  1. Watching my dvr'd Lions game... and Brohm damn well needs to be the #2 QB going into the season. Period.

Trent hasn't done anything to lose the #1 spot; so he'll stay there. But, Brohm looked to make much, much quicker decisions and had geat velocity on his passes. He looks like an NFL QB out there. Not to mention, on the one jailbreak, he dumps off to the TE to avoid the sack. The TE falls down and doesn't catch the pass. And Brohm gets on him about it! Imagine that... a QB showing some emotion on the field.

IMO, all Brohm needs to be better than Trent is more playing time. He's got all the tools; he just needs experience to gain consistency. If he listed as #2, I could see him taking Trent's job by the end of the season - if/when Trent goes down with an injury.

I just watched my DVR'd game as well. I just don't see the issues that people were complaining about Brohm with this game. The pass to Foschi was fine. The int was on Foschi. Personally, I would keep Brohm as the #2. Nothing against Fitz, but we have already seen the best he is going to be. I would rather see what we can get from Brohm over the long haul.

  2. Y'all wrapping yourselves in the flag and your feelgood expressions of "tolerance"....yeah...cant wait for the next three pages of posts mocking the Pope next time he happens to comment on some news item or for the next clown to take a trip to some city down south and whine that "there are too many churches."

You are all so full of ****, your eyes are brown.

You really need to get the sand out of your vagina.

  3. Yep. 'cause that's how I roll.

I got away from it for years (of course), but when they came out with final release -version 9. I switched back briefly, because my first web browser was Netscape 0.9b. Then I said, WTH, let's just keep using it. Almost 2years later... it's still rockin strong. Altough I switch to Firefox more frequently.

I still use Netscape as my email client. I probably should do something about that, but then I'd lose all my old emails!

You guys may want to check out the Seamonkey project. It's a continuation of the Netscape/Mozilla all-in-one browser.

  4. Not quite; with McCain there would have been more people unemployed, as he would have let GM go down the tubes, he wouldn't have provided money in a Recovery act to save first responders and teachers jobs, significant health care reform would have been kicked down the road, and there would be no reduction of troops in Iraq. Not to mention that I would pray every night that he remain healthy and safe.

According to you, we had a budget surplus under Clinton. So we are supposed to take this post seriously?

  5. In case any of you were unaware as I was, our best Republican mouthpiece, Rich in Ohio is no longer with us on PPP.

After a good friend of his, Wacka was very rudely treated on our forum RiO (as he's affectionately called) felt like enough was enough and it just wasn't much fun around here anymore. When you look at it from his perspective how could you even blame him? Wacka takes time away from his busy schedule cleaning stalls at Pete's Porno Palace, and comes onto our forum to share his opinions and in return we disrespect and cause him to leave, meanwhile RiO has to sit there and take it all in.

Sound like much fun to you?

I say we because unfortunately a few bad apples on top can make the whole bushel look rotten if you don't throw the bad ones away.

This is RiO's website documenting his struggle since he left.

You guys/gals get a chance, drop him a line, let him know what he means to our Forum and how much we miss him, or post your support on this thread,

Lets get Rich and his balls-hanging-out squirrel avatar back home to PPP where he belongs...

Added note: I would like to personally thank everyone here for all the strong support they have shown for RiO, and for also proving that people do really matter on PPP because people do really care, Thanks

Ah yes, the good ol' days with RiO. Hahahahah

  6. Amen to that. The economy is slowly improving, stock values are going up instead of down, financial institutions have stabilized, American car companies are recovering, and all this despite a Recovery Act that was too small, but was the most that they could get approved, and a continual effort by Republicans to put political theatre ahead of what's best for the economy. Of course it's little comfort for all the unemployed, of which I was one at the end of the Bush term but have been working for the past year. Since private companies are making profits but sitting on their cash reserves, it's left to the government to further stimulate job growth. We've seen the failure of trickle-down economics, hopefully voters will remember it was Bush and the Republican Congress that took a surplus to a deficit, enacted tax cuts for the wealthy without corresponding spending cuts, started an off-budget war in Iraq, and promoted less regulation for the financial and energy industries. That tiger won't change it's stripes.

Please show me where there was a surplus under Clinton. I'll start you off with the proper site:

  7. Once again, I have to bump this thread. This site is incredible. And for $36 a year to have on my cell phone, this is so far superior to any other music site. Any song you want, immediate to your computer (for free) or to your phone ($3/month). Awesome.

I agree. I have been goovin' since Fez posted this thread (thanks Fez!). I went VIP and like the desktop client. Also running it on my Samsung Captivate Droid phone.

  8. Hey everyone, well wishes to all on this beautiful (at least by me in Jersey) Friday afternoon! I'm new here, been lurking for quite some time but I finally grew a backbone and decided to start posting. Been a Bills fan forever (although my forever is quite short; I'm only 21), and although we have been in a rut for the past however many years, I have a great feeling about the direction of this team! Hope to have friendly discussions with everyone, and best wishes to all!

    Welcome aboard!
