    Anyone want a dome now?

    i want a dome.

but that has nothing to do with this convo. This is about the NFL protecting themselves from having already drunk drivers having to sled their way homes in 2000 pound wrecking balls.

im the biggest proponent of a dome. But this game would be postponed if it was being played in a nuclear bunker.

  2. Fantastic news assuming the weather will be better.

Playing tomorrow would have been a carnival game where whoever gets the ball to bounce the right way wins. Reminder: the “blue collar Buffalo tough” thing is a figment of some boomers’ imagination. Josh is from California. No one likes to play in god awful weather and it loses any semblance of skill-based result.

oh and should be safer for fans, if that’s your thing.

  3. We’d have a much better advantage is this game moved to Indy.

No one has an advantage playing in this muck, especially not a QB from California.

The 10 point line might as well be 0. Or 50. As the skill of the players is damn near out the window.

The idea of “buffalo blue collar bad weather team” is laughable in most cases anyway, but playing a team from the exact same geographical area makes it absurd.

  4. Gabe may be the best downfield blocker on the team. It’s an unusual thing to be dominate at - I’ve never considered it to be a needed skill for a great WR. But without this, several big plays would not have been do big.

That said, he’s clearly not a WR2 in the traditional sense of ….. well, catching a football.

So while he’s a unicorn when it comes to downfield blocking, that doesn’t trump his downfall from potential  WR1 on a team that doesn’t have a Diggs on the roster to a guy who seemingly gets lost on routes (some were Josh’s fault no doubt) and literally struggles to catch.

He’s not Von Miller level of useless. Few are. But he’s not Sheffield had nothing but upside in my exhausted opinion.

    Congratulations, man!

I know you've talked about your personal life on here every now and then, and it's really cool to see things working out so awesomely for you.

Hopefully he'll get to grow up knowing the Bills only as a perennial playoff team and Super Bowl contender/winner.

    Thanks Rubes!

i jokingly said to my wife “I’m not sure how I’ll feel if he gets to see a SB after only being alive for a month when I’ve had to suffer for 43 years.” 😂

  6. I’ve never even seen it in real life. I’ve done a lot of stupid ***** too. Just never crossed paths with it. Plus, I am a generally (diagnosed) anxious. I imagine doing a line would send me in the wrong direction.

    plus I’m old now.

McDermott has gone through the ringer this year. You can hear it in his voice. This win meant everything to him.

That’s so out of character I was almost convinced it was AI of some sort. That was really awesome to hear. Hope there’s video of that.
