YES! If you would be able to grab 2 for me and my friend, Hammer, I would REALLY appreciate it!
-
Try the Bills store at New Era. Hammered said they had them a few days ago
Ok. Probably too late to call tonight, I will call tomorrow AM. Thanks!
Just in case they don't, though, if someone has 2 extra, please let me know! I really appreciate it, guys!

Hey guys, I just got to my hotel and called around to the 3 Tops locations in Greece, Amherst, and Depew, and they are ALL SOLD OUT! GAAAA! So I just wanted to check here and see if there is any chance that they got more tickets than they may have needed, and I can grab 2 tickets from them at the stadium? This would be my first time ever at the stadium, so I'm pretty bummed I might be getting shut out here, hah.
Please let me know! Thanks!!

The tops i went to yesterday had tons left. So many that the woman at the service counter gave me double what I asked for.
There are no signs up anywhere advertising the tickets, so anyone who wants them has to be in the know. That should help.
Thanks for the heads up, it has backed me off the ledge... haha

Why were you unable to get tickets for the August 4th practice?? I plan on going to that one, but I won't be in the area until the evening of August 2nd as I live about 4 hours south-east, in Binghamton. I was just planning on running to a Tops in the 2nd, when I get in the area. Are they already all gone?? God I hope not, I planned my vacation around going to that practice it will be my first time ever getting into the stadium.Great News! I have received DMs from Jamie Nails and Ghosts of Bills Past, and I will now have tickets to the July 27 and Aug 4 practices!
Many thanks to these gentlemen.
I am so grateful for their generosity.
Astro
PS- sorry, I didn't mean to make this about me. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Astro, and I'm glad you will be able to get to those practices so we can read the recaps that we all enjoy so much.

Thanks a lot ALF, I really do appreciate it!

Good Morning- I have been looking online for the Bills to announce where they will be releasing their 2017 evening training camp tickets, but I cannot find them anywhere. I plan on going to Thursday, August 3rd, and Friday, August 4th, at the stadium.
This will be my first time ever at the stadium, so I'm pretty excited. The August 4th practice is a tickets-required practice though, and these are always free... but can anybody tell me where they are to be released? Usually it's a Topps or Noco or Verizon... any idea, yet?
I'd really appreciate the help!

why does it need to be a and/or scenario with Hodges.....coverage linebacker's in sub packages can be useful.....why not both?
I think for this reason, and if the coaching staff felt the same, it would be unlikely that he would come here to be a sub package 5th LB.

TE- O'Leary, or POSSIBLY even Clay, though that cap number might make that less likely... one of these cuts could be improved in likelihood with addition of Barnridge and/or emergence of Logan Thomas.

Yeah, I'm starting to chomp at the bit here, too- looking to start making plans for it, so just waiting on some concrete dates, here.
"Bad Things", the day practices couldn't be easier to get to. You just park your car at the local school and pay a buck to hop on the bus and shuttle the 8 minutes or so to TC, and then walk right in... no security bottlenecking things, no "you can't bring that in" crap, it easy. Maybe just bring a seat cushion. They have a substantial gift shop on site if you want to buy any merch, and I think they have a couple food items there, though I've never gotten anything.
If you sit at the grand stands near the tunnels that the players walk through, you will probably snag some autographs if you like... most likely to be successful when they exit the field after practice vs when they enter. Rex used to come up to the edge of the railing of the stands and sign stuff and take pics but that was an outlier, as Marrone before him didn't do that... I don't think either of them will be there this year, and McDermott doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would do that.
You will have a great time. The only complication is getting tickets for the evening practices, as I live 150 miles from Pittsford and another 50 miles from Buffalo, so when I go out there, I really have to make a concerted effort to find out what place still has (always free) tickets for that evening's practices. It's usually a Sunoco, or Noco, or maybe Price Chopper or Verizon locations in the past. I usually just end up doing the day practices, because it's less crowded, anyways. Good luck, though, maybe I'll see you there!

Don't these "adults" have cars?

All things being equal between him and Tolbert and a few other guys on the bottom of the RB depth chart, Fred gets the benefit of the doubt. I want Fred at St.JF for TC, so I can get his autograph before he retires!

Overdorf? Not me bro, I just try and pass along the scraps of info I get, when I get them, lol.
I'm kinda jealous honestly, he knows a crapload of what's going on inside the FO, the guy is one of the only holdovers from the last regime.

So, let's pretend that the KC trade was actually our #10 this year for their #26 this year (I think that's what it was), their 4th rounder this year, their 1st rounder next year, and Jeremy Maclin, at 1/2 to 1/3 of his contract. That feels even better.
-
Why would we have to wait until after AW's post-june 1st relief? We still have at least 8 million in cap room, and Barnidge can't be getting more than 2.5m- at most. The cap relief after June 1st will happen reguardless, signing him won't effect that, so the only thing that I could see is maybe there is another team or two that are tighter to the cap, and are waiting for their June 1st relief to increase their room, to be able to sign him, and the Bills are just being used as a negotiating chip, or a plan B or C, if those other teams fall through.

