  1. Think it's been badly handled by McBeane unfortunately. Good Free Agency, poor draft.
  2. Interesting that Peter Schrager is saying the RB is deep with a lot of options on the board still. Wonder if we should have gone for a LB in the second, a WR in the third and left the RB until now on those grounds? But perhaps we didn't expect the WRs to go off the board at such a rate. Or perhaps we were never in for a WR.
  3. So having slept on it I'm still unimpressed with the pick. Bernard himself looks to have promise but as a fourth or fifth round pick, not a third. He's a reach and I don't think we're in a position where we needed to reach. I hope he is a steal and this thread will be treated like Josh's draft thread in the lore of TBD. Cook was a round too early but I can accept it; we needed a RB and he shows promise. We have someone where Beane has picked the player, thrown him at the coaches and told them to get the best out of him. In the third.
  4. I wonder if we might chuck in next year's second or third to try and sweeten the pot, to then perhaps trade back in nearer the time?
  5. This might be harder to follow than days one and two but might as well have somewhere to discuss it! It feels like the Bills will not do the predictable and we do have a handful of picks in the sixth which we may try to trade up with.
  6. Think a WR might have been beneficial.
  7. It’s more of a case of was he the best choice? Doesn’t feel like it.
  8. Two reaches from the Bills IMO. I like Cook but he was really a third round (though completely understand it) and Bernard is more like a fourth or fifth round pick. Not sure about the thought processes considering the players left on the board, especially the latter. Disappointing.
  9. They didn't reach with what they had either. Unlike...
  10. Bad. Joe Marino hated it the moment it was done. An utter reach at least two rounds too early.
  11. Fells like Beane acknowledging his mate's work rather than drafting for the Bills. The longer than passes the more annoyed I'm getting - seems a utter waste of 89 considering those who were available.
  12. I thought the line "The only way you beat Josh Allen is on a toss of a coin" was pretty funny TBH.
  13. Not really. If we wamted a Safet we could have drafted Nick Cross.
  14. I'd love to hear McBeane's reasoning on this - Elam made sense, Cook made sense, Bernard...? It's as though the Pats took over drafting us.
  15. Thank goodness we haven't got a fourth round pick if this is the standard we're picking at three. Reports aren't great at the level we've chosen him at and that's putting it mildly. Did we panic after Tolbert was taken and just stick a pin in a list?
  16. Reports have him as a day three pick. Not sure what they're playing at with this one.
  17. True, but the way some have been speaking on here there seemed to be the belief we should draft Willis.
  18. Were we really looking to draft a QB? Surely at this stage we should be looking to support Josh, not draft a further back up for him?
  19. There goes Willis, to the Titans.
  20. I think we're looking to get back into the 4th rather than the 3rd.
  21. I should have just done the math. It's half three in the morning here and I only got five hours sleep last night. That'ws my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
  22. Ah, sorry, for some reason thought we were 87!
  23. Wait, have we traded down to 89? YThe Cardinals are now at 87.
  24. Dean's finally been picked by the Eagles.
