I live in flip flops over the summer. Anytime I wear shorts, its with flip flops. I even wear them with dress pants when going for a casual dinner. For me, nothing is more comfortable as I have a bunion on the side of my foot so any time I can wear something that does not rub against it, its a score for me.

The 4 game stretch late in the year of @ Dal, Ravens, @ Steelers, @ NE* has me very worried. That could be a 4 game losing streak. I can see 9-7 pretty well, but 10 wins is gonna be tricky.

Please enlighten me as to how Andujar is not the worst fielding 3b in the league. How Sanchez didn't hit .186 last year. How Severino hasn't pitched all year and his performance regressed significantly from July on last season. Or how any other of my statements weren't true. I despise the Yankees and I know more about them than you apparently.
Andujar is the worst fielding 3B in the league in his rookie year. Thats very true. Its also very true that the player Andujar is most compared to, Adrian Beltre, was the worst fielding 3B his rookie year as well. He went on to win 5 gold gloves and will likely be a HoFer within 3 years of his eligibility. Not sayin Andjuar is Beltre but players can improve.Sanchez had a bad year. No doubt. 2016-2017 were great years for him. I won't crucify a young C for a bad year, especially if he bounces back.
Severino has a shoulder problem I think. 2017 and 1/2 of 2018 were terrific. I do not know if Sevy bounces back without surgery, but I would not call him a bust.
"Homegrown" talent, in my view, doesnt just mean drafted talent. It can also mean young and unproven talent acquired from other organizations via trade. That would include Hicks, Didi, Gleybar Torres, Voit and Clint Frazier. All will be contributors this year and for many years beyond.
I do believe Bird will become a good player, but he may need to get out of NY for it to happen. Which is a shame because I thought Bird could have been the best of the bunch.
Judge is simply Judge and a beast.

I always hope for a Bisons-Yankees affiliation. Wont happen, but would be awesome if it did

I guess I’m out of the loop but as someone who does a lot of hiring of recent grads, I don’t give a flying F where someone went to school as long as they have the required degree(s), gpa experience/internships and work ethic. I assume this is more for the parents to show off their kids are going to an elite school because they probably won’t need career placement anyway
Its not really that the degree is any different from a place like Harvard rather than Canisius or UB; but its much more the alumni network that you can tap into for the rest of your life that matters most. Of course, it really helps certain industries (like Wall Street, management consulting etc.) more than others. For example:
Need a 1st job...hit up the alumni network.
Starting a business and need investors....alums.
Your kid needs something you cannot provide...an alum can help.
The top schools all have active alumni networks with massive coordination and people dedicated to connecting alums. The very top schools even have private clubs with restaurants, bars, workout facilities, meeting rooms etc. in NYC (Yale club, Penn club, Harvard club etc.). So, IMHO...yeah it can help a kid out a lot. I don't blame any of the parents here trying to get their kids plugged into that network.

Thurman Munson for obvious reasons
The day Briere & Drury went unsigned and left the Sabres - the teams tailspin still hasnt stopped from that day
Pat Williams - heart & soul guy, loved Buffalo but the evil Tom Donohoe wouldn't give him the money. Phat Pat played quite well for Minnesota for a number of years afterwards

I read icy road conditions and yes, no alcohol at all in Boeheim. Boeheim was shaken up but cooperating. Very sad all around.
I always liked Jim Boeheim and he is Syracuse. So far, I am glad there are no other extenuating circumstances here...seems like a bad decision by the guy who died and just an accident with Boeheim.

Bills played a night game at NYJ 2 years ago. I hope the NFL doesnt do that again. Make it the Cleveland game

My inlaws ( I call them the outlaws) suck. So I have disassociated myself from dealing with them. At this point, I only see them 4 days a year (Xmas, my kids bdays and once in the summer). I can be civil in conversation for 4 days.

Completely agree, liked how he played here but don't think we lost much when he left. I wished the Rams well even before I knew they were playing NE in the Super Bowl because of him and Robert Woods
I'm rooting for Wade Phillips.

My views are even more controversial. Lol.
Use all the drugs you want. Just know the American taxpayers aren't gonna save you when you overdose. As I've mentioned before, I believe basically all taxation is theft, and that inclues "sin taxes" like this one.
I can well appreciate your view. The "regulate" portion of that is so that an individual can be confident on what he/she is actually purchasing and won't kill them on the spot. Someone has to pay for that level of quality control. Hence the "tax" part of my position.

Legalize, tax and regulate all drugs.
Pardon anyone currently incarcerated for non-violent drug offenses.

They can be a little drier than some places, but then again, I don't like "goopy" wings (aka Duffs)...
Agreed 100%. When I make my wings at home, I put them in the oven for 2 min after I sauce them. Helps take out the goopy-ness and the flavor is better IMHO.

Rick Gosselin's 2018 NFL special-teams rankings
Saw that this morning....31st. God awful. No excuse for having 31st ranked ST. The Jest are 1 by a wide margin. They always seem to have good ST. We should take some pointers from them.

Downhill skiing. I still race in an over 40 alpine race league which is fun. My knees cant take the pounding of moguls any more, but beyond that I can still ski anything I used to ski in my 20s.
Beer league softball after work comes in a close second. Thats always a good time.

Can he bring RG Glowinski with him? Cause then this is a steal.

Sounds like he will be a good hire. I like that he's young, up and coming and open to new ideas.
Is this the easiest schedule the Bills ever had?

If the season ended today, we would travel to Indy for Round 1 of the playoffs. Id give us a fighting chance in that matchup.
