  1. This is laughably phony. NFL rules prohibit more than 5 primetime games, and no team in NFL history has ever had two 3 game road trips. Yet folks here are commenting like this is serious. No wonder there are so many wealthy people. Suckers born every second. C'mon, apply some common sense.

hey did nothing to address WR though after trading Brown away.  They got great value picks throughout but Bateman is now their #1 WR.  They seem content on running the ball and relying on a strong defense.  Just a strange way to build a roster in today's pass happy NFL.

Having a solid running game and strong D can still rule in today's NFL I'm just being a bit of the contrarian here regarding the Ravens love, I have no skin in their game, but they have had 2 straight years of ridiculous injury hell. Their D (When healthy) is very physical, And Jackson can still wreak havoc. At this point I fear the Raven more than the Chiefs or Bengals who I believe have regressed a bit. (Still have serious doubts frankly that the Bengals are all that great) The Ravens will win the AFC North. Their schedule isn't all that rough either.

Jordan Dajani of CBS Sports really liked the Ravens draft:

"The Ravens clearly had one of the best drafts, and it's because they took the best available player more often than not. Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton may be the best player in the draft, Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum is a legitimate first-round talent and David Ojabo is a first-rounder if he doesn't suffer a torn Achilles. Maybe he will miss his rookie season, but it's worth it if he's a star for many years to come.

It wasn't just the first few picks that the Ravens scored highly on. Fourth-round pick Daniel Faalele is a 6-foot-8 offensive tackle who could have a bright future in the league, cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis was an "A+" pick and then Baltimore took two tight ends in Charlie Kolar from Iowa State and Isaiah Likely from Coastal Carolina. That sounds like a weird strategy, but Likely is a versatile pass-catcher who probably will line up in several different spots."

I have to agree. In fact it's odd that the Ravens are seldom mentioned lately about being a true SB contender. I believe they are right up there with the Bills - Chiefs - Bengals - Rams - Packers. They helped their D tremendously in the draft, have a great coach, and solid weapons in including the QB. They'll be trouble for sure.

This was done for Jan/Feb. Sure watching Miller sack Wilson, Jones, Tua, or any other QB from Sept to Dec will be nice but this is a Jan/Feb signing. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

They need him to play hard all-year. I'm sure he will. NOBODY guarantees $130M for 3 weeks work. I'm sure he'll be rotated so he's not worn down. Bills aren't stupid. When December rolls around, and he has 2 sacks, nobody will be happy, particularly Miller.

  5. Blah, blah, blah. We really need another topic on this? What's the point? Do we have a need to self-immolate ourselves on a daily/hourly basis. Do Bills fans need to constantly reminded that tax-payer paid for stadiums aren't the best investments on earth? This is how over 75% of ALL the stadiums/arenas are paid for in the USA. Your right, maybe the Bills should leave and let the states of Texas, California, Oregon, or Utah etc. gladly pay for a Bills stadium, but we will be able to sleep at night knowing we saved ourselves about $100 bucks in state taxes over the course of 30 years! How small can you be? How little do you earn that this is a big deal in your lives? Small consolation prize for watching our Bills become the San Diego Surfers, or the San Antonio Alamos, while Buffalo is stuck back in  permanent exile of being a nowhere rust belt place where the only headlines are bad weather, and murders. For those miserable folks who constantly B word about this. Grow up. Get a better job where a $100 bucks in extra taxes (Total) don't ruin your life.

  6. The ONLY area that Watson gets the edge over Allen, is that the obviously perverse Watson is better at getting happy endings at the local message parlor. It's unlikely that Watson plays much this year anyway. I think it's generally a tossup between Mahomes - Herbert - and Josh. I think Mahomes is the best well rounded player, but here in Buffalo with the conditions, I'd take Josh hands down.

  7. God less Ralph Wilson, There would be no Bills without him. But lets face it, cheapo Ralph would NEVER in a billion years go on a spending free like this. I can't think of a better combo of NFL owners and management than what we have right here in our little NFL snow globe. Pegula's spending like the Yankees or Dodgers!! It's truly amazing. You don't even see the NFL heavyweights like Dallas, the Jersey teams, Chicago, Philly, Wash etc. (Maybe LA Rams are equal). Teams with full luxury boxes, and metro area's of 5M+. These truly are the best of times to be a Buffalo Bills fan.... No they just have to ring home the Lombardi!!

  8. Washington will NEVER win a SB with Snyder as the owner. He's ruined a once great and successful franchise. He's been a vile man since the day he bought the team at age 34. He basically invented the call center which is the 20th century version of office slavery. Long days, low pay, constant monitoring, and no advancement. Turnover to this day is over 40% a year. The guy is known to have zero personality, and a letch around women. Fans stay a way just to spite him. He's a pariah in DC. Other than this he's a great guy.

Exciting News!! Buffalo remains on the world stage and conscience by having an ultra-rare commodity. Our 58th largest US city and small snowy outpost will continue to have a very precious commodity. A franchise of the worlds most popular and exciting sport. In the coming years there will be NFL franchises in England - Germany - Spain - Canada - Mexico etc. Buffalo be part of the conversation whenever football is discussed Vs. being a Toledo, Omaha, or some other long forgotten place that is seldom thought of or mentioned... If in 1959 when Ralph Wilson uttered the words - "I'm purchasing an AFL franchise (For $25 grand!) for the city of Buffalo NY" he changed the course of history for this city for the better unlike anything else since. Period. Plus with the continuance of outdoor football (The only real kind). Buffalo maintains it's heritage of a tough, hard-scrabble town, where the inhabitance work hard, raise solid families, and go root for their football team, come rain or shine, snow or wind. We'll be their. LETS GO BUFFALLO!!

