1. Dont you people understand? SHE'S A GRIEVING MOTHER!!! SHE CAN SAY ANYTHING SHE WANTS AND NOT BE CHALLENGED ON THIS BASIS ALONE!!!!!

Where's the compassion? So what if the hard left is using her as their political instrument knowing full well that for the most part she is beyond reproach because of her "get out of jail free" card.

Just blame the right for everything. Seems to work just fine.

  2. You're reaching pretty far if you think the Jets are going to beat New England.

You could make a solid argument that the Chiefs will win at Arrowhead and the Colts could win the way they're playing at Foxboro but the Jets? I'd be more inclined to believe the Pats lose at Miami, a place they always have trouble in than the Jets.

Then again, I'm sure you counted last week's game against the Raiders as a win right?

    DOOOOOOOOOMED!!!

  3. Please. Dude. I was watching my team when Plunkett was throwing and Gogolak was kicking for YOUR team for Christ's sake.

What else would you like to argue about, Helmet? Whether Brady is great or not? Whether your team is a dynasty? All of them...points that have been discussed ad nauseum. You won three of four and I wish my team had done the same. That's not an argument worth having, Skippy, because it's a stupid argument.

And instead of once again relying on everyone I know who lives in Beantown to prove that most all Patriot fans are bandwagon fans, we'll just wait until the end of this year when you are no longer in contention. Let's take a look at all the empty seats. Let's see if you can recall who you're playing in the last game of a season that has gone to the crapper. You won't and neither will any other Pats fan, except maybe HD.

Empty seats. Bandwagon fans. You are their leader. I swear, I really feel like I might miss you when you stop following your team.

Empty seats? Which team STILL doesnt sell out all of their home games?

Which team has sold out all its home games consecutively since 1993?

But then again, you arent interested in facts, you just simply dismiss any opposing fan as a bandwagon one. You have my pity.

  4. This assumes your offense can score 30 points.  Brady and company have trouble scoring over 17. (without help from the ever-friendly refs)

While I agree the Bills manage to get hosed in Foxboro, making victory unlikely, I would remind you that your beloved Patriots are not blowing the doors off the NFL anymore.  It seems the losses of your coordinators and injuries, which your fellow Patsy ballwashers laughed off, are having a major effect.

So beware to those who talk trash with a 3-3 ballclub heading south.  They will be crying the blues before too long.

Heading South, How so when we have a clear path to the AFC East championship?

Will the Jets challenge us? Nope

Will the Dolphins challenge us? Nope

Will the Bills challenge us? Despite how many of you think to the contrary, a big fat NOPE.

  5. What everyone here seem to be ignoring is the one truth we all know: most every Pats fan is a bandwagon fan. You're 3-3, and even if you sweep us (wow, big accomplishment that), your season will not recover and your glory days are done. We both know it because your contributions to this board are now strictly held to discussing what WAS with your team. Once they don't make the playoffs this year, I'm sure you'll go back to ignoring the team just like every other Pats fan, including T-Bone.

The question becomes...will you embrace another NFL team that is winning, like T-Bone, or simply hope your baseball team gets better?

Gotta say, Thurman. I'm almost gonna miss you. It was fun while it lasted.

So because you simply cant argue about anything else, you make false assumptions about the majority of Pats fans. Who are you to judge how long someone else has been a fan of a team for? Just because your team has a long history of sucking minus an 8 year span or so, doenst mean that you guys are the only "lovable losers" of the NFL. We've gone from extreme rags and now we're enjoying riches.

Or did you become a Bills fan around 1990?

  6. It appears you've skipped the medication once again for your Pseudobulbar Affect-

Actual objective fans of the sport wouldn't even suggest that the "Best Ever" tag be applied to someone who tanked to .500 the moment his defense began to fall back to earth.

But think of all the possibilities:

    The Memorial Day Brady .500

    Brady Dairy Half/N/Half

TV Series: The Adventures of Winsome and Losesome Brady

Yes, the list could go on forever!

    480265

See, what bugs you is that he's basically a lock for the HOF already and he's going to be more highly regarded than your own beloved Jim Kelly.

Those are some sour grapes to be eating arent they?

  7. Brady will be in the conversation of the "best ever" when he retires along with when he's inducted into the HOF.

AKC makes me laugh with his skewed and/or made up stats. Its like he's still running around trying to convince us all that the world really is flat.

  8. If Peyton Manning wins one or two Superbowls, everyone will remember Brady as a product of a good system.  Especially if they don't win another one without Charlie Weis.  He's a system QB, that makes good decisions within a system.  When the talent level dropped around him, witness Sunday vs. Denver, he looked very amateur.  They were only in that game at the end because Shannahan sat on a 25 point lead for two quarters.  Flame away Patriot fan a-holes.

    479016

Then explain to us why no other QB could win a Super Bowl with that team under that system? And why has no other NFL team in a notorious copycat league been able to reproduce that magical "system"?
