One of these days i am going to enter the WS of Poker...just need to come across the $10 grand first
Actually i'd probably be better off entering some of the lesser known tourneys as opposed to the main event. Fewer people, better odds.
Either way, free alcohol and hookers is always a plus.
I'd like to play the WSOP main event some day. However, that statement is just horrible, less players, better odds. The skill level at the main event is so dilluted by people who either have no clue or think they are 10x better than they are vs at the smaller events, where its mostly pros playing. Unless your a seasoned pro, your odds are better at the big event than the smaller ones.

Whoa, the most overrated football statistic is by far wins. Since when is a good season measured in W-L?? a good season is by how many TDs your QB throws, how many rushing yards your RB gets, or how many TDs your special teams run back. I'm so sick of hearing "wins wins wins", nobody cares about wins!

From the man who turned one of the worst tragedy's in US history into a poorly conceived love triangle can certainly butcher something as kickass as Transformers.
Micheal Bay can burn in hell.
My guess: Crappy rock music, too many explosions, and a cheesy arrowsmith song for the credits. Oh, and some of the worst one liners in movie history.

Carolina doesn't handle adversity well, because, since after the 1st round, they have't had to. Carolina has gotten endless numbers of breaks, fortunate injuries. Hell, if Roloson hadn't gone down in game 1, Edmonton probably would have carried the cup around last night. LV Bills fan needs to take the blinders off, because the fact is, his team has lucked, not earned, where they are right now, and since game 4, the bounces have stopped going their way. And they don't know what to do. I'm really hoping Carolina loses on Monday and Lavlioette wins coach of the year, so I have a picture to put in my dictionary next to "irony".

Of course, true Karma would be Ward and Wesley out for the next game, Hedican getting injured in game 6, then Commodore waking up with an infection from his un-washed bathrobe keeping him out game 7. Oh yeah, and the game winning OT goal? Off the backboards, onto the stick of pronger in the slot.

I'd rather see Toronto win a cup then the clowns in Carolina. Their fans might be complete homer a-holes, but at least it would mean something to them.

I'm off to Vegas again in about 6 weeks. I've been about every 6 months for the last three years and was there in February so I was about due. A friend of mine qualified for the main event of the WSOP on Full Tilt, so we're going to go out and support him. This time I'm staying at the Tropicana, wasn't my choice but I've never stayed at that end of the strip before so I'll give it a shot. I've heard it has a really nice pool so I'll look forward to checking that out. Has anybody stayed there before? If so any comments? I realize this it isn't the nicest place but that's fine, I'm not really that concerned about where I lay my head for a few hours. Also, anybody who has been out there recently, are there any new sights or attractions in the last six months?
I just made my first trip to Vegas over memorial day weekend. I stayed at the trop. Cheap? yes. But bad food, no amenities, long hike to any of the big poker casinos (read: the Mirage, Bellagio, and Wynn) and an even longer hike to the Rio. And the odor comment is bang on. Just a strange smell throughout the whole casino/hotel. Not the best choice if you are going to watching the WSOP. The 1st 5 days will be at the Rio, quite a hike if you don't have a rental car. The final day will be at Binions. My advice? Stay someplace nice in the center of the strip, espically if you have a group of guys to split the costs. The time you waste trying to get where your going will pay for itself.

I was AT the game on Saturday. Buffalo fans were drunk and loud. Your point is? I'm sure a few of them did stupid things associated with drinking too much. Nothing you won't see when NC State fans go to an away basketball game in droves. The Canes fans were more angry that Buffalo fans had the nerve to drive down 11 hrs and root for their team and have a good time than anything Buffalo fans did. There were more than a fair share of very kind, nice Carolina fans, but there were also more than a fair share of rude, "how dare you buy up all the tickets we didn't buy for 5 days then come here and root for your team" Carolina doesn't see hockey as something to be passionate about yet, the Eastern Conference Finals isn't more exciting to them as any regular season game. They'll get there in a few years, but they just don't get it yet.

From what I could tell, looks like they synced up the video with 911 calls. I don't know who would re-enact something like that. Maybe the sound was recorded later?? Either way
