That was strange. I think many of us saw this as a possibility at pick 41.

If the training staff can keep him on the field...

They can literally just draft a guy like Henderson from Ohio State.
I'd do it. We keep losing to them because our pass rush is garbage and secondary/linebackers are made of glass.
Cook doesn't change any of that.
You're getting bad feedback... but I kinda like this take.

Possibly a future Jet or Dolphin.

Anyone have the latest report on Zay Flowers? Still doubtful? Downgraded to out yet?

In 1991, Buffalo was undefeated at 5-0 until they ran into a buzz saw in Kansas City, getting blown out 33-6 in prime time…Later that season, the Chiefs then traveled to Buffalo, for a rematch, in the divisional round of the playoffs, where the Bills got their revenge 38-14…
Likewise, the 2024 Bills were undefeated, at 3-0, until they ran into a buzz saw in Baltimore, getting blown out 35-10 in prime time…And now the Ravens are traveling to Buffalo, for a rematch in the divisional round of the playoffs…
Will history repeat itself, with Buffalo, once again, getting their revenge at home? I’d like to think so…👍
Christian Okoye. Nigerian Nightmare. I hated that guy. He was unstoppable. Kinda like King Henry.

Yeah....cheer for the Ravens. We can have a "bye" week during our last game against the Pats if Ravens win and we win our next 2.

If both teams have 5 losses after tonight, and we win the next 2 (not out of the question), wouldn't we have the #2 seed wrapped up after week 16?

Not much consensus here. I will follow this debate.
I think, however, that we can all appreciate the durability of our QB while discussing.

If you're going to the Fish game this weekend, don't forget it's Daylight Savings! An hour of extra drinkin' and eatin' and clownin' is a lot more fun that an hour of extra sleep.

730 the latest. Be at Duty Free at 630-7 to load up and have some laughs in the parking lot. Then get in line and wait. Unfortunately, they generally only have 2-4 booths open until 8.

Ray Davis doesn't drop passes or have critical fumbles . Also, it seems to me that Ray Davis plays with a lot more heart than James Cook, fighting for extra yards etc. Which makes sense given how much he's had to endure in his personal life.
Some young backs run without fear, knowing each carry can mean the chance at a better life. Financially, at least.

Going back to '96, I've attended every playoff loss and none of the playoff wins. Only 3 games, but come on!

As many have pointed out, his attitude seems right. Also on the positive side, I don't believe he has complained to the media about not getting much chance at starter reps. And little if any griping when they brought in Douglas. Fingers crossed the hard work pays off and he makes a big jump. I bet he's needed sometime before mid-season.

Ok,. I'll bite. Zach Eedy is listed as 7' 4" and 300 lbs and probably weights a little more. Maybe not quite the BMI of a typical NFL interior lineman but how is Eedy a beanpole?
Chet Holmgren is listed as 7' 1" and 209 lbs, Victor Wembanyama is 7'4" and 210 lbs. Those guys are beanpoles.
Edey's like a young Andre the Giant.

It would cost the entire draft plus next year's first and second. Even that might not get it done.
Just tried it on three simulator sites. Best I could get was Pats #3 for our entire draft this year plus next year's 1st 2nd and 3rd.

Where did you play HS football that you were taking 10 hour bus rides for games, Montana? We travelled from Niagara in Canada to North Pittsburgh for an exhibition game. Took about 5 hours.

Here's how I see it: Any team can get hot in the playoffs. What dramatically increases your odds is a QB who has a history of playing dominant ball for 4-5 game stretches, and a defense that has shut down high-powered offenses. The Bills have both. It might be our year, it might not. Buckle up.

Every day.
But that's life.
If you just do your best, then you've done everything you could and you don't have anything to feel bad about.
This is gold. I face every day with the humility of knowing I will fail a bunch, but I will keep giving it my all. And I'm never above listening (really listening) to criticism.
But I get you OP about the drought-era Bills. They gave me joy in a "misery loves company" sort of way.

I don't know why but I think this is the year, weird strong feeling going on.

So much depends on luck. How many of the previous years can you point to injuries as a key reason we couldn't get there. Tre in 2021. Von in 2022. Milano and DaQuan in 2023. Benford in 2024. I know one or two players don't make a team, but these were among our best defensive players in their respective years.
All that being said.... we have some impressive depth.
