  1. Listening to Vince Young on ESPN Gameday yesterday, he isn't gonna be available for the draft. He basically said that he will return to Texas next year. But man! I would take him over Leinart in a flash!
  2. Very good points. I am not an ex-NFL receiver (although I did say in a Holiday Inn, once). I would like to see more consistancy in terms of catching the ball, and I would be completely sold! Otherwise, too inconsistant to have as a regular.
  3. Watching in Walnut Creek, CA. All games were on. Sporadic cheers for whomever people are routing for. When Josh Reed scored the late T.D., everyone in the place applauded and cheered. Even the 5 Pats fans in front of me. All I could do is laugh.
  4. Jerry Porter hasn't been the receiver the Raiders had hoped. With Tuiassapo now the QB in Oakland, a Moulds/Randy Moss combo would be just downright deadly.
  5. Would Ralph pay the 15-year contract that ND gave Weis received earlier this year? Not likely. Plus, Weis now runs the ND program. He controls what players he wants. Doesn't have to deal with idiotic attitudes, contracts, etc. The ND head-coaching job is one of, if not the most, prestigious college head coaching jobs. It would have to be an offer of incredible amounts of cash, and power, to take him away from that.
  6. I believe the cross ownership is an NFL rule. For a long period of time, the same ownership group owned the Atlanta Thrashers and Atlanta Hawks. When the rule came into being, Mr. Blockbuster had to sell the Marlins to comply with the new rule thus keeping the Dolphins. As far as a new Bills owner goes, there is really no easy answer. I cannot see Rich owning them. Jacobs isn't a good fit, and there is no way in hell I would want to see Larry Quinn having his hands involved with the Bills. That would happen if Gollisano bought the team.
  7. Hypotheticals... If Minnesota does come to Buffalo Next year... If Eric Moulds is still on the team... If it's early in the season... How many would buy tickets to the Sundowner cruise that would suspiciously take place the weekend of that game?
  8. GR hasn't been the same since Frank Benny
  9. You want the Bills to glorify Mad Cow Disease with a new logo?
  10. Because if you don't, Baby Jesus would cry!
  11. In 2009, we'll be talking bout the Cuentas De Ciudad de México/Accounts of City of Mexico/Mexico City Bills.
  12. Food for thought. Are Young, Bush, Leinhart those one in a generation players, that you have to make moves to trade up to get? I'm not saying I want one of those players on the Bills, but would Bush be better than Willis? Would Young or Leinhart be better than J.P.? As for trading down, although I see the point and validity of it, it still drives me nuts! I think instead of stockpiling picks, Free Agency is still probably the most viable option of fixing what ails you.
  13. What Willis said is looking at the glass half full, unlike some (not all) Bills fans, who always see the glass half empty.
  14. J.P. is having growing pains, but he is growing! He looks like he makes strides in becoming a very good quarterback every week! Bledsoe threw 3 passes right into the ground, behind the line of scrimmage, without anyone around him. Caused the Giants winning Touchdown by handing off to Julius Jones, right on his left hip! What would you rather have? I'd take today, as hard as it is, than trusting the offense to the droid.
  15. That idea isn't as dumbass as some of the posts here today. To say that today's game is in the grand scheme of things to move the Bills out of Buffalo? Idiotic...
  16. Let me just highlight this as one of the most embarassing things I have ever read. I'm embarassed to be a Bills fan. Not because of the team, but for commentary like this. Seriously. There's a football team in Hamilton, Ontario that would love to have you as a season ticket holder.
  17. Nah. Compare this to SB XXVII. THAT was embarassing!
  18. Did you people NOT see him own the Chargers with his kickoff returns? I was there, and he was truly one of the only bright spots in an otherwise dull afternoon (football wise).
  19. This is the first time that I was unable to perform with my wife in bed, and I put the blame squarly on this loss. There. How's that?
  20. New Orleans will be in L.A. No chance for Buffalo to be relocated there.
  21. Watching the game from the now torn down American Sports Bar and Grill on Transit Road. There were about 1500 people there for the beginning of the game, and there were 500 left at half time. When Christie kicked the FG in overtime, you couldn't move! A family right in front of me hugged, and fell right to the ground. Waitresses were dancing on the tables. I think the bar stopped charging people for drinks but I'm not sure on that. I do know it was just an amazing time!
  22. Bottom line, as long as Moulds catches the ball and scores touchdowns, I don't care if he likes to bang midgets straped to the goalposts, or whatever he likes. Just perform. (Of course, you could say that to the dancers in Niagara Falls, and it would still apply).
  23. That comment by JP could piss off some of those who have been vocal of JP. I know I'm up too late, and over thinking things, but I see nothing more than a bunch of grown men wanting to win, win badly, and win now. I see no problems with that!! A nice revision of the "Bickering Bills". We know what happened with the Bickering Bills, Part I.
