Yeah seriously....and I'm not in any way a "pissed off fan". Couple of things said from Mixon and Boyd were not exactly "bulletin board material"  etc....It's was worded in a manner that "I'm kinda gona half-assed compliment you, but also make it clear I don't really respect you all that much"

It's enough that will make people feel like, "seems like it's not going to be all that hard to make plays on Bills D" amount of respect.

As a fan that watches and reads everything, all of the talk this week has been very respectful towards the Bills.   Everyone knows how good your team is, also Joe and Josh are friends.

KC safety seriously trash talked us and not one player of ours said a word.

Here is a question for you... do you guys want to pay us back on Monday for that win vs the Ravens in 2017 or wait until the playoffs?

I think Mixon is their biggest threat. He doesn't get enough credit IMO. That said, our run defense is much better than last year. I also think D Jones has really helped keep our LB's clean.

Mixon is not the Bengals biggest threat.  Perine actually averaged more yards when Mixon was out with an injury.

They’re sick of hearing about us and the Chiefs all year.

They feel disrespected after luckily making it to the Super Bowl last year bc they beat Vegas at home, Ryan Tannehill, and a Chiefs team (also lucky to be there) that melted down at halftime because I’m pretty convinced Tyreek went ballistic at halftime after how they botched the end of the first half.

As a Bengals season ticket holder for many years and well informed on all things my team, I can promise you this is not the case.

It is tiring to hear to KC fans nonstop blaming the refs for all 3 losses on twitter.

It is also comical to continually read statements from fans who teams didn't go very far that about the Bengals were lucky making it to the Super Bowl.  But Cincy is getting plenty of love, in fact I'm shocked at how many commentators/writers are picking Cincy in this game.  Maybe just hyping it up?

Where is the bragging?  A few quotes are put on twitter and some of you are crazy fragile. Here is wht the guys said in full context:

"At the end of the day, what people got to realize and understand, we the big dog of the AFC and that's just what it is," Mixon said after Saturday's practice. "For anything to happen, it goes through us."

"We know what our end goal is and in order to get to that end goal we got to get through Buffalo," Mixon said. "We got to keep one week at a time and everything else take care of itself."

Mixon praised Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano but added that "they're not the [Baltimore] Ravens."

"The best thing about is they're going to have to play us honest," Mixon said. "If you want to cheat, whatever you want to do, we're going to make you pay, whichever way you want to do it. That's on you, however y'all want to play it.

"But at the same time, we're going to play our game and we're not going to let nobody dictate what we wanna do. That's just what it's going to be."

"The Bills, what better team would you be able to go up and put your best against?" Mixon said. "It's a great opportunity for us, but at the same time I know our guys, we [are] ready."

No way we are running straight into the teeth of that front. Play action passes over the middle intermediate depth. Greg Cosell says Knox is the man to watch. I think Diggs may have a big game.

Bengals are not good with designed QB runs, smash mouth will not work with Reader & Hill (Chubb & Henry didnt get 50 yds).  Also concerned about play action with the rookie CB, only played in a handful of games.  Bills will be very tough for the Bengals on both sides of the ball.

Lucky, I wish I could be there.

They pulled specific partial quotes to get fans worked up heres the link.  Every player said respectful things about the Bills, they know how good you guys are.  Also, keep in mind that Mixon is not in the upper tier of intelligence .....

Seriously?  Read the article with some context not just hot takes to piss off fans.  KC provided real bulletin board material before our game.

"in order to get to that end goal we got to get through Buffalo"

"Mixon praised Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano"

I dont see a shoot out. I either see a heavy loss on our team because of mistakes and lack of separation combined with Allen mistakes. Their DL always gives us a rough time. Always. It won't be any different.

But I fully expect our defense to school them. They're not like Miami with timing routes and heavy traffic. They're more like having a few Gabe Daviseseses as well. Boyd is what John Brown was. Nothing more. Nothing less. Chase can't run a full route tree and could be taken out by tough coverage, pressing play and I expect Elam to be a good match. Higgins is as effective for them as Gabe Davis is for us. He can show up or he can flop but consistency he is nop.

I'd take the matchup of their RBs ( Mixon and whoever else, Parine?) Against Hamlin, Milano and Settle any day. Just like we don't know their team, and let's be honest - no one needs to know the Bengles or even how to spell that team... They don't know who we are. They will read articles that White is playing poorly and slow - he is. He's also mauling offenders. What this comes down to is keeping them having to go to the air a lot. Keeping them from controlling the clock so we can control it.

We finish this game with execution and commitment to the run early. We end the game out running them by over 80 yards - which they'll throw up 80+ to us. I imagine they get 50+ yards running in the first half, but sub 20 in the 4th. They can't stick to the run and short of a busted play it won't matter.

Burrow throws 350 yards and a couple of touchdowns. He draws the praises of whoever the lowIQ commentators are to lap up all that kittens milk. Burrow will likely finish the game prettier on paper as a passer than Allen but Allen pulls the W thanks to a defense that bends all night.

