Great game guys. Unfortunately both offenses looked absolutely dreadful. Shocking that Bortles had so many rushing yards. Bills have such a bright future. Defense is legit. If Bortles plays that way next game, no chance they win. Good luck next season. Thanks again for the welcome.

Duck and cover, bills fans are about to be a little less nice than they have all week. I would run away now if I were you hah

  2. This is awesome. I saw a Twitter post from I think Sal earlier today saying that with the cheifs sitting at a tie atop their division, they would give us about the 25th pick in the first round. If they miss the playoffs, however, with the exact same record, we get about the 15th pick... BURN KC BURN! How great would it be if we squeaked into the playoffs ourselves (BURN TITANS!) plus got the #11 pick from the KC trade?? There should be a decent QB available at 11, but that's also shouting distance to get up to about the 5th pick without mortgaging the future of the franchise, which would likely have to happen if we finish with the 20th and 25th picks, instead, and still try to trade up to 5-ish.

  3. It's interesting that this is now possible, but (forgive my ignorance) doesn't this not really do anything except confirm a suspicion? There is no cure, or really treatment, for this, so maybe it would just keep the doctors from chasing after other diseases effecting the patient and at least put a name on what's ailing the patient, but still not fix it, right?

  4. Although I can't see it and hope it doesn't happen because I think he's a good player, I think the choice to release Clay at a spot we still are thin, vs. a 5th tackle in Conor McDermott reflects that Glenn is definitely in play as available. Doesn't guarantee anything, but this says something about them not wanting to cut into their depth at a position they might be trading a player from.

  5. Watkins 6 catches 106 yards and 2 TD's

    Woods 6 catches 108 yards

    Goodwin 2 catches 62 Tds

Robey 3 tackles 1 INT, 1 fumble recovery.

Could we use these guys on the team? It hurts to see this but hopefully we get a QB next year because this year will be a long nightmare.

Goodwin's skills seem invaluable with this team, 62 touchdowns on only 2 catches? How can we teach our WRs to score touchdowns without needing the ball, because I don't think catches will come in high numbers this year, but I would still like points.

  6. Is this "swap bad contracts" thing a running joke, on here, that I missed, or do SO FEW people understand that this IS NOT a thing. In a different sport, yes, you could trade Ellsbury's bad contract for Pujols' bad contract, and the money would wash... but the NFL is completely different. If Dareus is traded, we would have his cap figure due BY US increase by four million to $20-$22M, PLUS have to take on whatever base salary was due to Luck, probably $15-$20M. So, we trade a guy making $16M and suddenly our room under the cap goes from around $7M all the way to -$12M to -$17M. Super.

  7. Not that I think it would happen, but... say Tyrod is not ready for the beginning of the season and Peterman gets the nod week 1. He does well, and wins. Maybe Tyrod needs another week, and Peterman wins week 2. How many consecutive wins would Peterman need before he passes Tyrod as the starter, in the coach's eyes, and remains the starter even after the original #1 returns, ala Romo-Prescott?

Not saying Peterman has those skills, though.

But it sure would be great if Peterman really was The Guy, and we could spend two 1sts, two 2nds, and possibly 3 3rds on building pieces around him, instead of using it as trade-up ammo to get The Guy.

  8. Does anyone know... What if the Bills want to play the game of chicken by cutting him by week 10, but he gets injured on week 6? Doesn't his presence on season-ending IR make his contract guaranteed for the whole season? What if they IR and then release with an injury settlement, are they then out of the woods? It seems like a dangerous game of chicken to keep him... I say just get the roster down to 51 or 52 guys on cutdown day, including Ducasse, Holmes, and the DE, and then pick up the best WR that gets cut by another team. Don't chance it.
