I say this every week but it's true. These CBs pick Allen every time... like their gloves have glue on them. Meanwhile every other QB sees those picks that I can intercept fall to the ground.... it's mind blowing

I said it in the Niners/GB thread last night. GB dropped the walk in pick 6 and then dropped the easy INT on the last drive too. Meanwhile josh throws lasers and every DB becomes Jerry rice catching everything josh throws. I don’t give a ***** what anyone says, we are cursed. Only the 49ers get that kind of luck.

I honestly don’t care who wins this game.  But I also don’t buy into the “Detroit and Cleveland are just like us” reasons to root for Detroit.   ***** ‘em.

Lions are on the cursed list like us, browns and Vikings. Root for the lions. Also be smart. The whole goal is to not have to play the 49ers. Bucs will lose to them by 20+ if they win today. Lions maybe have a chance, a small one but a chance either way. We can’t beat the Niners. Therefore root for the toughest path for them in case we get to the SB.

The key moment in the game was the drive before the Love INT when Purdy threw an absolute duck out route that the Packers DB let slip through his hands. If he catches that they are set up in the scoring zone and the game is done.

I thought Green Bay got away from the run a little bit second half and the 9ers were able to key in on playing the pass even in the play actions.

This Green Bay team is for real though. Youngest roster in the NFL and they gave the best roster in the NFL all they could handle. They are going to be a tough out the next few years.

It’s incredible the luck that the 49ers and specifically Purdy has. GB drops an easy pick 6 house call and then drops the INT you’re referring to. When Brady played, I used to joke that he had made a deal with the devil because every east INT he threw was dropped. He kept that power for 20 years. Then it magically moved to Mahomes and now Purdy. I know I’m biased but I can count on one hand the number of times a team has dropped an easy Josh INT. And purdy has 2 of them dropped in the nfc divisional game lol. Unreal.

The NFC is just not good. 49ers, Cowboys, and Eagles look good record wise during regular season because they dont play many good teams in NFC. As soon as they play a decent team you see how beatable these "elite" NFC teams are.

While that’s true of the eagles and cowboys, the 49ers are in their own class of the nfl. Is Brock good? No. But they have CMC and the rest of that roster is tops in the league.

That said, Ravens worked them over pretty good this year. They’re the only team left that can beat them. We would lose by at least a TD and honestly it would be uglier than that by the 3rd quarter in my opinion.

SF was rusty and lost Deebo three plays in.  I think they pummel Detroit or Tampa next week.

This. I thought they’d murder GB today but I didn’t know it was going to be so rainy. Detroit would hang for a half but that defense sucks and SF eventually wins by 13+. TB would lose by 17+. This was the only game to stop SF. They’re going to the SB.

I think it’s the right idea here. Plenty of chances to stop the clock with those time outs down the line. If they didn’t convert, not much time left for true pack.

This. They’re getting 3 at a minimum and still probably 7 I bet. Plus ball back at half. Shanahan will dial up a TD here most likely.

  7. Purdy is like the trust fund kid that succeeds and then people think he’s great. He’s playing a different sport than josh and others. Guys wide open and all the time in the world to throw. It’s the easiest job ever. Dump it off and it goes for a first down.

they’ll double dip with a TD here and then when they get the ball at the half. 21-6 coming up.

think Green bay wins outright  Jordan Love is a difference maker and 49ers might be sluggish after the bye

Shanahan has had 2 weeks to prep and scheme up their first drive. I’d be shocked if CMC doesn’t score on the first drive tonight and then Love is playing from behind all night.

I really think GB has a better shot than most think.  They have some challenges for sure on defense but their passing game I think is a real problem for SF.

probably a long shot I know but I loved them in the Dallas matchup, they were all wrong for Dallas and I think that passing game has a shot to be the difference.

Definitely a long shot. SF is going to kill them. I think Houston and TB have much better chances.

I've been feeling for some time now that special teams is going to be the death of us this season. Certainly gave me plenty of heartburn today.

All I want is a game with no turnovers and no special teams gaffes by us.

I was hoping we had solved our kicker issue with drafting bass. Now I cringe every single time he lives up to kick.

  11. 1. 49ers (realize ravens beat them but they have the best roster by a mile, best coach,  and literally no major injuries somehow)

    2. Ravens

    3. Chiefs

    4. Bills (too many injuries but we’ll see)

    5. Lions (defense isn’t good enough and the Goff collapse is coming)

    6. Texans (CJ Carrie’s them)

    7. Packers (awful defense that’s about to get exposed for 35+.. love looking good though)

    8. Bucs (only still alive because they’re in her nfc)
