I can't decide about the guy, he is a lot like Evans 6 years ago IMO but he does come back to the ball if need be and is better running after the catch (from what I have seen of him). The money is something that could be taken care of after the season unless I am mistaken. Get the details done when you pick him up and make a promise? Does that make sense? A number one is a lot but he is young and very good. "Handing a 1st round pick to a conference opponent", yeah 50/50 there.On the fence about that too.U really have to think about it, would you trade D Whitner, M Lynch, Leodis Mckelvin, Aaron Maybin, CJ Spiller, M Dareus(no to Dareus) yes to all the others. Look at our success rate, are any of them franchise players contributing to the team right now? Greenbay has had 2 well paid WR's in Jennings and Driver on the team at the same time, as did New England while Moss was on the team.

The move would make sense, if we had a qb that could throw a good deep ball. We don't.
The Deep Ball was there when TO ran his go routes every game...remember a receiver can make his qb look better than he is.

Proven guy, he's 25, perfect speed guy opposite shifty possession oriented Steve Johnson, ready to produce. Most rookie WR'd do NOT contribute yer #1. I dont see a better way we could spend our #1 pick and get the most bang for our buck. Fill a glaring hole at #2 or 1b however you call it, and the guy is proven, the bust factor is minimal. Only downside is he would require a newcontract very soon, bjt who cares let's be in it to win it. Lets surround Fitz with everything he needs to be successful and give this our best shot of getting into Post season!

when u have a backup QB making 50million overthrowing and underthrowing receivers, deep short and medium, its hard to have any confidence. Matt Moore looks to be a better QB than Fitz, and he's the backup

What has this guy EVER shown, to be a starting WR in the NFL? He was the weak link on offense.

My little brother who was in his early teens in the late 90's ran into him post game as they were there watching the game with the bills strength and conditioning coach. The 13 yr old "kids" started saying his name when he saw them and he replied out loud "Goddamn kids". He's a dick

Sorry guys, couldn't agree less ... This is about building something and while a playoff appearance would be nice, I wouldn't sacrifice youth and playing time to secure a first-round exit. This team needs to experience and grow together.
This isn't madden football, you play to win now...You would rather try and develop undrafted donald jones and journeyman ruvell martin over bringing in a proven WR to help the offense and make the playoffs? C'mon

TO is 300% better than Donald Jones. I watched the guy play live for the Bills every home game, and I have never seen a better route runner or someone who gets so much separation from defenders. remember he and Fitzmagic had a spark together.

We are featuring "No Hands" Donald Jones with empty backfield on 1st and 5 rather than team mvp Fred Jackson in the backfield.
Chan feed the ball to your play makers I can remember 3 INTs as a direct result of Jones's inability to catch a ball. We need a WR BADDDDDDDD. Stevie Johnson's head was still on Chippewa this game. McKelvin and Florence played like sheet as well.

Sunday was great but, honestly I think the Dallas MNF game was the craziest ever. Maybe because we were winning early there. Brady shut us up pretty good the first half.

Agreed MNF in 07 was like you heard it int he 4th quarter for the whole game, plus a little louder on defense. 4th quarter of that game when we were on defense (MNF) was the loudest I have seen, and I have been to Hundreds of games since the Late 90's.