You guys think it will be downtown or OP?

That ship sailed many months ago. Just like the useless dome. I liked the idea of the stadium in Buffalo, it's where it really belongs  But costs were the factor. I still say the light rail should extend to OP. You could party DT, and take a 10 minute train ride. It's what many fans do in New Orleans, Philly, Jersey, Denver, Santa Clara (49ers), and even Pittsburgh. I see not having a dome is not stopping ANY player from coming to Buffalo. Miller said he liked playing in the cold in Denver.

  11. Yeah Tyreke Hill and South Beach could be a bad mix for him. I believe he wanted out, and just kept raising his demands. Just like LeBron James famously said - "I'm taking my skills to South Beach". He didn't even mention Miami. For guys with a ton of money, Miami offers 24 by 7 opportunities for bad results. Tyreke has his ring... Time to party. We'll see how it works out.

For one thing, I think you overestimate the Chiefs' ability to easily replace a guy like Tyreek Hill. In his first six seasons, he's made the Pro Bowl six times and has three First Team All-Pros. He's only the 4th WR since 1970 to catch at least six touchdown passes in each of his first six seasons. The other three? Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, and Larry Fitzgerald. He is indisputably the primary engine of the Chiefs offense and he drastically changes the way that teams defend the Chiefs. Subtracting him from that team absolutely could make them much less effective, even IF they draft two shiny new rookie WRs, because very few have the game-changing speed and ability of Tyreek Hill.

Secondly, as it relates to the Bills -- the Chiefs have undeniably been the main impediment to the Bills making the Super Bowl the past two seasons. In his last two playoff games against the Bills, Hill has 20 catches for 320 yards and 2 TDs. Seeing that type of talent leave the roster of our main playoff rival these past two seasons is a good thing.

Lastly, you're right: We have to face Hill twice a year now. But with how often we've been facing the Chiefs in the regular season and playoffs, we were facing him twice a year anyway, but on a better opponent! I think people would rather bank on the idea that while the Dolphins will be better, the Bills have gone 7-1 against them in the past eight games and Allen tends to play them really well every time they line up. We already KNOW that Hill makes the Chiefs almost impossible to defend. What we DON'T know is whether he'll do the same for the Dolphins. He could, sure, but it's no lock. Better, in the opinion of many, to definitely weaken the stronger competition (the Chiefs) and POSSIBLY -- even LIKELY -- strengthen the weaker competition (the Dolphins), knowing that it still probably doesn't put them at the Bills' level.

My post doesn't carry much weight obviously, but as I was driving home today from Syracuse listening to the NFL Network on Sirius, they had plenty of their usual NFL experts including Polian stating that even with Tua being a mixed bag at QB, his strengths of throwing on the run will play into Hills strengths. Evidently Miami has also solidified the O-Line and RB positions as well. Plus many of the Sirius x-coaches stated that WR position is truly loaded in this draft, and Andy Reid can do wonders even with raw rookies if they have the tools. I don't see the Chiefs dropping down much if at all. I thought they played a bit complacent last year. No more. Frankly I worry more about the Chargers and the Bronco's anyway. I always thought that the Bills very weak scheduler last year was more of a hindrance, as they had trouble with the better teams when they came around. That won't be the problem this year.

  13. A lot of Punters here painting this trade as a net-win for the Bills. I don't see ANY way this is remotely true. My visions of the Bills LB's and entire secondary flailing at Hill as he ran by them, insultingly waving at them like they were standing still is still etched in my mind, and now that will happen 2 times a year! Chiefs will now be likely choosing 2 WR's in the 1st round, and likely getting BETTER given the talent available, with tons of cap space to boot! Further hurting the Bills chances of getting a decent WR in the draft. Plus Diggs is going to be looking for Hill/Adams money and the Bills can't come even remotely close. Diggs is hardly a wall-flower, and will likely be stirring things up shortly. This was NOT a good day for the Bills. They are still the favorites in the east, but it's not a slam dunk, and those two "Cakewalk" games against the Dolphins is no more. Don't forget, the Fins were having a great FA period before the Hill deal, and they have better new head coach. Bills 2022 schedule was already formidable, those two "Easy" games on the schedule are gone. The rivalry is back! The Dolphins will certainly remember all the recent poundings they have taken by the Bills.

  14. Fitz.....  If Colts were a QB away from being SB caliber team, they wouldn't have been blown out, and humiliated by the Jags in their most important game of the year. Not sure Reich is all that good either. Don't really care, the Colts belonged in Baltimore, the ownership are carpetbaggers. I hope they win 2 games next year.

    • On March 31, 2017, Keenum signed a one-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
    • Due to an injury to Sam Bradford, Keenum started the Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, completing 20 of 37 passes for 167 yards in a 26–9 loss.
    • In the next game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he threw for 369 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings won by a score of 34–17.
    • Through Weeks 4–7, Keenum averaged 196 yards with a total of two touchdowns and two interceptions, but a record of 3–1 over the span.
    • During Week 8, he had two touchdowns and 288 yards against the winless Cleveland Browns to enter the bye-week.
    • After a Week 9 bye, Keenum threw for 304 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions against the Washington Redskins as the Vikings won their fifth straight game, 38–30.

This was 5 years ago. Ancient history, and meaningless. I still like the pickup, but 5 years ago I was young, handsome, had money, and a wife.
