I like Fitz but his accuracy is not that of a playoff caliber QB. Can he improve this at his (young) age?
you mean like Farve?

I mean we will be in the bye week after the Jags kill us, so I wonder who Ralph will offer up to try and appease the fans? My Guess is the DC and when he does I hope the DC comes out and tells how crappy it really with that front office and what a joke it is.
Ralph doesn't care, he knows their a joke. I think were at the point a few rolling heads won't appease the fans, the crap on the field over rides any scapegoat he can come up with.

for a future 4th round pick......AND now need to draft a RB....
Good thing we kept the 30 year old JACKSON who will do NOTHING for the Bills once they are competitive again.....
WOW
Since Fred will be 70 when the Bills get competitive its irrelevent

I prefered to watched Losman play it was like watching a car wreck, while Trent is like watching paint dryI think he steps into his rightful role as a backup QB. He is not god awful like Losman. Edwards can play well enough in the preseason to earn a roster spot. He does it every year.
-
With Trents second benching in the last two years the end is here. So when will the inevitable
debate begin. Who had a better "career" as a Bill, Losman or Edwards, I know its like debating whats better a toothache or a hemmoroid but as Bills fans we somehow like doing this.

I think their defensive scheme for Sunday is "Show up."
It was until this announcement, with Fitzy starting the Pats coaching staff will be burning
the midnight oil finding ways to stop him
-
can you imagine if the Bills announced their starting lineup during the week and there was no QB?
Is this a set up line?
-
I hope Trent starts the second half, we need to get back in this game

grover clevelandWhat's the name of the course near UB? I played there once w/my brother who said the US Open was held there in the early 1900s. -
grew up playing Elma and Delaware park, best course I played was Torrey Pines South, the best course I played where golf is secondary to the scenery is the Nicklaus Breckenridge Colorado muni course. So aside from the great courses we've played around the world, what are your favorite courses in WNY?My "home courses" (the ones I'm most familiar with) are Dande Farms CC and Elma Meadows. Probably the most fun I've ever had was at the Links at Ivy Ridge. Buffalo Tournament Club is a promising course, but it's still relatively new and underfinished (fairways are wispy and bare is the biggest problem).

Trent Edwards is heads and shoulders better than the other 3.
like a gold medal winner at a special olympics event

Link? And if true, pony up the draft pick. But Schobel isn't a 4-3 OLB.
No link, NFL guru John McClain on Houston radio came up with this, he's usually on target but this sounds way off
-
One thing I do not understand is that many posters on this board have assumed since the Bills switched to the 3-4 that Schobel would be an OLB.
What makes all of you come to that conclusion? Ok, Schobel has played in a 4-3 as a pro for most of his career, but the first 2 seasons of his career he played in the Bills 3-4 scheme as a DE.
If Schobel did not think he was going to be playing as a DE for the Bills this year, then I think he would have officially retired a long time ago.
If Schobel returns to the Bills this season, even though those chances look extremely slim now, he will be a DE.
The Texans are interested in Schobel to fill in for Cushing at OLB while he does his drug suspension. Then use him for depth on the DL, situational use like 3rd and long.

way to kill a good rantDon't let any misinterpretation of this actual non-event disturb the outrage....... -
I don't get why its a big deal, the airport was too small for Air Force One, the president and family flew in on a Gulfstream
and the presidents staff with the dog flew in on a separate private plane

Since the Bills franchise has been in the toilet for the last 10 years, ranking the QB's against each other seems futile, the argument becomes who's line is worse, who had the worst receivers, etc., and for the most part they all had crap teams. I'll just rank them against their peers, personal best QB NFL rankings.
1 Bledsoe 2nd ranked QB in NFL 2002
2 Flutie 10th 1999
3 Losman 18th 2006
4 Johnson 24th 2000
5 Edwards 25th 2008
6 AVP 30th 2001
7 Fitz 32nd 2009
Thats depressing and except for Bledsoe and Flutie embarassing

The movie "Braveheart" was loosely based on him as well. Quite a guy
didn't he play Paul's uncle in a Hard Days Night?

Ah, the LaRouche loons....
They have the SAME EXACT displays out in front of the Post Office near my office. They show up about once a month.
They took their "Bush is Hitler" materials and just photoshopped in Obama once he was elected.
Fun group.
They seem like a fun bunch
