Levi’s impending FA is a more applicable scenario to this discussion atm. Will we pay Levi or will someone pay him more? If he leaves, it will likely be a position of need in the draft unless we add some bargain FA vets. I don’t think we’ll be spending much cap space on his replacement if we let levi go.
Being back and playing at an all pro level are two very different things, it almost always takes two years to fully recover from an acl tear. We are going to need to draft a corner early next year . We are not in horrible shape but this is going to hurt the defense which means we need the offense to step up and start playing like they can every week.

we over used him last year and it caught up to us in the playoffs with our WR group all banged up... Rather have him healthy for a playoff run.

Compensation would be 3 first round picks but not the addition of the 2 nd round picks….. so how does Miami fill in a competitive team with no first round draft choices and a qb making huge money starting next year…. It just doesn’t make much sense…. Watson played great last year and won 4 games apparently he wants to do the same in Miami. Man that kid tua can’t feel wanted in Miami
