  1. 1) Kyle Williams was off the hook in the first half, played like a pro bowler

    2) Donte Whitner played like a pro bowler the whole game. Laid some nice hits, played good in coverage, caused Megatron to have alligator arms on a big 4th qrtr play

    3) Freddie J fights for every yard

    4) Suh who? Good job Wood

    5) They have Kelsay playing DE about 60% of the time and he looks MUCH more comfortable there.

    6) Arthur Moats applied a lot of pressure and forced some throws

    7) After that wide open completion to the slot receiver on 4th down in the 4th quarter for 20 some yards, you could see Florence chewing out Reggie Corner who must have missed his assignement.

    8) Fitzpatrick's stats looks sub-par yesterday, but he was one or two drops away from having a TD or two and an extra 100 yards extra

  2. You should seriously have a talk with your fiance about the option of abortion. My advice would be to wait until you have a career or at least a steady job before playing grownup. The financial and emotional toll that just one child brings is gigantic.

Also, why marry so young? Play the field a bit to really see the variety of women that are out there for you and with which you might have greater compatibility. Don't just pick the first girl who decides to put out. Also, as most young adults get older, they undergo a lot of personality changes from age 20 or so until 30.

This guys is retarded...if you are 21, i would slightly agree, but otherwise, don't listen to him. being a father offers 50x's more rewards than playing the field ever could.

  3. If cavemen could do it, so can you...You will be fine. Be like a lizard and be ready to adapt to all situations, and not have a schedule. actually the first 6 months may be the easiest because it sleeps all the time, so it will give you ample time to adjust. Be prepared to be sleep deprived, that is the only warnng i can give you. Sometimes the baby's grandma's still think they are mom's and you need to kindly remind them to let you be. There are a million different ways to raise a kid, none of them being exactly right. Have fun

  4. I had to use prednisone for bad asthma as a kid and my early twenties over a dozen times total. Once in my twenties I was using the medication for asthma while lifting, it made a big difference. would normally work out with 3 sets of 10 at 225, with the roids, did 3 sets of 12 at 245... i couldnt believe it, it felt so light, and then put 2 n 2 togetehr realizing the roids made the big difference (and i was only on them for 2 weeks). It DOES help. Merriman will not be the same without them.

  5. I posted the following about my deciding to root for the Packers. Don't hate me. At least it's not the Steelers, Dolphins, Patriots, or even my hometown Browns:

This is one big reason why I'm having a hard time watching the NFL anymore.

What we're seeing in Buffalo may eventually kill the franchise...or force it to move. We all know the economic troubles the country is having. And it's much worse in both NE Ohio and WNY.

It's also why if I'm going to root for one certain NFL team from now on, it's the Packers, for the following reasons:

    a) They will never move. I will walk through hell in a gasoline suit before I go through that again (to paraphrase Pete Rose).

    b) The stadium. Lambeau Field is for REAL fans. All the club seats and luxury boxes are at the top of the stadium, which means the best fans are on top of the action, and the rich people get the crappy seats.

    c) The tailgating. Simply great, one of the three best in the league (along with Buffalo and KC).

    d) They seem to be somewhat fan-friendlier than other NFL teams, probably because of the stock ownership setup. The Browns certainly aren't.

    e) Success in recent years. I think this year's been a blip on the radar screen.

    f) Great, great history. Only the Bears come close.

    g) Most of an entire state (and many across the nation) support the team.

    h) They are more dependent upon the fans than other teams, as most of their supplementary income is through Pro Shop sales (visit their website here.), stadium tours, concessions, and Curly's Pub restaurant at Lambeau, which is open year-round.

    i) The Packers, in order to increase their income, are looking at purchasing property around the stadium for further development. A hotel/waterpark and parking garages have been discussed if the Packers buy additional surrounding property. All the more to compete with the Cowboys' new palace that Jerry Jones is mortgaging his team for.

    ij They will never move.

    k) Stadium is on the fringes of a residential neighborhood, with smart looking ranch houses...similar to OP, but quite a bit more built up. Two blocks from the stadium looks like my hometown of Rocky River, Ohio; except for the green and gold fire hydrants and the signs that say "No Parking on Game Days".

    l) Bars and restaurants all around, most notably Favre's steakhouse and the Stadium View Bar.

    m) They will never move.

    n) A Hall of Fame inside the Lambeau Field Atrium. I went to the old one the only time I was up in Green Bay, in 1998. I hear the new one is much bigger and nicer.

    o) Did I mention that the team will NEVER, EVER move? Sorry, but that's a big one for me.

