    Gotta love Bills fans.

We just signed a player with a lot of starting experience to be a depth guy, and posters are acting like Beane is dumber than a bag of rocks for doing so.

    LOL.

that because they want 53 all pro's, when it just doesn't work that way

This thread is fun for keeping an eye on what other teams are doing, and for daydreaming.

But my money is on Beane NOT bringing in any of these guys. Unfortunately.

if Beane thinks the guy is an upgrade he will...  he's done it before.

I think you're right.  I think they were concerned about Dodson's ability to cover the run and not get sucked in by PA, and how to handle the coverage responsibilities he couldn't manage the way Pteredactyl Arms could.

Dodson has been a leader on a top ST unit - I think he has the green dot on ST - so I don't think they anticipated any leadership and communication issues there.

You're correct, but on the other hand we've seen it before that a guy is a Preseason Hero and Squibbs on Sunday in the regular season.

the preseason hero's of the past didn't really have the coaching staff saying as many good things about them as this guy though....   if they do keep him I like have more then just one fast guy though. if shorter doesn't show something this week I would say it looking good for him.

don't know yet whether the practice is open or not.  Last practice before Bills travel to Pittsburgh for game on Saturday

Good news on Gabe Davis if he's actually better.  Disagreement on Baylon Spector.  Parrino says he's back, Capaccio says "will not practice"

It's official.  Even McDermott thinks it's a problem:

If that's so, then why did his first 2 teams dump him, the first after he couldn't get on the field for a season and a half?

Is he just a practices like Tarzan, plays on Sunday like Jane type of guy?

sometimes a scheme fits player better on other teams...   sometime it takes a player longer to mature, and learn what it takes...who know what the reason but if he can play welcome to buffalo.

Subpar drafts are the main reasons why we haven’t won it all yet. Drafting and retaining on the roster is a huge factor in continued success.

    2019 Oliver & Knox (2/8).

2020 Epenesa, Davis, Bass, Jackson (4/7).

2021 Rousseau, Basham, Brown, Doyle, Hamlin (5/8).

2022 Elam, Cook, Bernard, Shakir, Benford, Spector (6/8).
17/31 draft picks remain on the team.

    2019 KC (1/6)

    2020 KC (5/6)

    2021 KC (6/6)

    2022 KC (10/10)

    Total 22/28

KC has been more efficient at drafting especially considering their disastrous 2019 draft class. It’s no wonder why they have stayed at the top of the AFC and have hosted the AFC Championship 5 consecutive seasons.

In order for the Bills to catch-up they must hit on a higher % of their draft class.

the percent mean a lot less than the quality of the payers you do hit on...

2020 Epenesa is a total miss as far as Im concerned. the last three are good to great picks... Hoping Davis reaches great status (if we want to win a SB this is a main must have this year)

Rousseau is the only guy from 2021 that's done much...maybe can add Hamlin seeing as he was a late round pick.

Same with 2022 nothing much so far. BUT Cook, Benford and Elam still have a chance to shine.

2023 the first picks have a great chance to be great.

    The anti-Gabe Davis.

Gabe is going to be fine this year.   I expect to see a big year from him esp based off his training camp performance

Might be a 1 horse race now for MLB.

Damn...   was looking forward to see him in the middle this weekend. sounds like he is going to be a better then avg cover LB. (and that based off the reports from training camp he seemed to alway have tight coverage on someone)

  7. we haven't even seen them play a game yet this year....yet everyone want to jump off the bridge.

Do you @newcam2012 have confidence in Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins providing adequate protection for Josh Allen? Better yet their backups

Dawkins yes, he has been good in the past why would I expect him to just suck now.
