The uranium deal is lots of screaming for no big deal.

Skolkovo...that is a big deal.  The Clinton State Department gave the Russians the money and technology to "hack" the election in 2016.  I am amazed that doesn't get more press.

The uranium deal viewed in conjunction with the infusion of money into the Clinton Foundation is a quid pro quo and pretty big deal, but I agree Skolkovo is huge and borderline if not outright treason.

Can you imagine if those two things were done by a Republican? The media would have incited a mob to have built a gallows in front of the Capitol by now.

Seems to me that actual election fraud is what is truly dangerous to our representative republic, not the questioning of if election fraud happened, which should happen as a matter of a verification process, but that's just me.

What never seems to get talked about much that is inherently dangerous to any type of government, democracy or otherwise, is the ability of a group of people totally dependent on government largesse being able to vote for politicians that promise them more largesse.

    No.

Short story, but I was doing maintenance on my tractor. Not a small tractor, the rear wheels are about chin level.

The valve that controls the hydrostatic transmission went into forward while I was underneath, pinning my shirt and me, and it ran over me.

This tractor weighs about 1000 pounds more than a car.

Still, after it ran over my chest, I got up, shut the tractor down, went in and sat on the couch.

My wife came in and noticed I wasn't quite right...Petechial and other hemorrhages all over my face from blood being forced out.

I told her what happened and she insisted we go to the hospital.

I insisted that I must shower and change.

When I looked at myself after the shower I realized things weren't quite right.

Anyway, 21 broken ribs, four that are repaired with titanium.

Actual conversation between sherpa and his wife-

sherpa's wife: Now stand aside, worthy adversary!

    sherpa: 'Tis but a scratch!

    sherpa's wife: A scratch? Your arm's off!

    sherpa: No, it isn't.

    sherpa's wife: What's that, then?

sherpa: [after a pause] I've had worse.

    sherpa's wife: You liar!

    sherpa: Come on, you pansy!

Again, my main issue with Trump has been and will continue to be the tax cuts and the deficit. Articles like this scare the poop out of me. Long term i just do not see the economy sustaining growth as  the deficit increases at record pace.

Others here know the economy far better than I do, but when I read that tax revenue collected is higher than it's ever been I don't see that as an indictment of tax cuts but Congress's inability to reign in spending. This is the fault of both parties. Factor in the fact that one party is championing the idea we need more government healthcare, along with their mantra that all entitlements should never be cut but rather increased, and I'm not sure your issue is with Trump.

In all fairness, Nancy Pelosi deserves to be chosen Speaker of the House by the Democrats. If they give her a hard time, perhaps we will add some Republican votes. She has earned this great honor!

Translation: You idiots voted to let that batshiat crazy biatch back into a leadership role, now you can live with it.

If you're following political people on Twitter, it sounds very bad for the GOP. Florida looks bad, and somewhere in there I saw that Charlie Crist won re-election.

I didn't even know he was still alive.

Appears the MSM is pulling out all the stops in trying to depress GOP turnout in western timezones.

    Jeez, I hope it doesn't end up  GOP 218 -217 ...............

History shows us the standard Dem response.

We will have multiple 'recounts; over and over and over until they can say that 2 flipped.

THAT would be a "crisis Ezra.................?

I don't know. Remember the Voter Fraud squad Trump commissioned after he was elected? Rumor was they were unearthing some serious stuff, but just about all the states with Dem governors and/or legislatures told them to pound sand, that they wouldn't turn over records and help. The Fraud squad was quietly shut down, but I wouldn't be surprised if some shenanigans go down tomorrow that Trump doesn't bring it back with a vengeance. He isn't one of those limp-wristed Reps that will meekly accept a fraudulent defeat so as not to upset our fragile republic.

    Tomorrow could be very interesting.

  9. They say we're young and we don't know
We won't find out until we grow
Well I don't know if all that's true
'Cause you got me, and baby I got you
    Babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
They say our love won't pay the rent
Before it's earned, our money's all been spent
    I guess that's so, we don't have a plot
But at least I'm sure of all the things we got
    Babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
I got flowers in the spring
I got you to wear my ring
    And when I'm sad, you're a clown
And if I get scared, you're always around
Don't let them say your hair's too long
'Cause I don't care, with you I can't go wrong
Then put your little hand in mine
There ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb
    Babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
I got you to hold my hand
    I got you to understand
I got you to walk with me
I got you to talk with me
I got you to kiss goodnight
I got you to hold me tight
    I got you, I won't let go
I got you to love me so
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
    I got you babe
