  1. This team has few superstars, but no weaknesses.  Even our "weakest" players made plays:

    1.  Much maligned CB2 Levi Wallace had an excellent sack of Jackson, hanging on to his jersey and spinning him around.

    2. Fan punching bag Trent Murphy held his own 1-on-1 with Lamar in the backfield, containing Lamar till the cavalry arrived, resulting in a sack.

    3. Still not playing at the level he was at last year prior to his knee injury, Harrison Philips stuffed several inside runs.

    4. Nobody heard Ike Boettger's name all night, clear indication he was holding his own.

    5. Devin Singletary.....uh....actually, I would not be disappointed if he ceased being our every-down back.

  2. When Josh scrambles (laterally or forward, when he goes backwards it's usually a disaster), I now expect him to make a daring downfield pass.  Usually in a spot only our guy can make the play.  When Lamar scrambles, I only worry he makes it to open field (despite his excellent across the body throw to Brown in the 3rd).  I agree with those who say he's one dimensional:  though he's a decent pocket passer, his style can be corralled by disciplined defense.

  3. ...all 5 members of the Electric Company, the line that blocked for OJ in the early '70s, weighed between 253 and 255 lbs?  That's a full 60 lbs. less than the average lineman today.

...the heaviest Buffalo Bill ever was Michael Jasper, who weighed in at 375 lbs (he lost weight at the request of Chan Gailey).  His playing weight was as high as 450 lbs in college.

My first Bills game was the season opener in 1994.    A Jets fan and a Bills fan got in a fight directly behind us both holding a beer in one hand and trying to punch each other with the other.   End result, no punches landed, both were thrown out, both beers spilled all over my little brother below them.

Along similar lines I went to the Sunday night Bills Jets game in 90s and it was the only time I was uncomfortable. It was from opening kickoff till at least half time and all I saw was security grabbing people and pulling them out of seats. We sat in lower section near midfield and even that area had a large number of fights which was not common then.

Jets fans are the worst.  Sorry New Yorkers.  When you're at someone else's stadium, it's alright to be loud during plays, but maybe keep a low profile otherwise.

Dolphins fans are OK, usually respectful, just there to watch the game.  Pats fans are arrogant, but mostly peaceful.  Jets fans are the doucheyest, most loud-mouthed, aggressive turd-burglars I've ever seen at the Stadium.  Even Raiders fans are better behaved.
