  1. who is calling for civil war? and what is your opinion of that "option"? Hiding in plain sight.
  2. We hate traitors as do moderates and real R's. So what's your opinion of a civil war to solve all your pathetic problems?
  3. and who here on the D side was an apologist for them? Meanwhile the anarchist R's either praise Jan 6 or claim it was no big deal. traitors. some may have even participated. So how do you feel about civil war against real, decent Americans?
  4. We? Little is known, and what is known is kept secret What hate group are you part of? Proud boys?
  5. yes and a woman of such high family values. Just like MTG. I think the current R party should change its name to "Hypocrites". The "H" party...paragons of Virtue 😇
  6. Yes, because so many posters here pointed that out early in the thread...and Fox used it in the R debate...you cons here play dirty pool. it's who you are. Almost never straightforward and forthright. Just like your leader. The Klingons must float to the top when you jump in the water.
  7. wimp r u on disability? psych issues? verbosity is a characteristic of some conditions. can't remember. never my interest.
  8. Why did trump need a bail bondsman? https://news.yahoo.com/cant-afford-200k-bond-lawyers-145005508.html "Somewhat surprising because it means a $30,000 non-refundable payment to the bond company," Palm Beach State Attorney Dave Aronberg wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Other legal experts also questioned Trump's decision to enlist the help of the company online Thursday evening. "Why does a billionaire need the help of a bonding company?" national security lawyer Bradley Moss asked. "A man who owns resorts and a private plane can't afford a $200,000 bond?" he added.
  9. "Little is known, and what is known is kept secret". Quote from a U Alabama book on "the machine", which is apparently how the big shots at Bama refer to themselves. Hmmmm... Documentary on HBO called Bama Rush about sororities there but really about much more.
  10. deflection and obfuscation...you should trademark them. Cheaters in this context means welfare or disability cheater. and the context is the song and its message. but u knew that and wimped out...
  11. Yes, I heard that too. But it's not looking that way now. I think he has a shot at the R nomination and would be a good option in the general election.
  12. Riding truck with UPS is a backbreaking job. They deserve every penny they get. no doubt. And they're almost always pleasant. Even with dogs barking at them. Pay well, get the best.
  13. Working hard should ensure a roof, food, good schools for your kids, transportation to work etc. The basics at least. It doesn't. So good on UPS! Lazy sloths can have the scraps. And cheaters should be prosecuted. What say you Lenny?
  14. yes, a very presidential, world leader...
  15. He's actually done a decent job for Va. And I think he's a moderate. While he hasn't declared yet this interesting piece suggest he may well. Thoughts? https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/08/25/from-old-to-youngkin-mixed-motives-drive-the-gop-alternatives-to-trump-00112925 With his attempt to make suburbia safe for Republicans again this fall and nudge his own party to embrace early voting — which he has deemed “securing the vote” in a bow to the post-Trump GOP — the Virginia governor is hoping to show the way to the GOP on two problems that plagued them under the former president. If he can do that, he’d have an anti-Trump message, one with the benefit of being both potent and implicit, and would emerge from this year’s off-year elections as one of the biggest winners. He would also have something to offer beyond having won a single campaign for Virginia’s one-and-done governorship.
  16. i think his abortion stance will hurt him. I think Haley can talk policy, especially foreign policy with more gravitas. But I'm not good at reading R sentiments anymore...
  17. Wisconsin, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Georgia and even NC are very different from Fla which i think is now firmly red. We'll see. Suburban moms are a big deal.
  18. Interesting stats. My takeaways people already see thru Vivek. He'll drop more one his biz details emerge Haley did very well up 6 points. Maybe there still is a moderate wing to the R party Desantis apparently did well. Seemed a cold, calculated fish to me. lots of red meat for the base Speaking of which, lots of them were watching tucker... Lastly, virtue and honor don't pay in the R party. I thought Pence was great even tho I disagree with him on policy.
  19. Especially in states with Red legislatures/governors. My niece made 30k to start with a masters in NC. She does better now as she climbed the ladder and 1st bought a cheap condo and moved into a house as the market increased. All carefully planned with little room for error. But she stuck with it because it is her passion. I love that kid!
  20. Data dude. Not bs https://www.bls.gov/careeroutlook/2023/data-on-display/education-pays.htm
  21. Yes, the American dream still lives. Odds much worse without a degree but certainly possible.
  22. For those interested in how he got rich https://finance.yahoo.com/news/vivek-ramaswamy-surprise-gop-debate-230639039.html
  23. Maybe Bud Light will fill the void https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/25/business/heineken-exits-russia/index.html
  24. yup. work/politics can be tricky. Patients would test me with off color jokes and wear their MAGA stuff to visits. I just chuckled without comment. Worked OK for everyone I think. Only really angry pts were drug seekers I refused. One actually told me he'd been in jail for murder. Not so subtle threat. In real life, most all of us would probably get along.
  25. yes, in the clip i 1st had he replaced Vauxhall with Knoxville. This is one of my fav songs. Another poet/artist/great guitar player is Darrell Scott. I love Del tho. Always looks like a funeral director but a genuinely nice man and a legend in Bluegrass. It looks to me like he's pleased Billy Strings is picking up the reins. Living in Bluegrass country I'm amazed at the God given talent. There's a guitar contest for kids and adults alike in a state park once a year. Winner gets a handmade Wayne Henderson (clapton waited 3 years for one of his flattops). So damn much natural talent, and I'm stuck on fingerpicking "Freight Train" left handed with mistakes..
