The operative word here is FINALLY.  That it took them 5 years to get the O line right is on Bean.  The fact remains that the Bills brain trust made a conscious decision to NOT surround Allen with the best O line and offensive skill players and that has cost us dearly in the playoffs.

Yep and this is why I'm not confident that I can fully trust them to do right moving forward. "The process" seems to be build a defense and let josh carry the Offense. I don't trust the coaching on the defensive side and I think as awesome as josh is, he is only 1 person.

Im not surprised that Taylor Swift is being discussed. She is seemingly unescapable as she treks around the world on her private jet from tour to NFL game spectator.

The fascination with her and the sheer influence and power she wields is to me staggering.

I would very much like a "Taylor Swift" filter blocker on my feeds.  She and her Red lips are officially on my nerves. Too much is too much

I teach and all the boys talk about the teams and all the girls talk about their favorite team "the KCs" and their favorite player is "her boyfriend who catches the ball".

Disingenous? I don’t know think so. Even IF Allen has a shorter career, I expect him to play through the age of 30 at a high level. That is three more years, three more years at which the window is wide open at a minimum. And that is the absolute minimum IMO.

There are fools in the media that thought we would miss the playoffs this year going into this season because they thought our window had closed.

Agreed nothing is guaranteed. Bills have shown an inability to rise to the occasion of the defensive side of the ball against the better teams. Small sample size as those teams are just the Chiefs and Bengals but it’s still worrisome.

We've got QBs playing into their 40s now. Im Not worried about Allen. I'm worried about this organization wasting The Josh years by not surrounding him with talented WRs. We finally seem to have gotten the Oline respectable so at least there's that (for the time)

Why? Her culture is the embodiment of everything wrong with our culture.

She is a magnificently talented entertainer who has charmed her way across the world. It's not what so many dislike her for or wish to never see her again.

Maybe it isn't all directed at you but I work with plenty of guys at work who are football fans from across the spectrum of the ideology base. It is a multinational company where 1 out of 5 are not united states citizens. All of them interested in football has lamented the discussion of her. How if you dislike her the news says you're a conservative conspiracy theorist because she is at the super bowl. How if you don't like her you don't like powerful women. How if you don't like the attention she brings the league you need to rearrange your priorities. How the new fanbases should be welcome to football.

So many of us just want to ignore her but can't. And when we get tired of it we get labeled as all sorts of things.

Enough with her coverage. Let her be who she is and let us watch football in peace.

I mean you're not wrong with everything you're saying here. You can't have an opinion on anything unless it is the popular pushed opinion (example- Aaron Schats) and yet we're all told to "be true to ourselves" and "you be you". This is our culture. You can say something but be prepared for hell to rain down by keyboard warriors.

I saw my best friend's neighbor's parrot  🦜 walker at the bird park yesterday and he told me Sherfield is a free agent in 2024 and Harty has a cap hit of $5.57M but a dead cap of only $1.375M, making him a prime cut target for a team $51.8M over the cap.

Even if you believe "a guy at the gym" knows Sherfield and Harty, has talked to them, and they shared that Diggs "100% wants out", why would you believe a FA and a likely cut target would be plugged in to the inner workings of Buffalo's front office more than Joe on the street?  And what would be their connection to Houston's FO?

Beane and the Bills FO are a byword with the "NFL insiders" for living by "loose lips sink ships" and not telegraphing their moves.  So while I don't disbelieve your guy at the gym story, I respectfully don't think it's too credible.

Thanks for getting back to this, anyway!  'Preciate.

No problem. I enjoy chatting with ya

So this is an interesting question.  Where and when did Diggs say Josh is his brother?

Allen says that about Josh.  I have not heard Diggs say that about Allen.

Diggs said that?  Can you point me at where/when?

Guess I'm super late responding to this.  So I'm sure you've seen by now.

What I find interesting is that 24 out of the 50 voters left Josh entirely off their ballot. In what world does he not deserve at least a top 5 vote for this season ?

I think that once the matti rice is out about a player, then that's what they'll always be viewed as.
Josh- not very accurate, fun to watch but plays hero ball. He's big and will jump over and bull through you, so basically, he's not smart.
This is what I get from watching and reading media outside of buffalo.

No it won't.  They are and have spent so much money into CTE research and the redesigns or helmets and other equipment.

Flag football would be a $50 billion dollar loss and the owners aren't going to sign off on that.

I'm not sure how these are connected.

This is like when I talk to my neighbor about anything.
    "Hey man beautiful day out"

" yeah it is but it's going to rain tomorrow and in a few years we'll all be driving cars that catch fire and bread will be 100 bucks"

"ok, man, have a great day"

You’re forgetting a lot of players. Torrence started every game. Tre started every game as a rookie. Singletary started every game as a rookie. Rousseau played a ton as a rookie. Hell, even Cody Ford played a ton.

Really Kincaid kinda faded down the stretch so he probably did need to work his way in a bit. And Cook couldn’t pass pro at all last year, and still wasn’t great at it which limited his opportunities. Plus we fired the OC who was keeping Shakir on the bench.

Idk, I think if the Bills draft a WR in the first, they will play a really heavy role, unless they are awful.

Cool makes sense that is true. I do like that shakir got his snaps this year. Hoping for great things in year 3. But yeah. The trenches and defensive players do get thrown out there as rookies.

I'd  love to see a WR or two get drafted and play heavy. That's for sure.

Gabe Davis, a fourth round draft pick, had 10 games of over 60% of offensive snaps as a rookie. 12 games if you go down to 59% of snaps.

Put another way, as a rookie, he had 1 game where he played less than 40% of offensive snaps.

So where does this criticism come from?

I get it. 35 catches and 7tds. Good red zone guy,  blocker and a need. Gabe, to me, is a little bit of an outlier. So you may not like my answer (you may idk) but I'm looking at guys like cook, yep he was behind Singletary, shakir to a good degree and Kincaid (yes I understand that Kincaid was somewhat historical) but how many times did we see cook benched for fumbling when other fumbled and still played?  How often did we see shinier make plays with the limited opportunity and wonder why he wasn't ever given more chances?  Kincaid was used what around week 5 or so and then would get plays at the beginning of a game and then we wouldn't see home the rest of the game. The dude could have been used way more and succeeded. I don't have all the answers. It's an eye thing. It's also a thing that many have talked about so I in ow I'm not alone when I just think that Buffalo is slow to get their rookie skill guys playing. I hope that clears up where I'm coming from be it correct on my part or not. Go Bills!....next year
