There's much to be said about a person according to the way they treat other people. Your mini-rant is entirely believable. The arrogance that she displays in public no doubt is brought about by her abject ignorance. It's her cover to hide her inadequacies that in spite of, she has risen to a prominent and important position in Congress. How she gained (and remains in) such a position of power is beyond belief. This could not be done with a media that reported even a modicum of the truth.

Truth. Still, there are certain districts you could run a pile of dogschit, and as long as they had a -D (or -R to be fair) next to their name, they'd win.

The woman who chairs the House Financial Services Committee has absolutely no idea what she is doing.

"What are you guys  doing to help us with this student loan debt?"

Big bank no. 1.    "We stopped giving student loans in 2007."

Big bank no. 2.   "We stopped giving them in 2009."

Big bank no. 3.  "We stopped giving them in 2010, when the Federal Government took them over."

    "Thank you."

I have no idea what I am talking about.

And only in a minute 50 or so.

If brains were dynamite the woman couldn't blow her nose, yet she keeps getting re-elected. Tells me all I need to know about putting my faith in the Democratic party to lead this nation.

It's to our detriment that most of the Republicans out there are terrible too. :wallbash:

  3. I hate to be hopeful about all this. We've seen this movie before. Obvious corruption, obvious crimes committed, people sneering at anyone aghast that things have come this far, only to see everything swept under a rug with some legalese bull#### excuse and quotes flying around stating 'we can't indict, it wouldn't be good for the country' or 'too big to fail' or other such nonsense. Every time they couldn't have it more wrong. Not indicting is NOT good for the country. People need to see that justice is done at all levels of government/society/culture. Every time you give it a pass and say the American people can't handle it then you're just emboldening the next generation of corrupt scum to think even bigger.

Honestly, this might be the last shot we have to speak truth to power and see axes fall in the cause of righteousness. It seems that now, more than ever, the evidence is blatant and bountiful to drive a stake deep into the heart of the corrupt deep state. If all this corruption and outright treasonous behavior gets swept under the rug yet again, we're done. As did Rome, so does the ol' US of A so plan your exit strategies boys and girls because things can and likely will get worse before it gets better. We'll go back to getting establishment candidates beholden to the powers that be who all looting the Titanic for all it's worth before it goes down. So let's hope Trump doesn't ***** this up. I've got my popcorn ready.

If the left ever wonders why we call them 'snowflakes,' this story should be brought to their attention.

Two people don't like Nugent, and presto! Story in the BN.

If two people didn't want Cher or Bette Midler to play because of their racist comments about Trump, do we honestly think that would be a BN story?

    Of course not.

That's journalism these days. Half the stories they write about are them quoting twitter replies by a couple of lefties you've never heard of and making it a story about the evils of Trump or the alt-right or whatever slant they feel helps their narrative that day. It's getting ***** ridiculous.

should still make the tourney but... this team is the most inconsistent I can remember

Agreed. Lot's of individual talent, but no one that has the x-factor of leadership/charisma to get them all playing as a team or hold them together when they go cold in the 2nd half, which we've seen a lot of lately.

In just six days this month, five political careers burned to the ground.

On 5 February, 2019 Elizabeth Warren was exposed as a liar and charlatan, having lied about her native American ancestry to advance herself, for decades.

Then between 6 & 11 February, the careers of Virginia politicians and swamp rats Ralph Northam, Justin Fairfax, Mark Herring and the corrupt Tommy Norment were all destroyed in a complex, extremely well planned and calibrated takedown.

Yes, they're all trying to keep going. But don't worry. There will be more hits coming, if required.

All of the above are done.

As you will see in this piece, these events aren't random. In fact, they are connected. And the path leads back to a specific date - 20 September, 2017.

    ***** that.

just because the world is full of idiots doesn't mean we have to follow them off the clif.  what these dolts refuse to understand is that we live in a binary world.chicks with ***** are not women and never will be. what they need to do, if they feel so bad, is to create a third sport and call it, 'not men and not women' sports and let them compete against their own kind.

hey, i just made a new invention call a transgender plug. it is a cord on all electrical devices that you plug into.... oh, wait.....

They aren't chicks with *****, they're men with breasts.

  8. Guess this is the thread for utter idiotic actions taken by academia, especially when they are caught being utterly idiotic...

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/portland-professor-behind-journal-paper-hoax-fears-he-could-lose-his-job

A professor who fooled prestigious journals into running absurd hoax papers, as a test of their bias, says he may now lose his job because of his actions.

Peter Boghossian was one of three people who collaborated last year to test the standards of various university disciplines, submitting papers loaded with left-wing buzzwords to journals in fields like feminism, race studies, ***** studies, and cultural studies.

Many prestigious journals fell for their absurd hoax papers. A leading feminist journal published a section of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf that had simply been re-written with fashionable buzzwords. Another journal published a paper about “rape culture and ***** performativity” in dog parks.

  9. Sounds like an empty suit who likes the status quo. He and his friends likely have investments in the industrial-military complex and are quite happy with never-ending foreign military engagements. He also sounds like a ***** who will smile when the other side hands him a ****-sandwich to eat, so the media will write nice things about him being civil, instead of throwing in back in their faces and fighting for a cause.

I wouldn't vote for Romney for dog catcher.
