+1I still always refer to it as Rich Stadium

As big a week as this has been in Buffalo, the sense of euphoria in WNY after crushing the Raiders and heading into SB XXV could only be matched by actually winning a SB, it was a very special time. No, the biggest week was the week before Superbowl XXV.

Just go to the end of the thread and read what is relevant today, very recent topic about the boards performance issues if the guys that finance and maintain this for us are asking us not to start threads that currently exist it's only fair that we do that. It's a great day in Bills history, but how many new ownership threads have been started just today!!!!I understand your point. Honestly I do. Nobody wants a whole bunch of recent threads on the same topic especially very recent topics.
There is another point to be made though too. A lot of people visit a forum to chat and take part in a conversation. If a thread is many pages long and you force them to always stay on that same thread then it is a major de-motivation for additional talk to occur. Because if I come visit this forum and I haven't been here in a week, I am certainly not going to feel like reading 20 pages of content before I can voice my opinion on a topic. It could take all the time I have available just to read the previous posts. Heck, sometimes I might not even finish reading the previous posts. I don't think people should be expected to have to do that. It's just not practical. Not everyone has that much time on their hands to come here.
And then there are situations where someone might want an up-to-date conversation to be started because some situation has changed. I think that is a reasonable reason to start a new thread. Nobody really wants to have every thread be 50 pages long do they? The site would suck.

Very true I'm currently in western NY taking care of a sick parent, but live in West Palm where a Dolphins blackout sometimes produces a televised Bills game, usually have Sunday ticket, but still derive a little pleasure out of a fins local blackout.I'm in S. Florida so blacking out the Miami games & playing something else is a positive for me.

The longest running source of stress in my life could be put to rest, the Bills are here to stay Thank You Mr. Pegula !!!!!!!

Can't believe in retrospect given his already questionable character and work ethic issues, anybody would still have taken Johnny F#%&k up in the first round. As much as I disliked the idea, before the draft I figured Donald and Pryor would have been the best available players to the Bills at 9 and Shazier would have been the best player available to them in round 2.
I hate first round DB's and taking another LB wasn't what I wanted to see but they looked like they were going to be bpa's to me.
That said I would have taken Manziel at 9 and not looked back. QB is just that much more important than any other position and i don't buy into that no-competition for young QB's nonsense. If Manziel pans out his impact will be huge on the field and perhaps billions of dollars off the field, legions of new fans(which is desperately needed after 14 bad seasons) and a good QB will be playing at a high level long after the rest of your draft has retired.

Probably would have been Eric Ebron from all reports after the draft, it makes the Sammy trade look even better reports out of Detroit are Ebron is really struggling with the learning curb going from college to pros that and questionable hands, Bills already have a TE that can't catch a football.

Agreed Greggo tore apart the # 2 defense in the league because his prior team was #1 and the clown suits, painful times...Most here have been putting forth defensible statistics to back up their respective selections for "Worst Draft in Bills History". I won't. I'm going to stick with 2002, simply because it was early in the era of those god-awful Titan-esque clown uniforms that Gregg Williams brought over. Talk about futility. I wince when I think back to the early part of the last decade. A bunch of nobodies wearing clown suits, getting creamed by everyone from the Pats* to Mount Saint Mary's Sisters of the Blind. Painful.

They always struggle in Miami, it just happened on the first week of the season this year.... Nothings changed they're still an elite team in this league...LOL. Writing off the Pats after one week?

Hopefully they find somebody better than Brooks, that guy has looked awful IMO.
-
We could give him a million or two and cut him !!!!Let's trade for Tararis Jackson from Seattle. Not too bad a player, he could probably be had for a 3rd round pick !!!!
-
With one DT likely facing a suspension I would think keep the extra DT, I thought he was the best story of an otherwise dismal preseason. It was a pretty tall order getting signed the day before camp started and making this roster on the defensive line, but I thought he had pulled it off..... Hopefully somebody signs him he deserves a shot. They have not made the final cuts yet, but supposing Hogan does make it, would you rather have six WRs or five DTs?
-
feel the same wayI was not in favor of drafting another QB high last year. But Garropollo looks really sharp. And I feel sick. We could have had him along with the rest, and minus Kouandjio. F$#@
-
I met him after a home game against San Fran the week before Rob Johnson got hurt and he came into the San Diego game and played for the first time, very decent guy stood around and talked football with me for about ten minutes.

Thanks for the link listened to the whole interview, hopefully we get a healthy CJ for the whole season this year, love to see him around 6 or 7 yards a carry late in the year again.ICYMI: 8-19 CJ SPILLER WITH S & BD <20:45>
-
With the insanity in regards to EJ on here lately, I sometimes fail to recognize the sarcasm, sorry Dan...............Not to speak for that poster but the post you quoted reeked of sarcasm.
-
Yeah the Colts tanked a season to get Luck and trade him for Spiller, right.....I don't understand why we have this QB mess either, when Peyton was available! We totally should have traded Spiller to the Colts for Luck too. Then, we'd be set at QB for the next 15yrs!! I just don't get this FO.

Did you really think weren't going to find jokes on this thread, I started laughing as soon as I seen the topic,One of 'em is; You don't know when to back down after insulting someone.
I've been home in the western NY area since Feb. taking care of my Father with cancer, lighten up, the newspaper article was funny....My comments were more in general. You seem to want to be the voice.
But I think the comments were in poor taste. JMO. The fact is EJ is trying to do more than a lot of people making jokes are probably doing.
There are plenty of EJ sucks threads. Why people want to get up this is beyond me.

I seriously doubt they would cut Hoyer, I believe they'll move him in the near future, and somebody will give them a draft pick for him, I would love to see the Bills make a move to get him, but it's not going to happen.... I honestly don't believe the front office will bring in anybody that would create a QB controversy at this point, they went all in on EJ and barring injury that hasn't changed. Before we give up on EJ it should be noted he seems to have the full support of his teammates, the guys that play with him everyday have to see they have enough talent to make some noise this year, and nobody has stepped out and questioned him being their leader, in fact, it has been the exact opposite, his teammates have done nothing but support him, and that should speak volumes. I've been a Bills fan since the mid 70's over the past 40 plus years I've seen a lot of guys worth complaining about under center here in Buffalo. He's 28 of 37 with no tds and a pick so far, that's not that bad folks give him a chance. Just to stay on topic you must be f---ing insane if you think bringing the Tebow circus to town would in any way help this team. Not a Tebow fan at all... but both back-ups really looked bad last night.
As someone else said... Grossman would have been a nice veteran add. If the Browns cut Hoyer (doubt that they keep 3 well paid QBs) I wouldn't mind giving him a shot at the #2 job. At least the dude's proven he can win a game... and without much help at that.
Will you be cool if The Ralph becomes Paychex Stadium
