I am no QB or O-line expert, but even I was like "he's sailing his initial throws the exact same way as last week, something has him shook and his mechanics are off".

I am partly convinced he tried to develop some new techniques in the off season and is applying them to all situations. Passes are coming out weird. When he launched the bomb to Diggs, the throw looked so off, almost wobbly and too high. Like, he knows he’s bombing deep passes too far and now taking too much off of them.

Your first mistake was reading the game day threads. It’s silly take after silly take after silly take. Always extreme overreactions in there. Too toxic for me. I browse for news like when Edmunds went missing I knew I’d see the reason in there. But I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I agree that there are a lot of over-reactions and knee jerks in there but I don't get triggered by them.  I find them entertaining and it may also be a good release for people watching the game alone or what have you.  Either way, I don't really find it a good enough reason to get twisted up about it.

It was rough on the game threads today.  Got pretty annoyed at the doom and gloom up 14-0, 21-0, 28-0...today was a set back it seemed.  We stink, our qb stinks, daboll stinks...Higher expectations.  People jumping in the conversation who normally wouldn't, trolls, kids...casual fans.  Bottom line we won 35-0 on the road in division in a very big early season game.  The Superbowl wasn't today.  We will be fine.  If you hate on us on a secomd and eight in the second quarter down 3 pis....bug of.... go Bills.

I saw all this today and I wouldn't call any of them "trolls, kids...casual fans."  We are all just fans. Some people react differently then others.  Big deal.  I've invested 35 years of my life and money into Buffalo Bills football.  I've earned the right to feel however the hell I want whenever I want.  Right, wrong or indifferent.

But the so-called "real fans" acting like something isn't up with our offense and Josh either have a big jug of kool-aide they're drinking or are just blinded by their fandom.

  4. I think this is a mismatch for both defenses.  Miami runs a different style defense than Pitt. and they won't match up well with our receivers(at least on paper.)  Secondly, Phin's receivers are going to give Wallace/Edmunds some fits.  Poyer, Hyde, and Tre will hold there own.  Gesecki Is going to find soft spots in zone.  This really hinges on whether we can develop a semblance of a running game to keep the defense honest and Allen is on point.

  5. No, not really.  I've seen them lose before and have heard everything over the last....about 30 years.  I'm disappointed when they lose but I don't get triggered/upset/mad by others thoughts or over reactions.  Most of the over reactions are born out of frustration anyway, which I totally get.

Nah, kinda fun catharsis to all be sad/mad together. Too many film junkies point out cool stuff. I definitely avoid national media though

I don't disagree. The offense has flaws. Situations can manifest that knock us off our game. That does not mean its "figured out" so to speak. It just is what it is.

I believe this is made worse by our run philosophy. I don't defend this. Teams with balanced defenses have fail safes if the normal path is not working, we don't really. It's a flaw with the offense.

Its still an incredible challenge to shut down Allen or our WRs.

Allen did play relatively poor in our two playoff wins though. He also didn't play great in the Steelers win last year.

I think Daboll needs to mix in 10 more runs per game. I think he needs to relax on some of the cute angle stuff and know when to go straight at the defense better.

I agree, but our offense looked so unimaginative yesterday aside from the "cutesy" plays that blew up in our face.  Four and five sets...very little motion or play action(as if defenses would buy it anyway.) we need to be more balanced with some mis-direction mixed in...I know I'm preaching to the choir but still feeling a little disappointed from yesterdays showing.

I dont think its been figured out. Hit a couple deep passes and not make bone head play calls and we would have been fine.

Honestly, tempo of the game was very similar to last years Steeler game, only difference is we melted late instead of get hot. Instead, Steelers got hot.

We dont look like a Madden team vs good teams but we were still effective. Just gotta make plays.

I feel the opposite...I think in some ways the Bills have exposed themselves as being way to dependent on Allen.  Steelers game planned the same way the Chiefs did against us in the AFCCG(Defensively).  It was so similar that it had me saying to myself that the Bills have become predictable.  I have half a thought that McD will abandon the pass completely and try to become a power running team against the Dolphins, and they'll be ready for it.  The Phins have to know we are going to amp up the running plays this week as a knee jerk reaction from yesterday.

I  think this is just as premature as calling us a Super Bowl team. We are a contender, among several. We are perceived as one of the very best contenders. Whatever the road is will not be easy. That said, I have no doubt we have the ability to be better this year and the competitive environment to help strengthen it.

Sure, we are a contender....But we didn't do anything to stand out among the pack.  I would place 7-8 teams above the Bills right now.  There are some glaring holes that were exposed yesterday.  If we can beat KC in a month, I'll be a believer but until then, I stand by my statement.
