I mean yeah technically, but is it really for a first contract supposedly franchise QB....hell technically later round QBs and backups don't really get a pass either if they're trying to make a team or prove they can actually be the guy.
Josh is getting to the point where he could because he's an established guy, some people would moan about it sure but as long as he still plays at a high level no one will care, except for the obvious thing we're all obsessed with the team getting done.
I agree as long as he's playing to his elite level. I've read so much "Josh plays too much golf" or "he's too Hollywood now" and so on. I'd imagine that crowd would not be happy.
As far as obsessions go.

I'm not sure what part of voluntary people don't understand
Lets try it this way "Josh Allen skips voluntary mini camp and team activities"
I can't imagine what we would be reading. Well...yes I can.

I do think we need to tap the breaks a little, this is a guy who had a 7% drop rate and 54% catch rate last year.
54% of the time he catches the ball every time.

I feel like McD might have had conversations with Kurt Angle that we just don't know about.

I think the health of our team
is going to be critical this year. The reason is, is that it's sort of a rebuild year. I think chemistry in the offseason training camp and preseason will be important. maybe as much as joshes rookie year. It's a game of skill and luck. We will need both to be on our side early and often this year.

Hahaha did he just say "we're getting better" when answering the first question?

Looking forward to the soon to be obligatory Coleman jumping high to snag a pass photo.
Better than dropped pass lowlights I suppose.

No one should care about Claypool, he’s a lottery ticket. I don’t get why people are so strongly against him. If he’s all in the he’ll make the team, if he’s not then he’ll be cut.
Simple as that. Guys like OBj and Boyd are WR3’s and weren’t coming to Buffalo to compete for WR4.
I completely agree. I hope he makes the team and gets everything straightened out. It would only benefit us if he did. But right now all we have to go on his is resume. Again. I hope he can turn it around though.

That's not a big deal. I mean we all punch photographers. Amirite?

Our top 3 WRs are actually set.
I'm actually not high on Claypool. I don't think he's making the cut.

On field for most of his time here has to be Diggs BUT everything else from heart, personality, passion and team player..Fitz. He's one of my all time fav Bills/ NFL personalty.

Who cares we've got Chase Claypool. All set!!!

Why not? Until this last year Oliver was a bust. He was on fire until he hit his bonus.
Why would it be a bad thing if he can out perform him? It means the team improves and isn't that the goal? Imagine both being on the field for passing downs?
I wonder why teams don't create incentives solely for the playoffs. You might get guys fighting harder mentally when they physically are spent or the other way around. Idk. I'm dumb so maybe they already do.

Nope. But I don't get autos from anyone so maybe I don't count here.

It's always been up to Josh to raise the level of play from other players (not named Diggs)
