents,
how can anyone prepare for a game against two outstanding QB,
each one creates a whole series of problems.