...so I will be rooting for Green Bay tomorrow. You can see by my avatar, which was taken at the Packers-Browns game in Cleveland last year. If you had told me in 1990 that I would not be a Browns fan because they had left, I probably would have laughed and said no way. And then there was the Bills.

...and now, to many of you, I am a Packers troll. Despite the fact I've been here almost eight years.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I must really like you people. :)

In other words, your a poser bandwagon fan, why not follow the detroit lions which most of those conditions apply for? Thats right, they dont win, and it doesnt look cool to wear their gear. I sport my Bills gear in NJ all the time because i don't care whether they win or lose, I'm a Bills fan and find pride in what they do good, defense, secondary, run game etc. We have a retard at QB, thats the only thing that separates us from GB right now.

  6. being a true fan does not = always picking them to win. frankly, i'd bet the house on the pack tomorrow. doesn't make me less of a fan whatsoever.

i'm willing to bet you're giving bills fans a bad name by sounding delusional.

I bet the house for the Patriots to win the superbowl vs the measly ol Giants. Pats were 13.5 pt favorites if i recall. Anything can happen on any given sunday

Most posters on the nfl sites are kool-aid drinking trolls. I wouldn't waste your time arguing anything over there. Its nice to stick up for your team, but as people have said... Pack are making a run for the SB, and the Bills are in reconstruction. I don't think it will be long for the Bills to be good as long as the start drafting better, but tommorow's game, set, match unless there's divine intervention... angels in the outfield style

our defense will give them a run for their money varsity vs varsity, however our offense is like the 8th grade offense going against the varsity defense.

  7. problem with this scenario is that both McNeil and Jackson want to be paid like top tier players, hence the reason they are holding out. We usually trade away our players in thos situations ALA Jason peters. Pat Williams wanted to be paid we shipped him out, and created a hole for the last 7 years we have been trying to fill. London Fletcher wanted to be paid, we drafted the oft-injured Pozloseme

  8. I was watching some "Classic Bills" clips on Youtube the other day

I was struck by the huge difference in how the OL played vs. our current OL.

Compared to this line, it seemed as though Kelly had all day to go through his progressions.

When the defense has to worry about a pass deeper than 10 yards, this is the result, you get more space and breathing room.

  9. Word

Fitz gives us the best chance to win. Brohm still may price to be an average NFL qb. Something Trent is not. Cut him. The guy is a panzy

I agree, Fitz may not be an all star athlete, in fact i think he is a notch below edwards in this category, however, he is three notches above edwards in terms of his timing and getting the ball out to the "open" receiver. I liek Fitz decision making better. Edwards last play of the game says it all to me. Game is on the line, you have nothing to lose, 3 wr'S STREAKING DEEP, and 2 shallow, he throws the ball to David Nelson for a gain of 6 when we have 80 yards to go in 5 seconds. That says it all to me, he's a pansy who cares about his stats. Your coach takes a safety to give you another opportunity to score, and he throws it incomplete 3 times in a throw, then throws a 6 yard dump off pass on 4th down. It makes you want to puke. i feel sorry for every Bills fan, and every player on the team having to go through this bad quarterback era of the Bills.

Edwards talks the talk, and talks a great game, even produces in preseason on Ocassion, but when it comes time to produce on the field and earn your money, he's a sever underperformer.

  10. I was at the game, and just like last year was yelling throw the ball... Guys were open. Were they open by a mile, NO? but who is in the NFL. The Nfl has small windows of opportunity for a WR and if u hesitate for a half second, u miss them. Edwards second guesses ad doubt what he sees, adn ends up holding onto the ball too long. TO used to get the most separation of any Bills WR i have ever seen last year due to his route running abilities, and Edwards still refused to throw it. After yesterdays game i am not high pn Edwards and he really holds this offense back. He is the weak link for the entire team. Confidence and slow decision making can't really be coached or corrected by watching film. IMO

  11. Any handicapper or serious Bills fan knows Trent struggled vs any 3-4 defense. IMO that should be the biggest improvement this year for the Off, simply that they will be prepared to face a 3-4. Word on the street was that the scout team D rarely ran the 3-4, and didn't start doing it until fewell took over as head coach IIRC. This little change alone should account for a couple of extra wins this season. I predict 8 wins. If our D plays as dominantly as they can, maybe a 9 win season. As Trent goes, the team goes. In Gailey I trust.

For what its worth, last time Edwards played Miami last October, he was sacked 6 times, and threw 3 picks, talk about not being able to pick apart the defense.
