One of the great things about this show is that you can't let any detail go by, no matter how trivial. I can understand people who don't get it -- it's a cult show and someting of a mindgame -- but the rest of us are entitled to it.
I think that, in true 24 spirit, the whole Defense Secretary kidnapping is a red herring. We still don't know what this season's big risk/hazard/mission. In past years we knew (or thought we knew) from the start: the Palmer assassination, the nuclear bomb, and the virus.
Tru dat. I suspect nuke bomb in DC at height of congressional activity.

You've got to spread this sh-- out a bit. You're going to blow your wad, and there's still 7 months of bashing to go in the off season.

Pitt is generally regarded as the best offensive line in football. This works for the running game and obviously in the QB protection scheme. Working behind that offensive line with a Staley/Bettis duo of backs would help any rookie QB.
I lean towards Bledsoe as the starter next year. But, I would like to see a competition in camp for the QB spot. My opinion is that Bledsoe would win such a competition, but who knows?
-
Curiously, Eric Moulds has not asked for an open competition for the #1 receiver next year. And for that matter, neither has Bledsoe.

How do you argue with this kind of logic?
Where do you come up with this kind of brilliance?
This had to be after too many apple martinis.
Anybody ever heard of Dr. Irwin Corey? He's posting under this guy's name.
(Pssst, I think we've finally jumped the shark in the Bledsoe bashing category)

Wait a minute. That's 12-4 with Bledsoe at quarterback?
Some of you Bledsoe bashers need to rethink your numbers.
I"ll give y'all another shot. Try again.

I think your credibility, which has already been teetering on the precipice here for a few days, has finally fallen off into the abyss.
Try to separate what you'd like to have happen, from what really has happened.

With no Ty Law and Poole....they really have no chance of stopping indys passing attack! Im sure Bellicheck will keep them in teh game with his schemes but no way will teh Pats be able to cover Harrisson, Wayne, and Stokely while them worrying about Clark and James out of teh backfield.
The pats will score as well, but indy will just score more making it impossible for teh Pats to have solid coverage for 4 qtrs.
Now i know everyone will say, they have done it for months without these guys which is true, but the teams they have played arent the colts and will not be able to stop that prolific passing attack with Earthwind Mooreland and troy Brown in coverage LOL!
Bye patsies
Corey Dillon and Brady dink/dunk will keep Indy's O off the field. I agree, Indy should win, but it's not in a Dome. Should be a great game.

How sad is it when you have to look for bad things that Bledsoe wasn't directly responsible for in order to prove "it's not his fault."
Again, no one is letting Travis Henry or the defense off the hook. But those simply aren't the big issues this off season, and for good reason. Henry's position was upgraded. The defense finished in the top 3 defenses statistically.
There were bad times for everyone this season. It's just depressing when you have to go hunt for those in order to say "Well, it wasn't ALL Drew."
There's nothing sad or depressing about the post that you've tried to marginalize. It's called supporting an argument, or refuting a generalization, with facts.

I like the show. The 2 back to back 2 hour episodes Sun and Mon should be a nice kickoff for it. I just hope it doesn't go to Tuesday nights after that. That's basketball night and I always miss the first 10-15 min(tough show to do that on)

I believe they're trying to break a Guinness book of records mark.
It's got to be getting pretty close by now.
Go for it fellas, I'll clear out for a few days to give you more space to attack this
record.
Good luck!

Trade Bledsoe to Dallas for anything. A set of shiny new goal posts, whatever.
Start Losman.
Five to six years of instant AFC East dominance. 3 of the next 5 Super Bowls..woo hoo!
-
I think it's a real possibility that Bledsoe could go to Dallas. A change of scenery can rejuvenate a QBs career. When Bledsoe came here he added 5 wins to the teams' previous total, passed for 4300 yards, went to the Pro Bowl, and broke 10 franchise passing records.
I bet Dallas would take that. And if you believe the fans opinions on this board he clearly has few backers in the fan base. I think he probably should move along.
I'm not sure JP will be ready, maybe a 3 way deal for Warner for 1 or 2 years.