    Final:

    Buffalo 24

    Cinci 16

Reserved to change until I see our ref team.  Anyone know?

    Is this satire?

"They're not like Miami with timing routes".   90% of the Bengals passing offense is timing routes, Burrow has the second fastest release by 1/10th of a second to Brady for a reason.

"They're more like having a few Gabe Daviseseses as well."  Bengals have the best WR room in the NFL.

"Chase can't run a full route tree and could be taken out by tough coverage".   Chase is an elite route runner, touted as the best  in a long time coming out of college.  You think Chase doesn't get "tough coverage" every game?

"Higgins is as effective for them as Gabe Davis is for us."   Tee already has over 1000 yds receiving this season.  He is rated as a #1 receiver, while many here do not consider Gabe a solid #2....

Did I just fall for a satire post?

I take it you are a bengals fan?  If so, welcome.  I like the Bengals anytime they arent playing Buffalo.  This is going to be a good game for sure.  Playoff like game.  Lamar and Allen run styles are different.  Allen can also sling it anywhere on the field.  Lamar can not.

Yes, Bengals fan here.  Our fanbase has always like the Bills.  I see a lot of hate here though... big game and potential rivalry does that I guess?

No doubt Lamar and Josh have different styles, but containing the pocket and spying is the same concept on D.  We are terrible on QB run design plays, way worse than scrambles.  This will e a huge test for the Bengals.  Biggest game of the season.  I'll be there Monday, should be a great one.

Umm not really, they always have a spy, sometimes 2, when rushing 3.  Bengals play Lamar twice every year, they know how to scheme a running QB.  Josh is an animal, be interesting to see how they do.

This is why I can’t stand burrow and the bengals. Their arrogance knows no bounds.

the defense should play the best game of their life.

Chris simms ripped on treday (and run game), mixon ripped on the linebackers, and Boyd called the defense ‘basic’

Did they not see what happened to Mike white?

Cant stand Burrow?   He was gushing compliments about the Bills.  Where does this narrative come from?
Joe and Josh are friends, Joe said Josh does things and makes throws that NOBODY else can.
Mixon also said the Bills were the best competition, as did Chase & Higgins.  Mison said they have to go thru Buffalo to win it all.
Boyd said "basic D" as compared to some crazy exotic schemes Bengals have played against other teams - he said the Bills didnt have to do anything complicated because the players were so good.
Joe Burrow is not Mike White.

Not sure why so many Bills fans are being this fragile?

  13. 33 minutes ago, PatsFanNH said:

I think he means you can’t load the box to stop the run and if you go very light they have the ability to run it on you.  Mind you they got lucky last week against NE. They had a 22-0 lead and needed a Pats fumble to hold on to win 22-18.. Should be a good game but IMO Bills win late on Allen scrambling for a late 1st down to close the game 35-32.

The Patriots game is kind of skewed, Bengals punted twice in the 4th qtr (not counting clock runout).  They moved the ball easily and shot themselves in the foot.
    Consider the following:
WR inexplicably stopped route in the redzone - interception (u buys know all too well how frustrating)
WR missed audible - pick six
    Missed Extra Point
    Missed FG
TD called back due to penalty - FG.
Mac Grayson Allen Jones appeared to fumble for a Bengals TD but got the call of an incompletion...
    Chase dropped a bomb
    Chase fumbled
Tee Higgins dropped a TD pass
Irwin had an open TD pass he misjudged.

Patriots scored on a tipped Hail Mary bomb from midfield on 3rd & 28
Patriots had ONE legitimate scoring drive.

Bengals made a ton of uncharacteristic mistakes that will cost the game if they do commit just one or two vs the Bills.

Two little problems with Mixon and his ridiculous comments.

1st, they are 11-4 and we are 12-3, not tied and 12-3.

2nd, the Bills are 7th on rushing offense, the Bengals, you know Mixon is 26th.  He if all people should keep his mouth shut.

3rd- juxtapose we are 7th in passing and they are 5th.  Not far apart.

lastly kind of an even match with us 2nd and then 4th in points, and 5th and 7th in yards.

Hes just showing an insecurity that everyone has said if we won the 13 seconds we were expected to beat them in the AFCCG.

You give Mixon too much credit for thinking he knows team stats.   I dont believe there is any insecurity in that locker room and there shouldnt be.  All reports have been very respectful.
Also, KC was expected to beat the Bengals in the AFCCG, so it's hard to say.

I remember when the Chiefs played the Bengals, GMFB talked about how the Bills and Chiefs respect each other and talk each other up when they’re playing but the Chiefs and the Bengals hate each other. Starting to see why if this is the type of stuff the Bengals say routinely. Bills will never stoop to that level though.

Schrager said this in response to the fans on twitter, not the players. KC fans have been nonstop blaming the refs for their losses to the Bengals.  They do not believe that is realistic that anyone can beat them, only the refs and themselves can defeat them.  Bengals players have a ton of respect for Chiefs players and coaches.