.
Who does he remind you of??
I have not clicked on this link, but the highlight video that I did watch a year ago makes me think that he reminds me of Travis Henry. No real top-end speed, but quick through the hole. Henry was an effective goal-line back because of this... hopefully that's AT LEAST what Williams is, and more, because he will likely be the first in line to back up Shady.
Note: I'm not saying Henry was ONLY a goal-line back, as he ran for some good yardage a couple seasons in a row, but I specifically remember him having a "nose for the end zone", punching it in frequently.

Might be a nod to player safety?
Most likely, yeah. It would allow for an even bigger disadvantage if you were to play a knock-down, drag-out 75 minutes of football on a Sunday evening, and then have to play another game on Thursday night... Maybe even against a team who played in a blowout on Sunday, so they only played about 40 meaningful snaps.
-
Oh, and Schwartz got (rightfully) roasted for being carried off the field after a win vs his former team... how badly roasted to Kay get, if he did that now-a-days, on a 14 loss team, after one of their wins?
-
Geez, I've never seen him run, but Bell carrying that ball is a nightmare... one ha dead, out away from his body... I won't be looking it up, but he HAD to have a higher than average fumbling issue.
-
He also reported the "playoffs in 2016 or you're fired" idea... which, whether he had the story right or was just spitballing, he got right.
-
Hah this sounds messy, like a PR nightmare. If Buffalo did this, they would be railed for their "disfunction"... so maybe we should keep this in mind, that every franchise does things that the fans might not like.

I'll play.
White was Imo the 2nd best CB period, in a highly talented n deep CB class. Almost like the 2014 WR class. He's an immediate starter and is no "meh" cb. He can flat out play, and proved that for 4 years versus the best competition in the country. For u's to land him, a 3rd and 1st next year is an A++. Great instincts, ball skills, extremely versatile , great coverage skills, always turns his head while ball is in air and a natural leader. We got an absolute steal at 27. Instant starter.
Zay was arguably the 3rd best WR, and not far off from Williams /Davis imo. He's 6'2 and is super quick on his feet and with his hands , has great instincts and like White, has great leadership qualities. Not to mention a perfect compliment to Sammy Watkins. Will make defenses pay for doubling #14. I see some AJ Green in his game but that's obviously best case scenario, another instant starter.
Dawkins is a bulldog. People claim he's too short at tackle but it's all about leverage and his arm length is the ideal length for a tackle. He's quick, versatile, intelligent and I think his smaller height mixed with his arm length will be an advantage against certain pass rushers. He can be quicker to the point of attack. While I'm not yet labeling him an instant starter, I feel he will easily beat out Mills, thus giving us an absolute beast of an already dominant oline, And if he doesn't work out at RT, which again, would suprise me, we have Richies replacement at G.
Milano ,man I suggest watching some of his tape. I think he could end up being the steal of the draft . A bit undersized but still a thumper with great instincts ( see a trend here?). Above average speed and agility. I don't see him beating out Zo, Reggie or Brown but I do see him having a definitive role on this team and is much needed depth at LB.
Peterman , I'm not a huge fan of the pick because I feel Taylor is the long term answer but I don't hate it. there's no denying he was the most pro ready QB in the draft and at worse I feel we got us a young back up QB to develop and groom.
Don't know enough about our last pick to even write anything but even so , this was a home run of a draft and I agree with Kiper and McShay that it was the best draft in a LONG time...
Thanks for the explanation. I hope you're right on that, or even half of that, and we'll be okay.

I am not really a pessimistic person... but I didn't really care for our draft, but I see a lot of people talking highly of it. When I look at it, I see a meh CB, but that helped us get a 1st round pick next year so I take that as a win. I see a 3rd given up to secure a 2nd round WR who looks to have some talent, or at the very least, great production against poor competition. I see 3 picks given up to secure a guy who might be a backup OL, and at best part of a RT rotation where he might or might not be playing out of position. Then later on, it's two 220lb linebackers, and one late round QB, who by many accounts could be a solid backup, so that isn't a bad pickup in the 5th round. Am I missing something on these guys? I just feel really "meh" about this draft.
Can you guys tell me why you loved the draft so much?

I could be wrong, this sounds like a we want our guys

Eh, I get what you're saying, and there is truth to the idea that execution of short routes will prove ultimately successful, but the best passing teams have receivers who can both get open in the short game, and run past the defense when they try to play up to prevent the short stuff.
I remember a few years ago, when we had the functional Gailey offense, and when we didn't have speed on the field, and teams knew Fitz couldn't throw it deep to the edges, it killed the running game because the safeties knew nobody was going over top of them with Sammy, Jones, and Nelson on the field.
If the safeties actually have to play centerfield to keep the top on the defense, that is what opens up the underneath routes, and the run game with the safeties not up in the box, acting as 2 extra linebackers. If the focus is primarily the short pass and there is little threat of the deep ball, than almost NO passing game is accurate and efficient enough to beat that reliably enough to get down the field and score 7's at a game-winning pace.
