For this stat to make sense you cant look at number of drops, you have to look at catch percentage, otherwise the data isnt normalized.   Yes Diggs has drops, but he also has had a lot of opportunities to drop the ball.  The real weak spots have been Brown, Knox and Davis.   I am not sure whats going on with Brown, I know he has a lower body injury, but 51% is just brutal.  On the upside Beasley has been automatic this year.

Honestly feel like Beasley is one of the most underrated WRs in the game. He catches everything, runs great routes and can get extra yards with his feet. I really like the Bills receivers when John Brown is right, and I don't think it's a coincidence that things started going downhill once he got hurt.

I still can't believe Davis missed that catch in the endzone. Almost a perfectly thrown ball by Josh, and put the Bills in a precarious position.

Good point, but it assumes an organization can "wreck" a player.

I think where a player is drafted can absolutely have an impact on his career, but I don't think it wrecks his ability to play.

It's more likely that Darnold just isn't going to be as good as some thought; he regressed his last year at USC and his stock value dropped in some people's eyes.

The Jets are surely going hard for #1 and Trevor Lawrence, assuming he comes out.

If he has the talent, even the Jets can't ruin him.

Darnold is going to end up somewhere else.

I'd bet Sam Darnold is going to have a career resurgence after the Jets let him go, just like everyone else Adam Gase has infected.

  3. It was nice that Allen was able to drive down the field for a TD in like 2 minutes, but where was that all game?!

I hate this game for many reasons. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman going on and on about Mahomes and the Chiefs like they are the second coming. Terry Bradshaw calling Allen inaccurate, and there's nothing to be done about it.

It would have sucked if we lost but if it looked competitive, I'd have taken it. This game gave life to the Allen haters, and basically made a joke out of the only thing the Bills defense has been doing ok all year in stopping the run. 7 yards a carry? Yikes. Mahomes didn't even really light it up, and pretty much every throw he did make was easy because the Bills apparently don't know how to cover receivers.

I hate life and football right now.

I hate that this game starts at 5 PM (4 PM where I am).

What the heck kind of start time is that for such a big game, even if it was delayed...

I'm more annoyed because the start of the game is when there's the most optimism. I don't want to pull my phone out after getting off work and seeing us down by several scores before half lol

And given how our defense is playing, I'm worried I'm going to miss the good stuff!

You know, I'm kinda getting annoyed with people saying the Chiefs are going to score a billion points against the Bills' defense. First off, BOTH starting CBs, including our best defender, were out, along with Matt Milano. John Brown being out also wasn't ideal. Tractorcito sending Norman to outer space was hilarious and the memes are great, but aside from that, he was held to around 3 yards per carry. Meanwhile, the Chiefs just gave up 40 points to the Raiders, who the Bills handled from start to finish, and haven't had any really impressive wins aside from beating down Baltimore, another pretty overrated team. They almost lost to the Chargers for God's sake. The prevailing narrative is the same as the old Jack Morris baseball trope, pitching to the score. The Chiefs apparently just don't care about winning against bad teams. Such nonsense, KC on the whole, has not looked good this year. Their defense has not looked good this year. Mahomes has not looked like top shelf Mahomes. To me, this game is pretty even, will be high scoring and a ton of fun to watch. 5 point dogs, pfffff. Garbage.

Mahomes and Allen are so similar in style, both very good rolling out of the pocket, both can connect on long bombs, and both can scramble for 5 to 10 yards when they don't have options. Josh needs to make good decisions this game. I gotta assume the fact that they were down for so much of the game caused him to press and make throws he normally wouldn't. Allen needs to make those mid range passes to Beasley when they are there before the second half starts.

Same.   28 years old, malcontent twitter fingers, who is averaging 3.5 yards a carry over the last two years.   Not a fan of the guy.

Minus the ineffectiveness, people were saying the same thing about Stefon Diggs, and he's been nothing but positive. A total team player thus far and producing, throwing his body on the line every game, and he was on a much better team than the Jets.

Pretty sure Bell wouldn't be such a malcontent playing on a good team with a good QB who could actually utilize him. Singletary has been disappointing and Moss has been injured. A lot probably has to do with blocking but for basically nothing, seems like it's worth a shot.
