That's EXACTLY what I take out of those remarks and he is RIGHT! We simply cannot continue to use him in designed runs like that. As effective as it is, that's not a smart plan for your franchise QB. It's simply too risky. Once in a while, sure. Qb sneaks? Absolutely. And let him do his thing whenever protection breaks down. But the planned runs need to be scaled waaay back and I believe they will

Another really solid, smart move. Beane is absolutely killing it this off-season so far. Will be really interesting to see what vet CB he brings in.

I know this will sound like sour grapes, but if Cinci holds on I believe they will be one of the weakest Champs ever. Yes they are gritty, yes they have been clutch, yes they will have deserved it. But so much has broken their way, so many breaks. Including tonight with the botched XP and the injury to OBJ.

You think the Bills could have used Von Miller? I love Beane but he has not been aggressive enough the last two trade deadlines in which we had realistic chances to get over the Hump with an impact player. You never know how long your window is, even with a unicorn like Josh.

If he leaves it will be interesting. Josh obviously wants him as OC, but if leaves simply for more money then it may be for the best. There certainly is a concern for continuity. On the other hand we all have been frustrated with Daboll at times. And Dorsey has never called plays, a complete unknown. A brand new OC may be a good thing. My only concern is if they insist on a whole new system. It may take Josh and our O to a whole new level but it may mean a learning curve and that may mean some difficulties next season.

No way, that was his normal kick and went halfway through EZ. Inexcusable by the coach to not either squib or attempt the short kick to 5 in a corner. Media and football experts all agreed on this today.

Hate to agree but I think this signals that they decided not to match Bates offer. He really looked good at end of the season, I hope they didn't make a mistake here with him.
