I think the exact opposite is happening. The Wildcat means the defense has to account for every offensive player. With a non-running QB, it's almost like 10 on 11. With the Wildcat, it's 11 on 11.

I could be completely wrong about the draft and I pray that I am, I am sick of this team sucking, but I don't have to agree with the decisions Buddy or anyone else makes. That is a Fan and every Americans right.
So, let's see. We have the right to freedom of speech, assembly and the press. We have the right to bear arms. And we have the right to be a Sally and whine on message boards ad nauseam until others ears bleed.
This thread keeps getting better. Let's rename it "Toshiero's Bill of Rights."

I agree. I'm sick and tired of Nix always letting us down. Is it too much to ask for a GM who will follow through on everything he says? Especially with all of Bills nation under the constant threat of the team moving to L.A. at any minute, the last thing we need is some guy who is only 98.2% able to do his job. I'm writing a letter.

Not to mention the draft is a crap shoot. So, you know, I'll take 50% on 10 picks over 50% on 8 picks.
I'm more disappointed in the fact that Nix doesn't have the balls or the vision to trade up and get a Blackmon- a Kuechly - a Kalil, or even Claiborne. Ya gotta pound the table for the blue chippers in this league. The thing is with the NFL draft is the further you go into it, the bigger percentage for failure you have. Its like guy at 5-7 are long shots to develop into anything, so why not trade those picks? Even Nix has a history of not finding the late round gems the last two years.
And I am pretty sure at least one of those "blue chippers" will bust out in the next few years.

The more I think about it the more I like the Gilmore pick better than if we had taken Floyd.
The Gilmore pick is looking better because there are a decent number of WR's and OT's left on the board. You can't find 6' 2" corners with 4.3ish speed that weigh 195 every day.
I suspect we go with OT in round 2 and possibly pick up Brian Quick in round 3. But we'll see what happens.
