Since when has a McD defense come through in a big game?

Lately, the coach has had the team less ready then ready.

I don't see you as the bad guy.

Lastly, I think the Bengals are a very tough match up for the Bills. Burrow shredded the Bills zone defense last year. They have an excellent WR core. The Bills pass rush is often negated by Burrow's quick passing.

Lou A blew up the Bills pass protection last year. He called several blitzes that the Bills couldn't stop. This looks to be a long day for Spencer Brown.

The home crowd will make things difficult for the Bills. Will the Bills suffer any kind of PTSD going back to Cinci?

A lot has to go right for the Bills to win. It's possible but the path seems pretty narrow.

All of this and it’s why I want McDermott gone. I have zero confidence in him in big games. And I’m not basing my opinion of him on this matchup Sunday. They are a bad matchup for us, plain and simple, especially with Benford and Jackson trying to man up against Higgins and Chase. Bengals are going to get their points for sure.

Im not sure we can keep up either. Big Lou always has a great plan for their defense in big games. Where our defense crumbles, theirs steps up in big matchups. They’ll have a plan to stop josh from running and to take Diggs away. Not sure what we’ll do when that happens. They just executed a great plan against CMC, Kittle, and Aiyuk Sunday.

It’s not Sean McDermott’s fault you don’t understand how hard the NFL playoffs and winning a SB is.

You’re essentially putting personal blame on McDermott for Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid existing, and for the massive amount of injuries last season.

Those are essentially the only reason the bills don’t currently have 3 straight SB trips

The bills may not make a Super Bowl in the Allen or McDermott/Beane era. They're still doing an amazing job of having sustainable success while putting out an incredible product on the field. I for one am grateful, having been a of the team since Jim Kelly’s first year when I was in grade school. It’s easily the 2nd best stretch of football in my life as a Bills fan, and better than most franchises have had.

While I’m “grateful” we’ve had some measure of sustained success, it can be better. We’ve gone as far as McDermott and Beane can take us. There just needs to be new blood. Something to get us over the hump. We only have so much time with josh. I for one don’t want to look back and wonder what could have been if we hadn’t stuck with McBeane forever.

If we can't score points on the Bengals we have an issue. Because their defense does have vulnerabilities.

Their offense is humming right now and I don't give our undermanned D a great shot at stopping them.

This. Although their D coordinator always shows up in big games. Can’t say the same for our coaching. I expect him to have a great plan for Josh and Diggs and force us to do things we aren’t comfortable with.

As far as our defense goes, I agree with you, we’re way too banged up to hang with them. Even when we were healthy, we can’t hang with them, hence the two matchups last year. I was at the Damar game. It was quickly about to be 14-3 when he went down. It’s not being defeatist to say they’re the worst possible matchup for us (besides SF). We don’t have answers for their WRs. Going to be a long night.

  3. Lynch putting an absolute master class. Had a free comp pick, dealt it for chase young. If he leaves after this offseason to sign a big deal elsewhere, he gets a 3rd round comp pick back. Easy money, no risk.

    Don’t forget him fleecing Dallas for their 4th rounder to take lance off their hands. He still has a 1, 2, 2 more 3rd comp picks, a 4th, 2 5ths, 3 6s, and a 7th.

All I’m saying is, lynch isn’t done yet. There will be another deal done soon.

Yeah- they’ve gotten 6 3rd round picks for Saleh, McDaniel and Ryans

Correct. It’s how they swindled the Panthers out of CMC too. Lynch is a MASTER GM that works the comp formula and swings big all year long. They’re not done yet this year either. They’ll make another move soon.

Why don’t stupid teams trade with the Bills

I keep asking this too. I knew Lynch would find the moron to trade with and he crushed it AGAIN. Just like last year when he stole CMC. My bet for the Niners to win the SB just keeps getting better and better. Beane only talks to Carolina and the Giants probably.

That was mainly @BeavercreekBillsFantalking them up like an all time great team. I told him the 49ers weren’t anything close to that 2007 Patriots team that failed to go undefeated and that the 9ers wouldn’t either.

Haha I’ll take my L on that one. I bet them prior to the start of the season to go undefeated based upon their roster being the best in the nfl and their easy schedule. I was wrong. But I’m not backing off their likelihood to win the whole thing. Talent wins out and they have the most by a big margin plus the best coaching.

Lots of overreaction to the loss last night by lots of people on here and lots of people saying the eagles are the class of the nfc. I don’t see it. And neither does Vegas. Niners are still the co-favorites to win it all along with the chiefs at +450. Eagles are at +600.

I don’t think you can just flick a switch and Allen will be the gunslinger of old. They’ve neutered him. This could be a career defining year for him. He looks disinterested. He’s getting snippy with the media where he was always Joe Cool. I’m seeing that deer in the headlights look too much. Josh isn’t in the top 5 of Bills problems but because this team is so reliant on him, it really has an effect on the entire team. Dorsey should be fired for this development alone.

This. Honestly I’m worried we’ve ruined him. Let josh be josh. Designed runs PLEASE! Scrambles PLEASE! Rollouts PLEASE! We have one of the best weapons in the league and only McDermott and Dorsey would be dumb enough to not let him do everything he’s good at. It’s absolutely malpractice. We wasted his window on a bum like McDermott.

Ok I'm getting on the fire Dorsey train. Offense has been pathetic for 3 straight weeks.

Doesn’t matter unless you’re on the “fire McDermott” train too. He’s the biggest problem and has been for years, along with Beane. How he avoids the wrath with his crappy drafting is beyond me.

The screen pass has been a staple of the New England offense for the last 20+ years. Today it killed our defense. Inexcusable to not be prepared for it.

Allen was about 1-10 on balls thrown over 10 yards today.

Their kicker made everything and ours missed one.

Those three things sum up the Bills loss.

Their rag tag o line runs perfect screens. We last ran a good one during the Clinton administration.
